Arrest made in drug investigation, Firearm seized

The Toronto Police Service would like to inform the public of an arrest made, and a firearm seized, in a drug investigation.

On Monday, November 5, 2018, officers executed a Controlled Drugs and Substance Act search warrant at an address in the Rogers Road and Weston Road area.

During the warrant, it is alleged that the following items were seized:

- a loaded Smith and Wesson 9mm pistol
- 21 rounds of various calibres
- 238.7 grams of cocaine
- 52.98 grams of 'crack' cocaine
- 8.92 grams of heroin
- $3,956 in proceeds of crime

Abel Abdo, 26, of Toronto, has been charged with:

1. Possession of a Prohibited Firearm with Ammunition
2. Unauthorized Possession of Firearm
3. Possession Firearm Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized
4. Possession of Firearm Obtained by Commission of Offence
5. Carry Concealed Weapon
6. Tamper/Deface Firearm Serial Number
7. Possession of Schedule I Substance
8. Possession of Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
9. Possession Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000
10. Fail to Comply with Probation Order
11. Fail to Comply with Recognizance
12. Breach of Prohibition Order

Gianluca Salvati, 24, of Toronto, has been charged with:

1. Possess of Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
2. Possess of Proceeds Obtained by Crime Not Exceeding $5000
3. Two counts of Fail to Comply with Recognizance
4. Three counts of Fail to Comply with Probation Order

Neishak Clarke, 20, of Toronto, has been charged with:

1. Possess of Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
2. Possess of Proceeds Obtained by Crime not Exceeding $5000
3. Fail to Comply with Probation Order

They all appeared in court at Old City Hall on Tuesday, November 6, 2018, at 10 a.m., in room 101.

Missing man, Sudbury, Ontario, Jacob Trudeau, 42

The Toronto Police Service requests the public's assistance locating a missing man.

Jacob Trudeau, 42, was reported to be travelling to Toronto, from Sudbury, to attend some appointments, on Tuesday, October 30, 2018.

He is described as 6'0", 240 lbs., with a heavy build, and long red hair in a ponytail. He was wearing a black baseball cap with the words 'I Love Jesus' written on the side.

Police are concerned for his safety.

Aifuwa Iserhienrhien, 21, was last seen on Wednesday, November 7, 2018, at noon, in the Driftwood Avenue and Yorkwoods Gate area.

He is described as 5’8”, 170 lbs., with a medium build, and short black hair. He was wearing a light blue dress shirt, brown pants and brown shoes.

Police are concerned for his safety.

On Thursday, November 8, 2018, at 11:30 a.m., Toronto Crime Stoppers will officially launch their 2019 Calendar – "A Tribute to Toronto Police Dog Services" at the Circle K Store located at 2200 Martin Grove Road.

This latest Toronto Crime Stoppers fundraising initiative will have the support of A/Superintendent David Rydzik of the Community Partnerships and Engagement Unit and other members of the Toronto Police Service, who will be on hand to purchase the first copies of the calendar.

Circle K Stores have partnered with Toronto Crime Stoppers to lend their support behind this fundraiser and provide members of the community the opportunity to purchase the calendar at any one of their locations within the city of Toronto.

The rewards paid by Crime Stoppers are not financed through tax dollars; but rather through individual support, corporate support and through fund raising initiatives like this.

By purchasing the 2019 calendar, citizens will be making a significant contribution to the future success of Crime Stoppers to ensure the safety of their community.

Firearms investigation, Kipling Avenue and Dixon Road area, Two men arrested

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an arrest made in a Firearms Investigation.

On Tuesday, November 6, 2018, officers executed a search warrant in a residence in the Kipling Avenue and Dixon Road area.

It is alleged that:

- a loaded 9mm Taurus G2C firearm was seized

Abdiaziz Mohamed Abdi, 24, of Toronto, is charged with:

1. Possess Prohibited/Restricted Firearm Without a Licence
2. Possess Loaded Firearm
3. Possess Firearm Obtained by Crime
4. Store Firearm Carelessly
5. Possess Weapon Dangerous to Public Peace
6. Two counts of Possess Firearm While Prohibited
7. Two counts of Possess Ammunition While Prohibited
8. Two counts of Breach of Probation

Ibrahim Mohamed Abdi, 29, of Toronto, is charged with:

1. Possess Prohibited/Restricted Firearm Without a Licence
2. Possess Loaded Firearm
3. Possess Firearm Obtained by Crime
4. Store Firearm Carelessly
5. Possess Weapon Dangerous to Public Peace

They appeared in court at 2201 Finch Avenue West on Wednesday, November 7, 2018, at 10 a.m., in room 204.

Public Safety Alert, Water heater scam targeting the elderly

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of a theft investigation that is targeting two senior citizens.

