Tasnim Al-Saleh, 20, was last seen on Wednesday, June 7, 2017, in the Peter Street/Richmond Street West area.

She is described as 5'9", approximately 200 lbs., with short, buzzed, brown hair

She was wearing dark pants and construction boots. She may be carrying a large black duffle bag or backpack.

Police are concerned for her safety.

Men wanted in Robbery with Firearm investigation, Gould Street/Church Street area, Security camera images of men now available

The Toronto Police Service is seeking assistance with a Robbery with Firearm investigation.

It is reported that:

- on Friday, June 9, 2017, a man was walking on Gould Street, towards Church Street

- when he felt he was being followed, he changed direction towards a more populated area

- three men in a group blocked his path and robbed the man of his necklace and earphones, assaulting him in the process

- when the man attempted to fight back, another man within the group displayed a firearm from his waistband

- the group then fled

The Toronto Police Service is seeking assistance with a series of Robberies.

It is reported that:

- on Sunday, May 28, 2017, two men approached people walking in the Homewood Avenue/Maitland Place area

On Monday, June 12, 2017, the two were identified as Young Persons. Their photographs, in a previous news release, have been removed and can no longer be published.

Investigators would like to thank the media and the public for their assistance.

The investigation remains ongoing.

Man wanted in Sexual Assault and Homicide investigation for offences in Toronto and Thunder Bay, Michael Cleghorn, 29, Photograph released

The Toronto Police Service, in conjunction with the Thunder Bay Police Service, is seeking assistance locating a man wanted on outstanding warrants for Sexual Assault and Second-Degree Murder.

It is alleged that:

- the suspect is wanted in Toronto for a 2014-2015 sexual assault involving a child

- he is also wanted in Thunder Bay for a 2017 murder

Michael Cleghorn, 29, of Toronto, is wanted for:

1) Sexual Assault
2) Sexual Interference
3) two counts of Indecent Exposure to a Person Under 16 years of age
4) two counts of uttering threats
5) Second-Degree Murder

His photograph is released.

If seen, do not approach, as he should be considered armed and dangerous. The public is encouraged to immediately contact 9-1-1 with any details.

Shooting investigation, Bay Mills Boulevard/Birchmount Road area, Two Persons of Interest sought

The Toronto Police Service is requesting assistance with a shooting investigation.

It is reported that:

- on Monday, June 12, 2017, an altercation started between several men in the Bay Mills Boulevard/Birchmount Road area

- during the altercation, two of the men were shot

- the men sustained non-life-threatening injuries

Two Persons of Interests were last seen running away westbound from the area. They are described as:

1) a man of unknown race, wearing a blue hoodie, blue jeans and dark shoes
2) a man of unknown race, wearing a baseball cap, dark Jordan hoodie and white shoes

The Toronto Police Service is requesting assistance locating a missing man.

Mohammad Eldardiry, 26, was last seen on Monday, Jun 12, 2017, at 11:39 a.m., in the Queen Street East and Jarvis Street area.

He is described as brown, with a lighter skin tone, 5'6", 130 lbs., slim build, with long, curly, black/brown hair, brown eyes, unshaven.

He was last seen wearing a blue/white, long-sleeved, plaid shirt, grey/black shorts. He is also wearing blue hospital hairnets in place of socks, and black shoes.

Police are concerned for his safety

It is reported that:

- during the evening hours of Saturday, June 10, 2017, a woman was walking in the Islington Avenue and Milady Road area

- a man approached her from behind and indicated that he had a weapon

- the man then sexually assaulted the woman

He is described as white, 5’10”, with short black hair, slight beard, wearing black jacket.

Public Safety Alert, Seven Robberies at bank ATMs, North Etobicoke area

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of seven Robberies in the North Etobicoke area, from Rexdale Boulevard to Steeles Avenue West.

It is reported that:

- in seven separate incidents, from May 2017 to June 2017, people using bank ATMs between midnight and 7 a.m. were approached by three male suspects

- the males robbed the victims of cash which had been withdrawn from the ATM

The suspects are described as three males, wearing masks to disguise their faces. All three were armed with knives.

The public, particularly residents in the north Etobicoke area, are asked to remain vigilant when attending any bank in the early-morning hours.

Assistance sought identifying man wanted in shooting investigation, Don Mills Road and Parkway Forest Drive area, Security camera images of man released

The Toronto Police Service is requesting assistance identifying a man wanted in a shooting investigation.

