Amerie Daniel, 27, was last seen on Tuesday, January 30, 2018, at 10:30 a.m., in the Jane Street and Finch Avenue West area.

She is described as 5'7", long straight hair possibly in a weave, 180 lbs. She is known to have numerous tattoos on both arms. There is no clothing description.

Sian Barham, 16, was last seen on Tuesday, January 23, 2018, at 4:20 p.m., in the Midland Avenue and Finch Avenue East area.

She is described as 5'8", 125 lbs., medium length black hair often worn up in a bun. She was last seen wearing a black jacket, black jeans, black-and-white low-cut Vans running shoes, carrying a black leather purse.

Police request assistance identifying four men in robbery investigation, Duncan Street and Pearl Street area, Security camera images of men released

The Toronto Police Service requests assistance identifying four men sought in a robbery investigation.

On Friday, December 29, 2017, at 2 a.m., officers responded to a call for a robbery in the Duncan Street and Pearl Street area.

It is reported that:

- a 20-year-old man was leaving a bar

- he was approached by a man

- the man grabbed the 20-year-old man's jewelry, removing it from his neck

- the man was assisted by three other men who distracted the 20-year-old man

Security camera images of the four male suspects are released.

The Toronto Police Service would like to thank the public for their assistance locating a missing woman.

Catherine Rath, 66, was last seen on Sunday, December 24, 2017, in the downtown core area.

Homicide #5/2018, Yonge Street, just south of Wellesly Street, Simon Zerezghi, 25

The Toronto Police Service is seeking assistance with a Homicide investigation.

On Monday, January 29, 2018, at 8:11 p.m., police responded to a radio call for a stabbing in the Yonge Street, just south of Wellesly Street area.

It is reported that:

- multiple men were chasing a man northbound on Yonge Street

- the man was stabbed in the chest

Police arrived on scene and located the man. He was taken to hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced.

He has been identified as Simon Zerezghi, 25, of no fixed address.

Homicide investigators are appealing to witnesses who were on Yonge Street or anyone with cell phone video of the altercation and/or stabbing, to contact police or Crime Stoppers.

Numerous witnesses have contacted Homicide investigators and have been very helpful with this investigation.

Man, 56, faces 15 charges in firearm investigation, Eglinton Avenue West and Kipling Avenue area

Toronto Police Service officers began an investigation in January 2018 into a man who allegedly was in possession of an illegal firearm.

On Wednesday, January 24, 2018, at 9:47 a.m., the Toronto Police Service executed a Criminal Code search warrant in the Eglinton Avenue West and Kipling Avenue area.

It is alleged that:

- officers located a large quantity of firearms and ammunition

- 25 handguns and 46 rifles/shotguns were seized along with approximately 10,000 rounds of ammunition

- officers located four illegal firearms, with one of the firearms having been stolen from a Break-and-Enter in York Region in early January 2018.

Leone Bruno, 56, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with:

1) four counts of Possess unauthorized firearm
2) four counts of Possess restricted or prohibited firearm knowingly not holding a licence and registration certificate
3) four counts of Possess firearm obtained by crime
4) Possess firearm with altered serial number
5) Store ammunition carelessly
6) Store firearm carelessly

He was scheduled to appear in court at 2201 Finch Avenue West, on Wednesday, January 31, 2018, 10 a.m., room 207.

Police seek assistance with stolen jewelry investigation, Richmond Street West and York Street area, Security camera video released

The Toronto Police Service is seeking assistance with a stolen jewelry investigation:

It is reported that:

- on Monday, January 22, 2018, a man dressed in construction clothing broke into a jewelry store near Richmond Street West and York Street

- several pieces of jewelry, with an estimated value over $150,000, were stolen

- the man was observed walking westbound on Adelaide Street at approximately 8:20 p.m. that night

Police request assistance identifying woman in Theft from Vehicle investigation, Parking lot at 3280 Dufferin Street

The Toronto Police Service requests assistance identifying a woman wanted in a Theft from Vehicle investigation.