It is reported that:

- on Sunday, November 4, 2018, a resident who lives in the area of Brimley Road and McNicoll Avenue received a telephone call from a man advising that her water heater needed to be inspected

- the man stated that if she did not have her water heater inspected, she would be fined $1,000 by the Province of Ontario

- arrangements were made for the man to attend her residence on Monday, November 5, 2018, to inspect her water heater

- on Monday, November 5, 2018 at 4 p.m., two men attended the residence to inspect the water heater

- the two men went to the basement and checked the water heater, replaced a furnace filter and then went upstairs

- one of the men advised that he had to check the attic and went into the attic

- the man then advised he needed to check second floor and he went upstairs alone

- the two men then left the home and offered to return the next day to place more insulation in the attic

- after the men left, the resident discovered that the money kept in the house was taken


The Toronto Police Service urges homeowners to exercise caution when dealing with people who solicit business by phone or door-to-door in neighbourhoods. The public is reminded that in commercial transactions they should always verify the identity of a person or business before deciding to trust that person or business and invite them into their home.

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of a Sexual Assault and Indecent Acts investigations all in the Spadina Avenue and College Street area.

Security camera images have been released.

It was reported that:

- on Tuesday, October 23, 2018, at 3:20 p.m., a 39-year-old woman was walking on Phoebe Street and Huron Street

- a man grabbed her and sexually assaulted her

- she was able to escape and contacted police


The man is described as white, thin build, brown unshaven beard, short brown hair, and receding hairline. He was wearing a purple hoodie or jacket with hood, white shirt underneath, dark pants and dark running shoes.

Shooting investigation, Jane Street and Steeles Avenue West area, Three males wanted

The Toronto Police Service requests the public's assistance with a shooting investigation.

It is reported that:

- on Sunday, June 10, 2018, at 3:30 a.m., a group of people were in a parking lot in the Jane Street and Steeles Avenue West area

- at approximately 3:55 a.m., three masked males confronted the group

- the males had firearms and made a demand for cash and property

- they held all three at gunpoint and went through their pockets

- one of the males approached a 29-year-old man and struck him in the face with a firearm, causing the firearm to discharge

- he fell to the ground between two parked vehicles

- the three males approached him, stood over top of him and discharged multiple rounds from three separate firearms, striking him numerous times

All three males fled the area on foot.

Suspect #1 is described as unknown race and age, 5'10-6'0", with a thin build. His face was covered with a light-coloured fabric and he wore a grey baseball hat, a light blue zipper jacket, light blue jeans, and black shoes.

Suspect #2 is described as unknown race and age, 5'10"-6'0", with a medium build. His face was covered and he wore a black hoodie with the hood up, grey track pants, and black shoes.

Suspect #3 is described as unknown race and age, 5'11"-6'1", with a thin build. His face was covered and he wore a dark blue hoodie with the hood up, black pants, and black shoes.

He is described as 5’9”-6’0", 185-195 lbs., with receding salt and pepper hair. He wears black-framed prescription glasses. He was last seen wearing a black winter coat with a blue shirt, black shoes, and pants.

Shooting investigation, John Garland Boulevard and Martin Grove Road area, Two males wanted

The Toronto Police Service requests the public's assistance with a shooting investigation.

It is reported that:

- on Thursday, August 30, 2018, at 11:20 p.m., a group of people were in front of a residence in the John Garland Boulevard and Martin Grove Road area

- two unknown males approach the group, both holding firearms

- a then 20-year-old man was shot and sustained non-life-threatening injuries

The suspects fled the area on foot towards Finch Avenue West.

Suspect #1 is described as having a skinny build and he was wearing a white hoodie and beige pants.

Suspect #2 is described as wearing dark clothes.

The vehicle is described as a dark-coloured small 4-door sedan.

Shooting investigation, Jamestown Crescent and John Garland Boulevard area, Two suspects wanted

The Toronto Police Service requests the public's assistance with a shooting investigation.

It is reported that:

- on Tuesday, October 30, 2018, at 7:02 p.m., a group of people were walking in the Jamestown Crescent and John Garland Boulevard area

- two suspects, with masks over the faces, approached the group from behind

- both suspects were armed with firearms and began shooting at the group of people

- a 41-year-old man and a 44-year-old man received gunshot wounds

Suspect #1 is described as male, 6'0", with a skinny build. He was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt with a logo on the front, black trackpants with white stripes on the sides, black shoes and a baseball hat.

There is no description of the second suspect at this time.

He is described as 5’10", 175 lbs., with a medium build, brown eyes, and black hair. He was last seen wearing black-rimmed glasses, a black wind-breaker jacket, a blue Maple Leafs baseball hat, a black shirt, dark grey trackpants, and black shoes.

Child Sexual Abuse Images investigation, Christopher Pulleyn, 43, Faces 13 charges

On Wednesday, November 7, 2018, members of the Toronto Police Service Child Exploitation Section executed a search warrant in the Burnhamthorpe Road West and Hurontario Street area of Mississauga.

It is alleged that:

- from April 2010 to December 2013, a man sexually abused numerous children

- the man took sexually explicit pictures and videos of the children

- the man made sexually explicit images available to the children

Christopher Pulleyn, 43, of Mississauga, has been arrested and charged with:

1. Two counts of Invitation to Sexual Touching
2. Four counts of Sexual Assault
3. Four counts of Sexual Interference
4. Make Sexually Explicit Material Available to a Child
5. Make Child Pornography
6. Make Available Child Pornography

He is scheduled to appear at 60 Queen Street West, on Thursday, December 6, 2018, 10 a.m., room J.


Police believe that he frequented the rave party scene and may have had contact with people across the province of Ontario. Police are concerned there may be more victims.