It is reported that:

- on Sunday, May 14, 2017, around 11 p.m., three men were in a vehicle travelling south on Don Mills Road, just south of Parkway Forest Drive

- at this point, occupants of a second vehicle fired several shots which struck the first vehicle and all three of its occupants

- the three men received non-life-threatening injuries

The suspect vehicle is described as a newer-model, white Dodge Caravan.

Investigators obtained security camera images of one of the suspects. The images are attached.

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an ongoing Sexual Assault investigation

It is reported that:

- on Tuesday, June 13, 2017, at 2 a.m., a 22-year-old woman was working in a building in the Front Street East/Jarvis Street area

- a man attempted to enter the building, which was closed to the public

- when the woman advised the man the building was closed, he attacked her

- he then sexually assaulted her

- the woman fought off the man, then he fled

The man is described as white, approximately 30, approximately 5'6", thin build, with brown curly hair. He was wearing a beige sweater, white shirt, blue pants and dark shoes.

On Wednesday, June 14, 2017, at 2:30 p.m., in the media gallery at headquarters, Homicide Detective Sergeant Joyce Schertzer will update the media on the investigation into Homicide #18/2017.

Police have recovered what they believe to be valuable evidence, including a firearm, in this investigation.

On Friday, April 21, 2017, at 9:30 p.m., police were called to the Dufferin Street and Bowie Avenue area for a sound of gunshots.

Emergency personnel arrived and found a man with apparent injuries. He was pronounced at the scene.

It is reported that:

- the victim, who has been identified as Leonard Pinnock, 33, of Hamilton, was sitting in his car waiting for a friend

- he was shot by an unknown person while still in his vehicle

- several suspects were seen fleeing the area

Residents in the area of Caledonia Road to the west, Dufferin Street to the east, Eglinton Avenue to the south and Castlefield Avenue to the north are asked to check their backyards for any discarded items that do not belong to them, for example, keys, cell phones, or any item that might typically be carried in a pocket.

Further, anyone who might have home-security video or dash-cam video of the incident, or any suspects, is asked to contact police.

Jacob Huff, 12, was last seen on Tuesday, June 13, 2017, at approximately 5 p.m., in the Bathurst Street/Bloor Street West area.

He is described as 5’7”, 135 lbs., with brown eyes, and blonde brush-cut hair with brown streaks. He was wearing a grey T-shirt with “Rocket Scientist” on the front and an American flag on the sleeves, and black, red, and white Pumas. He may be travelling the TTC system.

Police are concerned for his safety.

News release for Guelph Police Service, Leigh Taylor, 65, arrested

News release for Guelph Police Service:

On January 27, 2017, the Guelph Police Service started an investigation into allegations against a 64-year old Guelph man in relation to offences against children. On March 3, 2017, Leigh Taylor, was arrested and charged by the Guelph Police Service for one count each of Sexual Assault and Sexual Interference.

As a result of further investigation, Leigh Taylor was arrested again on May 30, 2017 and June 11, 2017, at which time twelve more charges were laid involving four additional victims. These additional charges include five counts of Sexual Assault, Sexual Interference, three counts of Exposure to a Person Under 16 years and three counts of Indecent Acts.

The charges related to this investigation occurred from incidents that occurred in the Guelph jurisdiction but the accused has also resided in several other areas within Ontario, including but not limited to, Windsor, London and Toronto. Leigh Taylor has been involved in a number of community activities that involved children and youth. The investigation continues as there is no statute of limitations on crimes of this nature.

Taste of Little Italy, Friday, June 16, 2017 to Sunday June 18, 2017, Road closures

The 18th annual Taste of Little Italy will be held from Friday, June 16, 2017 to Sunday, June 18, 2017.

This three-day street festival is expected to draw approximately 250,000 people.

As a result, road closures will take place from Friday, June 16, 2017, at 6 p.m., to Monday, June 19, 2017, at 3 a.m.:

- College Street, from Bathurst Street to Shaw Street

Palmerston Boulevard, Clinton Street and Montrose Avenue, just north of College Street, will also be closed from Friday, June 16, 2017, at 3 p.m., to Monday, June 19, 2017, at 3 a.m.

This event will take place regardless of weather conditions.

TTC will not be operating within these boundaries during the road closures.
