Man Arrested in Child Luring Investigation, Adam Collier, 35, Faces Five Charges

On Thursday, June 29, 2017, as part of an investigation into the luring of a child under 16, members of the Toronto Police Service Child Exploitation Section executed a Criminal Code search warrant in the Spadina Avenue and Dundas Street West area.

Adam Collier, 35, of Toronto has been charged with:

1. Make available sexually explicit material to a person under 18 years
2. Luring a Child (Under 18)
3. Luring a Child (Under 16)
4. Attempt Make Child Pornography
5. Attempt Invitation to Sexual Touching

It is alleged that Adam Collier posted an ad on Craigslist using the email address of “justmylittlesecret4@gmail.com”.

He was scheduled to appear in court at 60 Queen Street West, courtroom 101, on Thursday, June 29, 2017 at 2 p.m.

Matthew Coss, 13, was last seen on Thursday, June 29, 2017, at 1:30 p.m., in the Yonge Street and Finch Avenue area.

He is described as 5’7”, stocky build, short brown hair, hazel eyes, last seen wearing white T-shirt with dark-blue horizontal stripes, dark-blue pants, carrying a black backpack with a pink-and-turquoise checkered pattern. He may also have a long skateboard with him.

Police are concerned for his safety.

He is described as 5’10", 180 lbs., short blonde hair, last seen wearing a black T-shirt with white writing, khaki pants and brown Topsider shoes.

Holiday on-street parking enforcement

Toronto Police Service Parking Enforcement will not be enforcing the following on-street parking bylaws during the Canada Day public holiday on Saturday July 1, 2017, and also on the observed Canada Day holiday on Monday July 3, 2017:

- Pay-and-Display/Metered Areas
- Rush-Hour Routes
- Posted signs indicating Monday-to-Friday regulations

All other areas and parking offences will continue to be enforced.

Kevan Anderson, 27, wanted in Robbery/Aggravated Assault investigation, Jones Avenue and Gerrard Street East area, Security camera image of man released

The Toronto Police Service requests assistance locating a man wanted in a Robbery/Aggravated Assault investigation.

On Monday, May 29, 2017, at 9 a.m., officers responded to a call for a stabbing in the Jones Avenue and Gerrard Street East area.

It is alleged that:

- a 25-year-old woman was walking down an alley

- she was followed by a man

- he confronted her, displaying a knife

- he slashed her, then fled the scene

- she was taken to hospital, treated and released

On Tuesday, June 13, 2017, at 7:50 p.m., officers responded to a call for a robbery in the Blake Street and Boultbee Avenue area.

It is alleged that:

- a 25-year-old-woman was walking with her daughter

- she was confronted by a man

- he punched, kicked, and choked her

- he stole a necklace she was wearing and other items

- he fled on a bicycle

- she was treated for her injuries and released

Kevan Anderson, 27, of Toronto, is wanted for these attacks. He is described as 5'9", average build, dark hair. He has a scar on his lip and a tattoo (RIP Dylan) on his arm.

He is believed to be armed, violent, and dangerous. If located, do not approach. Call 9-1-1 immediately.

His photograph is now released.

Daniel Pushie, 46, and Ariel Pushie, 11, were last seen on Thursday June 29, 2017, in the evening, in the Danforth Avenue and Warden Avenue area.

Daniel Pushie is described as 5’10”, 180 lbs., brown hair, brown eyes. Ariel Pushie is described as approximately 4'0", 80 lbs., long dark hair.

They are believed to have been travelling to the Gerrard Street East and Broadview Avenue area.

Police are concerned for their safety.

On Friday, June 30, 2017, at approximately 8 p.m., two bottles of Methadone and a quantity of Trazodone pills were lost in the Keele Street and Rogers Road area.

The medication could be harmful/fatal if ingested, especially to children

Assistance sought locating stolen service dog, Bloor Street West and Ossington Avenue area

On Sunday, July 2, 2017, at 2 a.m., officers responded to a call for a stolen dog in the Bloor Street West and Ossington Avenue area.

It is reported that:

- a 28-year-old woman secured her dog to a railing

- she entered a fast-food restaurant

- the dog was unclipped from the harness and taken

The dog, named Princess, is a six-year-old Teacup Chihuahua. She is described as 6 lbs., medium-brown hair with blonde stripes. She was wearing a pink body harness.

Princess is a registered service dog.

A photograph of Princess is released.

- once inside the institutions, the men remove property

- he was assaulted by the other man, losing consciousness briefly

The suspect is described as 5’10"-6’0", dark hair, wearing a dark v-neck T-shirt, jeans.

- on Tuesday, June 28, 2017, at approximately 1:05 a.m., two or three suspects discharged at least one firearm at a man, 19, in the Grange Court and Cameron Street area

- the man was not struck by any bullets

- the suspects were last seen running northbound on Spadina Avenue, from Grange Avenue .

The suspects were all men, wearing dark hoodies.

Homicide #23/2017, Regent Street and Cole Street, Lemard Champagnie, 30

On Sunday, July 2, 2017, at 9:12 p.m., officers responded to a call for a shooting in the Regent Street and Cole Street area.

Officers arrived to find a man with life-threatening injuries. He was taken to hospital via emergency run, where he was pronounced.

Suspects were seen fleeing the scene in a dark-coloured SUV.

The victim has been identified as Lemard Champagnie, 30, of Toronto.

A post-mortem examination has been scheduled for Tuesday, July 4, 2017, 11 a.m..
