Joe DaSilva,45, was last seen on Monday, October 5, 2020, in the Lawrence Avenue West and Black Creek Drive area.

He is described as 5’6"-5'7", 228 lbs., bald, and clean shaven.

He was last seen wearing a hooded sweater, sweat pants, brown hiking shoes, a black baseball cap, and carrying a black backpack.

Police are concerned for his safety.

Kenneth Allison, 89, was last seen on Thursday, October 8, 2020, at approximately 2:15 p.m., in the Bloor Street West and Markland Drive area.

He is described as 5’11", 175 lbs., with grey hair.

He was last seen wearing a jacket, blue jeans, and dark rimmed glasses. He was driving a grey Toyota.

Police are concerned for his safety.

She was last seen wearing a blue sweater, black jeans and black boots.

Missing Man Located, Bloor Street West and Markland Drive area, Kenneth Allison, 89

Personal Injury Collision #34/2020, College Street near Gladstone Avenue

On Thursday, October 8, 2020, at approximately 11:36 p.m., police responded to a call for a personal injury collision that occurred on College Street near Gladstone Avenue.

It is reported that:

- a 38-year-old man was riding a 2008 Honda CBR silver motorcycle westbound on College Street near Gladstone Avenue

- at this time, for unknown reasons, the motorcyclist crossed into the eastbound lanes of College Street and lost control of his motorcycle

- the rider was ejected from the motorcycle and he subsequently struck a parked motor vehicle on the south side of College Street, just west of Gladstone Avenue

- the motorcyclist was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries

Police are asking local residents, businesses, and drivers, who may have security or dash camera footage of the area or incident, to contact investigators.

Police seek assistance identifying suspect in Aggravated Assault investigation, D’Arcy Street and Beverley Street area, Images released

The Toronto Police Service is appealing to the public to help identify a suspect in an aggravated assault investigation.

The incident happened in the early hours of Thursday, October 8, 2020, in the area of D’Arcy Street and Beverley Street.

It is alleged:

- a unknown man produced a knife and stabbed a 28-year-old man

- the man sustained serious injuries


Investigators have released images of a suspect they want to identify.

He is described as 40 to 60 years-old, 5'5", and thin build. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and dark pants.

He is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached. If seen, immediately contact 911.

The Toronto Police Service Parking Enforcement Unit will not be enforcing the following on-street parking bylaws during the Thanksgiving public holiday on Monday, October 12, 2020:

- Pay-and-Display/Metered Areas
- Rush-Hour Routes
- Posted signs indicating Monday to Friday regulations

All other areas and parking offences will continue to be enforced.

Police seek public's assistance identifying suspect in Assault Causing Bodily Harm investigation, Runnymede Subway Station, Video Released

The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public's assistance in identifying a suspect in an assault causing bodily harm investigation.

The incident happened on Thursday, September 17, 2020, at 12:06 p.m., at 256 Runnymede Road, at the Runnymede Subway Station

It is reported:

- a man in his 80s was assaulted on board a TTC bus

- the man sustained non-life threatening injuries

- the suspect fled into the Runnymede subway station

Security camera footage has been released .

Homicide #49/2020, St. Clair Avenue and Mould Avenue, Update, Two men arrested, Man still wanted

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of two arrests made in a homicide investigation.

On Thursday, September 10, 2020, at 1:42 p.m. officers responded to a shooting in the St. Clair Avenue and Mould Avenue area.

It is reported that:

- officers arrived on scene and located a man suffering from a gunshot wound in a parking lot

- paramedics attempted life-saving measures

- the man succumbed to his injuries

The deceased has been identified as Andre Rodriguez, 26, of Toronto.

On Thursday, October 8, 2020, investigators from the Homicide Unit arrested Michael Carty, 25, of Toronto. He was charged with:

1. Conspiracy to Commit Murder
2. Accessory After the Fact

He appeared at Old City Hall on Friday, October 9, 2020, and was held in custody.

On Friday, October 9, 2020, investigators from the Homicide Unit arrested Ayuub Jama, 24, of Toronto. He was charged with:

1. First Degree Murder

He is scheduled to appear at Old City Hall on Saturday, October 10, 2020.

A warrant is still issued for Abdelmuniem Abdalla, 33, of Grimsby, who is wanted for:

1. First-Degree Murder

Young Person Wanted in Shooting Investigation, Judicial authorization obtained to identify young person, Juray Dixon, 17, wanted on warrant, Judicial authorization expires Tuesday, October 13, 2020, at 6 p.m., Photo Released

The Toronto Police Service requests the public's assistance locating a 17-year-old boy wanted in a Shooting Investigation.

On Wednesday, August 19, 2020, at approximately 6:10 p.m., the Toronto Police Service received a call for a shooting in the Mount Olive Drive and Kipling Avenue area.

