The Toronto Police Service is seeking assistance locating a missing man.

Nardino Di Nardo, 83, was last seen on Monday, May 19, 2017, at approximately 6:30 a.m., in the Bloor Street West and Bathurst Street area.

He is described as 5’5”, 165 lbs., white hair, glasses. He was last seen wearing a blue jacket. He walks with a cane which has his name on it.

He has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and may appear disoriented.

Public Safety Alert, Toronto or Brampton area, Lost nuclear gauge

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of a lost nuclear gauge.

It is reported that:

- on Wednesday, May 17, 2017, between 6 a.m. and 7 a.m., a nuclear gauge within a yellow container was lost

- it was last seen in a pick-up truck in the Dixon Road and Carlingview Drive area of Toronto

- after numerous stops in Toronto and Brampton, the items were noticed missing on Ebenezer Road in Brampton

The nuclear gauge could be harmful with prolonged exposure.

Private property fatal collision #3/2017, 3725 Dundas Street West

On Thursday, May 18, 2017, at 7:10 p.m., police responded to a call for a 75-year-old woman with a medical issue at 3725 Dundas Street West. Emergency personnel arrived on scene. The woman was taken to hospital where she was later pronounced.

It has been determined that:

− on Thursday, May 18, 2017, at 5:20 p.m., a man, 75, was driving a 2001 Pontiac Montana van, and was attempting to reverse out of a parking space at 3725 Dundas Street West

- a woman, 75, was standing in the parking lot and was struck by the vehicle as it reversed

− the driver and the vehicle were located a short time later

There is no outstanding vehicle, suspect or driver.

David Rehak, 54, was last seen on Thursday, May 18, 2017, at 1:30 p.m, in the Queen’s Quay West and York Street area.

He is described as 6’5”, slim build, dark-grey receding hair, unshaven. He was last seen wearing a grey T-shirt, black jeans, and prescription glasses.

Police are concerned for his safety.

Toronto Police Service Parking Enforcement will not be enforcing the following on-street parking bylaws during the Victoria Day public holiday on Monday, May 22, 2017:

• Pay-and-Display/Metered Areas

• Rush-Hour Routes

• Posted signs indicating Monday-to-Friday regulations

All other areas and parking offences will continue to be enforced.

John Pack, 66, was last seen on Friday, May 19, 2017, at 6 a.m., in the Sherbourne Street and Gerrard Street East area.

He is described as white, 5’6", medium build, brown-and-grey receding hair and a moustache. We have no clothing descriptions.

Arrests in firearm investigation, Jane Street and Finch Avenue West area, Two men facing total of 15 charges, Photograph of seized firearm released

The Toronto Police Service would like to advise the public of arrests in a firearm investigation.

It is alleged that:

- on Thursday, May 18, 2017, at approximately 8:30 p.m., two 31 Division Neighborhood officers were on patrol in the Jane Street and Finch Avenue West area

- the officers observed two men riding bicycles in the parking lot of Firgrove Public School

- upon seeing the officers, the two men got off the bicycles and were attempting to gain entry into a van which was parked in the area

- one of the men attempted to flee

- as he did so, a loaded handgun fell to the ground

- a short foot pursuit ensued and the officers were able to gain custody of him a short distance away

- a 9 mm Browning handgun was recovered with seven rounds of ammunition; one round was chambered.

On Thursday, May 18, 2016, at 8:50 p.m., both men were arrested.

Abdurazak Abdrabo, 22, of Toronto, has been charged with:

1) Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
2) Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Weapon
3) Possession of a Firearm Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized
4) Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Firearm with Ammunition
5) Careless Storage of a Firearm
6) Carrying a Concealed Weapon
7) Possession of a Firearm, Prohibited or Restricted Weapon Obtained by Crime


Aman Ali, 23, of Toronto, has been charged with:

1) Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
2) Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Weapon
3) Possession of a Firearm Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized
4) Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Firearm with Ammunition
5) Careless Storage of a Firearm
6) Carrying a Concealed Weapon
7) Possession of a Firearm, Prohibited or Restricted Weapon Obtained by Crime
8) Possession of a Firearm or Ammunition Contrary to a Prohibition Order

They were both scheduled to appear in court at 1000 Finch Avenue West on Friday, May 19, 2017, 10 a.m.

Arrest in shooting investigation, Finch Avenue West and Albion Road area, Man, 19, facing multiple charges, Photographs of recovered firearms released

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an arrest in a shooting investigation.

