The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance locating a man wanted in a Break-and-Enter investigation.

It is alleged that:

- on Thursday, January 12, 2017, between 11:50 p.m. and 12:13 a.m., a man broke into a business in the Queen Street West and Bay Street area.

- the man, who has been identified as Justin Yates, 39, of Toronto, obtained property worth more than $100,000.

He is wanted by police for:

1) Break-and-Enter
2) Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000

Tyrial Miller, 12, was last seen on Saturday, January 14, 2017, at 5 p.m., at Yorkdale Shopping Centre.

He is described as 5"4', 100 lbs., slim, with short black afro hair, brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a khaki-colour bomber jacket with fur trim hood, light-blue jeans, black boots, and carries a grey-and-black knapsack.

Police are concerned for his safety.

Personal injury collision #6/2017, Neilson Road and Crow Trail

On Saturday, January 14, 2017, at 7:07 p.m., police responded to a call for a personal injury collision at Neilson Road and Crow Trail.

It is reported that:

- a woman, 21, was driving a 2005 Honda Accord, southbound on Neilson Road, approaching Crow Trail

- a man, 78, was driving a 2004 Ford Ranger, northbound on Neilson Road, and was attempting to make a left turn on to westbound Crow Trail

− the vehicles collided in the intersection

A boy, 5, a passenger in the Honda, received life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital.

The Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (ROPE) Squad is requesting the public’s assistance locating a federal offender wanted on a Canada Wide Warrant as result of his alleged Breach of Parole.

Rowan Atkins, 28, is described as 6'0", 172 lbs.

He is serving a five-year-and-eleven-month sentence for Possession of a Firearm and Possessing a Firearm While Prohibited.

He is known to frequent Toronto and York Region.

Marijuana dispensary robbery, 2145 Danforth Avenue

Toronto Police Service Hold Up would like to advise the public of a violent armed robbery.

On Saturday, January 14, 2016 at 7 p.m., police responded to a call at The Green Leaf marijuana dispensary at 2145 Danforth Avenue.

It is reported that:

- three masked men entered the premises

- one of the men was armed with a small black handgun

- the men took control of the three store employees and ordered them to the ground

- during the robbery, one of the armed men discharged the firearm

- one of the employees was pistol-whipped with the firearm

- the employee attended the hospital and received treatment

- the men fled with a quantity of marijuana and cash

The men are described as:

Suspect #1: black, 5'8" - 5'10", skinny build, black ski mask, black clothing, armed with a handgun

Suspect #2: black, 6'0", muscular build, black ski mask, black clothing

Suspect #3: black, 6'0", athletic build, black ski mask, black clothing

Police seek assistance with shooting investigation, Kipling Avenue and John Garland Boulevard area

The Toronto Police Service is seeking assistance with a shooting investigation.

On Sunday, January 15, 2017, at approximately 8:20 p.m., a 23-year-old man was driving south on Kipling Avenue near John Garland Boulevard.

It is reported that:

- a man was in a vehicle driving south on Kipling Avenue, when he was shot at

- the man was injured and his vehicle crashed into a pole near Kipling Avenue and Esther Lorrie Drive

- the man was taken to hospital and has extremely serious, but non-life-threatening, injuries

-a three-year-old boy was a passenger in the vehicle and was not injured

There are no suspect descriptions available at this time.

Two men were in the area of the shooting and may have witnessed the shooting. A silver Honda was seen leaving the area after the shooting. Occupants of the vehicle may have witnessed the shooting. Police are appealing to the two men and the occupants of the silver Honda to contact police as soon as possible.

Police are urging anyone who witnessed the shooting, recorded video on their cell phone or dashboard car camera in the area, or anyone who may have any information regarding this shooting, to contact police.

On Tuesday, January 17, 2017, at 10:30 a.m., in the media gallery at headquarters, Inspector Peter Moreira, Integrated Gun and Gang Task Force, will update the media on four people facing 165 charges and the seizure of guns, drugs and cash.

Deputy Chief Jim Ramer will also attend the news conference. Property seized will be on display.

The news conference will be available on the TOC and will be live-streamed.

On Saturday, January 21, 2017, at 11:30 a.m., members of the Toronto Police Service will participate in their first Polar Plunge in support of Special Olympics Ontario.

Joined by other police services, law enforcement partners, members of the public and athletes from the Special Olympics, members of the Service will take the plunge at Woodbine Beach, at 1675 Lake Shore Boulevard East.

As supporters of the Special Olympics for the last 30 years as original organizers and participants in the Law Enforcement Torch Run, the Polar Plunge is the next fundraising step for the Toronto Police Service family.