It is alleged that:

- at least six armed suspects attended a residential community in the Mount Olive Drive and Kipling Avenue area

- the suspects entered the residential community on foot, brandishing firearms

- the suspects then opened fire on citizens who were outside

- two victims were struck by gunfire

- the suspects fled on foot and got into a white Mazda SUV and a silver Nissan sedan

- the suspects were last seen travelling east on Mount Olive Drive

- the two victims were taken to hospital where they were treated for their injuries

On Wednesday, August 19, 2020, at approximately 7:40 p.m., the Toronto Police Service received a call for a shooting in the Shoreham Drive and Shoreham Court area.

It is alleged that:

- at least four armed suspects attended a residential community in the Shoreham Drive and Shoreham Court area

- the suspects entered on foot, brandishing firearms

- they then opened fire on citizens who were outside

- three victims were struck by gunfire

- the suspects fled on foot and got into a white Mazda SUV

- they were last seen travelling east on Shoreham Drive

- the three victims were taken to hospital where they were treated for their injuries

Police obtained judicial authorization to identify a Young Person. The judicial authorization will expire on Tuesday, October 13, 2020, at 6 p.m.

Police have identified Juray Dixon, 17, as a suspect involved in both shootings. A warrant for his arrest has been obtained by police for his involvement in these shootings.

Juray Dixon is also now suspected of being involved in a series of shootings on Thursday, September 24, 2020.

His photo has been released.

Police are appealing for information from the public that may lead to his arrest.

There are others involved in these shooting who have not yet been identified and these remain active investigations.

Juray Dixon, is believed to be armed and dangerous, do not approach. If seen call 9-1-1 immediately.

James Frederick Whitworth, 68, was last seen on Friday, October 9, 2020, at approximately 8:30 p.m., in the Broadview Avenue and Gerrard Street East area.

He is described as 5’10", medium build, with shoulder length grey hair.

He was last seen wearing a blue mask, grey hat with a red emblem on the front, black t-shirt with white writing, and dark blue and white pajama pants.

Police are concerned for his safety.

Mischief to Religious Property Investigation, 354 St. Clair Avenue West, Image Released

The Toronto Police Service is seeking the public's assistance in a mischief to religious property investigation.

On Wednesday, September 23, 2020, at approximately 10 p.m., officers commenced an investigation at Holy Rosary Parish Church located at 354 St. Clair Avenue West area.

It is reported:

- On Wednesday, September 23, 2020, at approximately 7:40 p.m., on the grounds of Holy Rosary Parish Church, a statue of Mother Mary was damaged

- the face and hands of the statue were damaged.

The suspect is described as 5'8" - 5'9", average build, between 50 and 60 years old. He was wearing a dark reflective strip top, dark pants, a baseball cap with "A" logo, and work boots. He was carrying a large duffle bag with wheels on it.

Security camera images of the suspect have been released.

Investigators are appealing for witnesses to come forward and speak to police.

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an arrest made in a Break and Enter Investigation.

It is alleged that:

- between the dates of Thursday, June 25, 2020, to Saturday, August 1, 2020, a man broke into various apartment buildings in the Woodbine Avenue And Queen Street East area

- the man then broke into numerous vehicles in the parking garage of the apartment buildings

On Saturday, October 10, 2020, police arrested a man.

Harris Omo, 32, of Toronto, has been charged with:

1. four counts of Break and Enter Commit
2. two counts of Possession Break-In
3. three counts of Possession Of Property Obtained By Crime Over $5000.00
4. Possession of Property Obtained By Crime Under $5000.00
5. Theft Over $5000.00
6. two counts of Theft Under $5000.00
7. four counts of Mischief To Property Under $5000.00
8. Dangerous Operation Of a Conveyance
9. Assault With a Weapon
10. five counts of Fail To Comply Release Order

He is scheduled to appear at Old City Hall on Sunday, October 11, 2020, at 10 a.m.

The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance locating a man wanted in a Criminal Harassment investigation.

It is reported that:

On Wednesday, October 7, 2020, police began a Criminal Harassment investigation in the area of Greenwood Avenue and Gerrard Street East.

- a man met a woman and had a social encounter

- the man would be seen numerous times at the woman’s address and workplace

- the man changed his appearance to hide his identity

- the man caused the woman to be concerned for her safety

Alexander Murrell, 29, of Toronto, is wanted for:

1. two counts of criminal harassment
2. Public Mischief
3. three counts of Fail to Comply Probation

He is described as 6,0", 230 lbs., green/blue eyes, shaved head, and no facial hair. May be using the name Jeff Hall.

On Sunday, October 11, 2020, police began an investigation into a sexual assault that took place at Taylor Creek Park, located at 260 Dawes Road.

It is reported that:

- on Sunday, October 11, 2020, at about 7:40 p.m., a man sexually assaulted a woman in the park before fleeing the area.


He is described as having a dark complexion with black curly hair. He was wearing black-rimmed glasses and a surgical mask.