It is alleged that:

- on Thursday, May 18, 2017, at approximately 9:40 p.m., two men entered a courtyard at 6455 Finch Avenue West, in the Finch Avenue West and Albion Road area

- one man was armed with a double-barrelled sawed-off shotgun

- the second man was armed with a .40 calibre handgun

- both men began shooting in the direction of people who were within the courtyard area

- the man with the shotgun fired one shot, the second man fired a minimum of 10 rounds from his handgun

- both men then fled on to Kendleton Avenue

- the man who was armed with the shotgun attempted to conceal it, at which point he discharged a round, striking himself in the leg

- police responded, and the man was taken to hospital where he received treatment for his injury

- investigation revealed the sequence of events which involved the shootings

On Friday, May 19, 2017, at 7:26 a.m., Ojo Oluwaseun, 19, of Toronto, was arrested in the hospital.

He has been charged with:

1) Discharge firearm in a reckless manner
2) Point Firearm
3) Common Nuisance
4) Possession of a loaded prohibited firearm
5) Unauthorized Possession of a firearm
6) Possession of a firearm when unauthorized
7) Possession of a firearm in a motor vehicle
8) Careless use of a firearm
9) Possession of a weapon
10) Carry Concealed weapon
11) Unsafe storage of a firearm
12) Unsafe storage of ammunition
13) Possession of a firearm obtained by crime

The sawed-off shotgun has been recovered. See accompanying photograph.

Police are requesting assistance identifying the second man. He is described as black, 20s, 5’10"-6', wearing grey pants, a black hooded top with a white logo on the front.

On Friday, May 19, 2017, at approximately 7:30 a.m., a black .40 calibre handgun, was located in the Finch Avenue West and Albion Road area.

Police are investigating this as a possible link to the shooting event at 6455 Finch Avenue West the night before, referred to at the beginning of this release.

A photograph of the handgun is attached.

Sean Sexton, 30, charged in ongoing Sexual Assault/Indecent Act investigation, Man's photograph released

The Toronto Police Service would like to inform the public of an arrest in an ongoing Sexual Assault/Indecent Act investigation.

On Monday, May 15, 2017, at 1 p.m., officers responded to a call for an Indecent Exposure in the Haddington Avenue and Avenue Road area.

It is alleged that:

- a 35-year-old woman was sitting with a friend on a restaurant patio

- a man was staring at them intently

- she became uncomfortable and decided to leave

- as she left, the man showed her graphic sexual images

- he then followed her to another business

- he sexually assaulted her

- he then opened his pants and exposed himself to her several times

- she called police and he fled

It is further alleged that:

- between June 1, 2016 and July 31, 2016, a 31-year-old woman reported being sexually assaulted in the Wilson Avenue and Ridley Boulevard area

- she was walking in the area

- she was approached by a man who engaged her in conversation

- he sexually assaulted her

- he followed her to a building where she sought help

On Friday, May 19, 2017, at 8:15 a.m., Sean Sexton, 30, of Toronto, was arrested. He is charged with:

1) two counts of Sexual Assault
2) three counts of Indecent Act
3) Criminal Harassment

He appeared in court at 1000 Finch Avenue West on Friday, May 19, 2017, 2 p.m., room 306.

Both women in these incidents were visibly pregnant. Investigators believe they were targeted due to their advanced stage of pregnancy.

The Toronto Police Service is requesting assistance locating a wanted man.

Carlos Eduardo Leiva, 31, is currently on an outstanding Warrant for offences with violence.

He is wanted for:

1) two counts of Failing to Comply with his Probation Orders

He is known to frequent the Bathurst Street and College Street and Brimley Road and Ellesmere Road areas.

He is described as 5’7”, 150 lbs., medium build, with short, black hair and facial hair.

If located, do not approach. Call 9-1-1 immediately.

Tat Kuen Wong, 74, was last seen on Saturday, May 20, 2017, at 12 p.m., in the McCowan Road and McNicoll Avenue area.

He is described as Asian, 5’8”, thin build, short black hair, clean-shaven. He was wearing a black windbreaker, camouflage shirt underneath, blue jeans, blue/white Adidas running shoes. He speaks limited English. His first language is Cantonese.

Police are concerned for his safety.

He is described as 6’0", approximately 230 lbs., heavy build, shaved head, goatee. He has tattoos on his upper arms and back.

He is believed to be driving a 2002 red Dodge Caravan with Ontario licence plate BWNT 399.