Check-in for participants will be at 10 a.m., with opening ceremonies, including remarks from Chief Mark Saunders, starting at 11:30 a.m. The plunge takes place at noon.

Three men, one woman, face 165 charges in firearm and drug investigation, Guns, drugs, cash seized

In late 2016, the Toronto Police Service Integrated Gun and Gang Task Force (IGGTF) started an investigation into the possession of firearms by people allegedly involved in the trafficking of narcotics.

During the evening of Sunday, January 15, 2017, the IGGTF executed five search warrants in Toronto. Four people were arrested.

It is alleged that the following firearms and ammunition were seized:

- Tikka T3 (Rifle), .308
- Robinson Arms XCR-L (Rifle), .223/5.56
- Anderson AM – 15-M4 (Rifle) , .223/5.56
- Dagger Sap6 (Shotgun), 12 gauge
- Glock 17 (Handgun), 9mm
- Glock 23 (Handgun), .40 S&W
- Cobra ENT CA380 (Handgun), .380

- four over-capacity magazines
- 368 rounds (various calibres)

It is further alleged that the following drugs were seized:

- heroin
- cocaine
- ecstasy
- marijuana
- oxycodone

It is further alleged that more than $45,000 in cash was seized.

Kiarash Parzham, 24, of Toronto, was arrested. He is charged with:

1) 11 counts of Careless Storage of Firearm, Weapon, Prohibited Device or ammunition
2) 11 counts of Unauthorized Possession of Firearm
3) seven counts of Possession of a Firearm knowing its Possession is Unauthorized
4) five counts of Possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm with ammunition
5) seven counts of a Possession of a Firearm, Prohibited or Restricted Weapon obtained by crime
6) seven counts of Possession of Firearm or Ammunition contrary to Prohibition Order
7) two counts of Possession of Proceeds of Property or thing obtained by crime in Canada/Exceed $5000
8) six counts of CDSA - Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking


Natasha Gorgan, 23, of Toronto, was arrested. She is charged with:

1) 11 counts of Careless Storage of Firearm, Weapon, Prohibited Device or ammunition
2) 11 counts of Unauthorized Possession of Firearm
3) seven counts of a Firearm knowing its Possession is Unauthorized
4) five counts of possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm with ammunition
5) seven counts of a Possession of a Firearm, Prohibited or Restricted Weapon obtained by crime
6) two counts of Possession of Proceeds of Property or thing obtained by crime in Canada/Exceed $5000
7) six counts of CDSA - Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking


Javid Samuel, 22, of Toronto, was arrested. He is charged with:

1) 11 counts of Careless Storage of Firearm, Weapon, Prohibited Device or ammunition
2) 11 counts of Unauthorized Possession of Firearm
3) seven counts of a Possession of a Firearm knowing its Possession is Unauthorized
4) five counts of possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm with ammunition
5) seven counts of a Possession of a Firearm, Prohibited or Restricted Weapon obtained by crime
6) seven counts of Possession of Firearm or Ammunition contrary to Prohibition Order
7) two counts of Possession of Proceeds of Property or thing obtained by crime in Canada/Exceed $5000
8) six counts of CDSA - Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking


Trae Greaves, 21, of Richmond Hill, was arrested. He is charged with:

1) Possession of Proceeds of Property or Thing Obtained by Crime in Canada/Exceed $5000
2) three counts of Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking

Mackenzie Greenlaw, 15, was last seen in early December 2016, in the Sheppard Avenue West and Avenue Road area. She has not been in recent contact with her family.

She is described as skinny build, 5’7", 95 lbs., dark-black hair past her shoulders and a dollar-sign tattoo on her left ring finger.

The Toronto Police Service would like to thank the public for their assistance identifying a man wanted for a Sexual Assault on a TTC subway train

It is alleged that:

- on Tuesday, January 3, 2017, at approximately 9:50 a.m., a woman was on a TTC subway train, heading northbound, between St. Clair Avenue West subway station and Glencairn subway station

Assistance sought with Break-and-Enter investigation, Brahms Avenue and Finch Avenue East area

The Toronto Police Service is making the public aware of, and seeking their assistance with, an investigation into a daytime Break-and-Enter.

It is reported that;

- on Sunday, January 15, 2017, at about 1:30 p.m., a man gained entry to a home, via a ground floor window, in the Brahms Avenue and Finch Avenue East area.

- he fled the home, shortly after entry, when he was scared away by the resident

The suspect is described as Asian, late-teens, thin with short, blonde, straight hair, wearing a black waist-length jacket and carrying a blue-and-multi-color backpack.
