The Toronto Police Service is requesting assistance locating a missing man.

Robert Anderson, 51, was last seen Tuesday , July 31, 2018, at 11:15 a.m., in the Unwin Avenue and Leslie Street area.

He is driving a white Chevrolet Camaro bearing Ontario plates CAKD926.

He is described as 5’6”, 200 lbs., with brown hair. There is no clothing description at this time.

Police are concerned for his safety.

The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance locating a missing man.

Kidogbua John Sindani, 21, was last seen in May 2016, in the Sentinel Road and Finch Avenue West area.

Investigators have received new information that the missing man may have ties to Oakville and Hamilton, Ontario.

Police are concerned for his safety.

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of a quantity of lost medication.

It is reported that:

- on Friday, July 13, 2018, at p.m., a quantity of Dilaudid and Adavan was lost or stolen in the area of Birchmount Road and St. Clair Ave East.

The pills or capsules could be harmful/fatal if ingested, especially to children.

Jennifer Lastiwka, 37, was last seen on Monday, July 30, 2018, at 11 a.m. in the Roncesvalles Avenue and Queen Street West area.

She is described as approximately 5’3”, 125 lbs., with shoulder-length blonde hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a dark blue denim skirt, black tank top, black flip flops and carrying a black and white checkered duffel bag.

Police are concerned for her safety.

Missing man, Portland Street and Richmond Street West, Anthony Siciliano, 18

The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance locating a missing man.

Anthony Siciliano, 18, was last seen on Monday, July 30, 2018, at approximately 1 p.m., in the Portland Street and Richmond Street West area.

He is described as 5'10", medium build, approximately 154 lbs., with short dark brown hair, and wears glasses with dark frames. He was last seen wearing a dark blue t-shirt, blue jeans, black and white running shoes and a grey, black and orange backpack.

He speaks limited English. He is visiting Toronto from Italy.

Police are concerned for his safety.

Public Safety Alert, Renforth Drive and Burnhamthorpe Road, Prowler and Reported Sexual Assault

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an ongoing sexual assault investigation.

On Tuesday, July 31, 2018, it was reported to police that:

- on Saturday, July 28, 2018, between 11 p.m. and midnight, a man entered a home in the area of Renforth Drive and Burnhamthorpe Road

- he sexually assaulted a child

- he fled the scene in an unknown direction

It is further reported that:

- on Sunday, July 29, 2018, at approximately 11 p.m., a man was seen prowling in the backyard of the same home

The man is described as white, in his late 20's to 30's,approximately 5'8' to 5"9", with short dark hair, and wearing a dark jacket.

Police launched an investigation, including a canvas of the area.

As a result of these efforts, investigators learned of other suspicious incidents which include prowling on personal property, indecent acts, and/or exposures. These other incidents occurred in the area bordered by Rathburn Road, The West Mall, Bloor Street West and Renforth Drive.

Although these other incidents are of great concern to the police, we have no evidence to link them with the reported sexual assault at this time.

However, the investigation continues with witness interviews and additional canvasses of the neighbourhood.

Officers are asking anyone with home or business security cameras to review the content between Saturday, July 28 and Monday, July 30, 2018 and contact police if there are any images that could assist with this investigation.

Community members in this area are asked to be vigilant and come forward with any information about incidents, past or present, involving suspicious behaviour.

Search warrant executed in 31 Division, Firearm, Ammunition and Controlled Substances Seized, Additional charges

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of further charges resulting from a search warrant executed on a seized motor vehicle from a previous firearm investigation arrest.

See previous release.

It is alleged that :

- the search revealed a GSG 1911 .22 LR HV, Semi-Automatic Rim Fire Pistol, with 8 rounds of .22LR ammunition

- a quantity of cocaine and marihuana was also located

Inderpaul Flora, 39 of Toronto is further charged with:

1) Possession of a firearm knowing it's possession is unauthorized
2) Carless storage of a firearm
3) Carless storage of ammunition
4) Carless storage of a prohibited device
5) Unauthorized possession of a firearm in a motor vehicle
6) Possession of a firearm knowing it's serial number has been tampered with
7) Possession of a loaded firearm
8) Possession of a firearm obtained by crime
9) Possess Schedule I substance for trafficking
10) Possess Schedule II substance for trafficking
11) Possession of a firearm contrary to prohibition order
12) Possession of a ammunition contrary to prohibition order
13) Possession of a prohibited device contrary to prohibition order

The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance locating a missing man.

Tayeb Wahidi, 25, was last seen on Wednesday, August 1, 2018, at approximately 11:30 p.m., in the area of Lawrence Avenue East and Danforth Road.

He is described as 5’9", 150 lbs, with a thin build, black hair, and a full beard. There is no clothing description at this time.

He is believed to be driving a 2013, red Mazda 3 Hatchback, with Ontario licence plates 277 SMA.

Police are concerned for his safety.

Project Switch results in six arrests, 25 firearms and more than 60 kilograms of illicit drugs

In February 2018, members of the Toronto Police Organized Crime Enforcement – Toronto Drug Squad started an investigation into an illicit drug distribution network operating in Toronto and the surrounding area.

