The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public's assistance locating a missing girl.

Megan Ally, 17, was last seen on Thursday, March 19, 2020, at 3 p.m., in the Sheppard Avenue and Keele Street area.

She is described as 5'5", 110 lbs., with long straight black hair, and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing her prescription glasses, blue spring jacket, white Adidas runners with blue stripes on the sides.

Police are concerned for her safety.

Abie Hanson, 59, was last seen on Friday, March 20, 2020, at approximately 10:30 a.m., in the Bayview Avenue and Finch Avenue East area.

He is described as 6’0", 170 lbs., with short brown hair. He was last seen wearing a tan coloured pea coat, dark blue 'Adidas' sweat pants with three white stripes down both pant legs, orange v-neck cardigan, and black loafers.

Police are concerned for his safety.

Bihshta Labib, 37, was last seen on Saturday, March 21, 2020, at 7:41 a.m., in the Roywood Drive and Underpass Gate area.

She is described as 5'3”, with an average build, and brown hair. She was last seen wearing a ¾ black jacket with fur hood, dark toque, black long-sleeve shirt, black pants, and black and purple running shoes.

Police are concerned for her safety.

Man sought in Robbery Investigation, (Identified- do not release) Albion Road and Shendale Drive, Security camera images released

The Toronto Police Service requesting the public’s assistance identifying a man as part of a robbery investigation.

On Thursday, March 19, 2020, at approximately 12:20 p.mm., officers responded to a call for a robbery in the Albion Road and Shendale Drive area.

It is reported that:

- a 75-year-old woman was sitting in a bus shelter waiting for the bus

- she was approached by a man armed with a stick

- he demanded her purse

- a struggled ensued and the man struck the woman with the stick

- the woman attempted to flee but was pursued by the man

- he ripped her purse away causing her to fall to the pavement

- he then fled the area

He is described as 19-21, approximately 5’9", 180 lbs., with short black hair. He was wearing a white hoody, black pants, and black shoes.

Security camera images have been released.

Homicide #13/2020, Theepa Seevaratnam, 38, Brimley Road and Pitfield Road area

On Friday, March 13, 2020, at 9:55 a.m., police responded to a call for an Unknown Trouble in the Brimley Road and Pitfield Road area.

It is reported that:

- upon arrival, officers located two women suffering from gunshot wounds

Both women were taken to a local trauma centre. One woman was pronounced deceased. The other woman is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

The deceased has been identified as Theepa Seevaratnam, 38, of Toronto.

An autopsy was conducted on Saturday, March 14, 2020, and the cause of death was determined to be a gunshot wound to the chest.

A suspect has been described as male, black, 5’8” to 6’, with a medium build, short hair, wearing light pants and a dark jacket.

Homicide #16/2020, O'Keefe Lane and Gould Street

On Saturday, March 21, 2020, at 7:41 p.m., officers responded to a call for the sound of gunshots at O'Keefe Lane and Gould Street.

It is reported that:

- officers located a man suffering from gunshot wounds

- the man was rushed to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased

A post-mortem examination was conducted on Sunday, March 22, 2020.

There are a number of businesses that have security camera video of the area. Investigators urge anyone with security footage, dashcam video, or any information concerning this incident, to contact police.

Man Arrested in Retail Robbery Investigation, Jane Street and Lawrence Avenue West area

The Toronto Police Service Hold Up Squad would like to make the public aware of an arrest in a retail robbery investigation in the Jane Street and Lawrence Avenue West area.

It is alleged that:

- on Friday, March 20, 2020, a man entered a store and made multiple customer purchase inquiries

- the man then stated that he had a gun and made a demand for cash

- the man took cash from the register and then fled on foot

Hold Up Squad identified a suspect as part of the investigation and carried out two search warrants.

It is further alleged that:

- an airsoft pistol was seized


On Friday, March 20, 2020, Bennet Tagoe, 26, of Toronto was arrested. He was charged with:

1. Robbery with a Firearm

He appeared in court at 2201 Finch Avenue West, on Saturday, March 21, 2020, at 10 a.m., in court room 101.

Stabbing investigation, King Street West and Spadina Avenue area, Update, Video of suspect vehicle released

The Toronto Police Service continues to seek the public's assistance with a stabbing investigation.

It is reported that:

- on Friday, March 6, 2020, at 2:26 a.m., two men were leaving a restaurant in the King Street West and Spadina Avenue area

Investigators have retrieved security camera video of a car believed to have been used in the suspects' escape. It is believed to be a 2018-2019 dark coloured Jeep Cherokee.

An image of the type of car has also been released.

Series of Commercial Break and Enters, Burnhamthorpe Road between The West Mall and Mill Road area, Security camera images released

The Toronto Police Service is seeking the public's assistance identifying a suspect in a series of nine commercial break and enters.

It is reported that:

- on Tuesday, March 24, 2020, between 3:30 a.m. and 4:40 a.m., numerous stores had front doors and windows smashed in the area of Burnhamthorpe Road between The West Mall and Mill Road.

- an unknown man entered, located the cash register and fled

It is also believed the same man damaged several vehicles along the path he travelled, slashing tires and taking property from inside the vehicles.

The man is described as white, skinny, approximately 6'1", 180-210 lbs., and possible had a moustache. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie with a zipper on the front, navy track pants and grey shoes.

Missing man located, Scarborough Golf Club Road and Ellesmere Road area, Christopher Perry, 34

Fatal Collision on Private Property #2/2020, Richview Road and Scarlett Road area

On Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at approximately 5:15 p.m., police received a report of a collision in the parking area of an apartment building in the Richview Road and Scarlett Road area.

It is reported that:

- a 25-year-old man, who was driving a dark coloured 2009 Pontiac Torrent, was out-front of the entrance to the apartment building waiting to pick up someone

- at the same time, a 2-year-old boy and his mother exited the building

- the person the driver was waiting for exited through the same door and got into the waiting vehicle

- the 25-year-old man reversed the vehicle and struck the toddler

- the boy was taken to hospital and later succumbed to his injuries

Police are asking local residents, businesses, and drivers, who may have security or dash camera footage of the area or incident, to contact investigators.