On Thursday, October 26, 2017, in the evening, officers began an investigation into a theft from a vehicle in the parking lot at 3280 Dufferin Street.

It is reported that:

- a car was parked in the lot

- a man and woman broke into the car, stealing an Apple laptop computer

- the laptop computer had just been purchased

- the same woman returned the computer to the store

She is described as having long brown hair, 3/4-length jacket, tight jeans, black running shoes with white bottoms.

Man wanted in home invasion robbery and shooting, The Queensway and Windermere Avenue area, Mark Anthony Stephenson, 23, aka Anthony Bennet, Photographs of man released

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of a man wanted in a home invasion investigation.

It is alleged that:

- on Monday, March 27, 2017, police were called to a condominium building for a shooting in The Queensway and Windermere Avenue area

- officers arrived on scene and located two men, 27 and 23, in the apartment

- both men were in the apartment when a man carrying a clipboard knocked on the door

- the man advised he had to inspect the apartment for ventilation

- the man produced a handgun and forced his way inside the apartment

- the man duct-taped the two men and placed them in the washroom while he searched the apartment

- the man made several demands for money

- while the man was searching the apartment, one of the men managed to free himself from the duct tape and rushed the man

- a violent struggle ensued

- the man fired the handgun at the man attempting to escape

- it grazed the man's head and struck him in the left hip

- the man with the gun fled the apartment and escaped

Mark Anthony Stephenson, 23 of Toronto, aka Anthony Bennet is wanted on a Canada Wide Warrant for:

1) two counts of Robbery while armed with a Firearm
2) two counts of Forcible Confinement
3) Assault with a Weapon
4) Assault Causing Bodily Harm
5) Discharge Firearm Endanger Life
6) Possession of a Loaded Firearm
7) Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
8) Possession of a Firearm Knowing its Unauthorized
9) Carry Concealed Weapon
10) Possession of a Firearm While Prohibited

Craig Levy, 31, wanted in Sexual Assault and Forcible Confinement investigation, Photographs of man released

The Toronto Police Service is requesting assistance locating a man wanted in a Sexual Assault and Forcible Confinement investigation.

On Saturday, January 27, 2018, police began an investigation into a Sexual Assault in the Finch Avenue East and Markham Road area.

It is alleged that:

- a man met a 25-year-old woman through an online dating website

- the two arranged to meet

- the man and woman met and the man sexually assaulted the woman

A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Craig Levy, 31, of Toronto. He is wanted for:

1) Sexual Assault
2) Forcible Confinement

He is described as 6'0", muscular build, shaved head, full beard. He is known to use "Dante" as his online alias.

Robberies with a weapon, Finch Avenue East and McCowan Road area, Two men wanted

The Toronto Police Service requests assistance identifying two men wanted in robberies with a weapon investigation in the Finch Avenue East and McCowan Road area.

It is reported that:

- on Thursday, January 18, 2018, at 5:05 p.m., a man, 81, and a woman, 75, attended a bank

- they withdrew a quantity of cash and walked home

- they were approached by two men, one of whom was armed with a firearm

- the two suspects robbed them of cash

- the two suspects ran away southbound on Brimwood Boulevard


It is further reported that:

- on Thursday, January 18, 2018, at 6 p.m., a woman, 46, attended a bank at Kennedy Road and Steeles Avenue East

- she withdrew a quantity of cash

- she was approached by two men

- one of them was armed with a handgun

- she was robbed of a quantity of cash

- the men fled on foot on Becca Hall Trail

The first suspect is described as black, 20-30, black shirt, black jacket, black pants.

The second suspect is described as black, 20-30, black shirt, black jacket, black pants.

The firearm is described as a small black handgun.

The two suspects are believed to be armed and dangerous. If located, do not approach. Call 9-1-1 immediately.