It is alleged that:

- two groups were receiving cocaine and heroin that was being imported into the Greater Toronto Area from the United States

On June 25, 2018, with the assistance of the Toronto Police Asian Organized Crime Task Force and law enforcement partners from the RCMP, CBSA, OPP, York Region, and Peel Region, five people were arrested.

Lorenzo Lam, 25, has been charged with:

1. Traffic in Schedule I Substance
2. Two counts of Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purposes of Trafficking

He is next scheduled to appear in court on August 10, 2018, at Old City Hall, in Room 123.


David Littledale, 35, has been charged with:

1. Traffic in Schedule I Substance Section
2. Two counts of Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purposes of Trafficking

He is next scheduled to appear in court on August 31, 2018, at Old City Hall, in Room 114.


Trung Duc Pham, 31, has been charged with:

1. Possession of Proceeds of Crime

He is next scheduled to appear in court on August 18, 2018, at Old City Hall, in Room 123.


Quynh Vu, 33, has been charged with:

1. Possession of Proceeds of Crime
2. Two counts of Produce a Schedule II Substance Section
3. Two counts of Possession of a Schedule II Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking

He is next scheduled to appear in court on August 14, 2018, at Old City Hall, in Room 114.


On Tuesday, July 17, 2018, after further investigation, two more people were arrested.

Duc Hoang, 34, and Myleene Kavalak, 33, have both been charged with:

1. Four counts of Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
2. Four counts of Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
3. Four counts of Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
4. Two counts of Possession of Proceeds of Crime Over $5000.00
5. Five counts of Careless Storage of a Firearm
6. Three counts of Careless Storage of Ammunition
7. Two counts of Traffic in Schedule 1 Substance

Duc Hoang is next scheduled to appear in court on August 28, 2018, at Old City Hall, in Room 114. Myleene Kavalak is next scheduled to appear in court on September 10, 2018, at Old City Hall, in Room 114.

The Toronto Police would like assistance locating Joevannie Peart, 34. He is wanted in connection to this investigation. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is encouraged to contact police.

Throughout the investigation, 11 search warrants were executed in Toronto, Holland Landing, Mississauga, Concord, and Woodbridge, resulting in the following seizures:

- 52 kilograms of Cocaine
- 7.4 kilograms of Heroin
- 3 kilograms of MDMA
- 43 kilograms of cutting agents
- 9 kilograms of Phenacetin
- 2.5 kilograms of Hashish Oil
- More than $287,000 in Canadian currency
- Nine vehicles
- Nine handguns, 16 rifles, and 2 cross bows
- One house, valued at more than $1.3 million

Federal inmate wanted, Jack Goneau, 49

The Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement Squad (R.O.P.E.) is requesting the public’s assistance locating a federal offender wanted on a Canada-Wide Warrant as result of breaching parole.

Jack Goneau, 49, is described as 5’11”, 148 lbs., with blue eyes, and a shaved head. He has tattoos of an eagle, a heart, and the name “CHRISTIE” on his shoulders.

He is currently serving a three-year, nine-month sentence for Possession of a Narcotic for the Purpose Of Trafficking and Possession of Property Obtained By Crime.

The offender is known to frequent the cities of Peterborough, Lindsay and the Kawartha Lakes area.

Fail-to-remain personal injury collision #28/2018, Keele Street and Finch Avenue West, Driver and vehicle sought, Images of vehicle released

On Sunday, July 29, 2018, at 3:30 a.m., police responded to a call for a personal injury collision at Keele Street and Finch Avenue West.

Investigators are asking for the public's assistance locating the driver and vehicle involved in the collision. The vehicle is described as a dark-coloured sport utility vehicle, and may have front end damage as a result of the collision.

Police are asking anyone who may have dash camera or security camera footage of the area or collision to contact police.

Toronto Police Service Launches New Online Application Process for Memorial Wall

Today, the Toronto Police Service announced that, as a result of a settlement with the Ontario Human Rights Commission, a new procedure has been created relating to the Memorial Wall honouring fallen officers.

Since the settlement was signed in April 2017, the Service, in consultation with the Commission, has been working to finalize a procedure by which any member, including those who have lost their lives because of mental health injuries, may be eligible for recognition on the Memorial Wall.

The new procedure and online application form were published today on the Service’s website and can be here.

The process creates an opportunity for the Service to respectfully recognize those who have died, regardless of cause of death, by appropriately commemorating those who, through their actions, demonstrated the noble qualities of policing and inspired those who continue to serve.

Man wanted in Sexual Assault investigation, Bathurst Street and Dupont Street area, Image of wanted man released

The Toronto Police Service requests assistance identifying and locating a man wanted in a Sexual Assault investigation.

It is reported that:

- on Wednesday, August 1, 2018, at approximately 5:45 p.m., a 25-year-old woman boarded a northbound TTC bus in the Bathurst Street and Dupont Street area

- the woman walked past a man on the bus and was sexually assaulted

The man is described as 5’7”, heavy build, 50, dark receding hair, wearing black polo shirt, grey sweatpants.

An image of the man has been released.
