55 Division's "Wanted Wednesday," James Flowers, 54

55 Division’s Crime Management Team, in the latest edition of “Wanted Wednesday,” is searching for James Flowers, 54, of Toronto.

He is wanted for:

1) two counts of Assault
2) Choking to Overcome Resistance
3) Uttering Threats

He is described as 5’7”, 160 lbs., brown hair and brown eyes.

Thusanth Ariyanagam, 21, was last seen on Sunday, March 13, 2016, at 10 p.m., in the Danforth Road and Brimley Road area.

He is described as thin build, approximately 140 lbs., with black, wavy hair, moustache and beard. He was last seen possibly wearing black Adidas sneakers with white stripes .

Police are concerned for his safety.

He is described as brown, 5'8", 198 lbs., medium build, brown eyes, black straight hair, with a beard. He was last seen wearing a grey winter coat and blue jeans.

Suspicious incident, Alexandra Park

On Tuesday, March 15, 2016, at 11:40 p.m., police received a radio call to attend Alexandra Park, in the Dundas Street West and Bathurst Street area.

It is reported that:

- a 55-year-old woman was found on the ground in the park

- she was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries

The Toronto Police Service is appealing to the public for any information regarding the incident.

The Toronto Police Service’s French Consultative Committee will be hosting its 6th Annual International Francophonie Day Celebration on Friday, March 18, 2016 at 11 a.m., in the lobby of police headquarters. This year’s theme is La Francophonie in 3D: Diversity, Duality, and Dynamism!

Numerous dignitaries will join Andrew Pringle, Chair of the Toronto Police Services Board, and Chief Mark Saunders at the celebration. The event will also feature Moroccan entertainment followed by an informal reception.

Police request assistance with Break-and-Enter investigation, Underground condominium storage lockers targeted, Bathurst Street and Lake Shore Boulevard West area

The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public's assistance identifying people wanted for breaking into storage lockers in highrise buildings.

Police would like to inform the public about numerous Break-and-Enters to storage lockers in the Liberty Village and Bathurst Street and Lake Shore Boulevard West areaa.

Condominiums with underground storage facilities are being targeted.

The Toronto Police Service is asking the public to be vigilant, to check their storage units on a regular basis and not to store anything of value or importance in their storage units. Police are also asking the public for assistance. If they see any suspicious activities or people in or around these areas, please contact police immediately.

Man, 37, woman, 28, arrested in Robbery investigation

Toronto Police Service Hold Up started an investigation into a series of robberies which took place between Thursday, February 11, 2016, and Sunday, March 13, 2016. The robberies were retail business robberies, a financial institution robbery, and several street-level robberies.

It is alleged that:

- a man wearing a disguise and armed with a knife and/or pepper spray approached the victims

- the man made a verbal demand for money at knifepoint

- on one occasion the man sprayed a woman in the face with pepper spray

- the man punched a woman in the face, breaking her nose

- during a street-level robbery, a female accomplice assisted the man in subduing the victim

- on Sunday March, 13, 2016, members of Intelligence Services came across a robbery in progress

- a man was arrested

Toronto Police Service Hold Up entered into an investigation and allegedly identified the woman accomplice. Search warrants were executed.

Clint Rondeau, 37, of Toronto, was arrested. He has been charged with:

1. seven counts of Robbery
2. seven counts of Disguise with Intent
3. two counts of Assault with a Weapon
4. Aggravated Assault
5. Administer Noxious Thing

He appeared in court at Old City Hall on Monday, March 14, 2016, 10 a.m.

Jacqueline Chittick, 28, of Toronto, was arrested. She has been charged with:

1. Robbery

She appeared in court at College Park on Monday, March 14, 2016,, 10 a..m.

Man arrested in fraud investigation, Frank Cardona, 44 Police believe there may be other vicitms

Toronto Police Service would like to advise the public of an ongoing Fraud investigation.

It is alleged that:

- a man accepted payment for travel plans and reservations that were never booked by Tri-World Travel

- more than 80 victims have been identified at this time

On Thursday, March 17, 2016, Frank Cardona, 44, of Toronto, was arrested. He has been charged with:

1) Fraud Over $5,000

He is scheduled to appear in court at 1000 Finch Avenue West, on Friday, April 29, 2016, 10 a.m.

Police believe there may be other vicitms.

Man arrested for 13 retail robberies, carjacking and property-related offences Taqi Hayder, 28, faces 59 charges

Between Thursday, February 25, 2016 and Wednesday, March 16, 2016, 13 retail robberies, a carjacking and a number of property-related offences occurred throughout the GTA.

It is alleged that:

- during the robberies and carjacking, the man wore a disguise and was armed with a large knife

- the man demanded money and property at knifepoint

- the man escaped using the stolen vehicles obtained during the carjacking and theft of motor vehicle

As a result of TPS Hold Up's investigation, the man was allegedly identified.

On Thursday, March 17, 2016, TPS Hold Up, York Region and Peel Region Hold Up officers arrested the man without incident.

Taqi Hayder, 28, of no fixed address, has been charged with:

1) 13 counts of Robbery
2) 13 counts of Weapons Dangerous
3) 13 counts of Disguise with intent
4) 13 counts of Fail to comply Prob
5) two counts of Theft over
6) Theft under
7) four counts of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime

He is scheduled to appear in court at 2201 Finch Avenue West, on Friday, March 18, 2016, 10 a.m.

It is alleged that:

- on Tuesday, March 8, 2016, a man attended a home in the Lawrence Avenue East and Orton Park Road area and committed a sexual assault and a robbery.

Police are requesting the public’s assistance locating Eric Oliha, 35, of Toronto, wanted on the strength of a warrant for:

1) two counts of Robbery
2) two counts of Sexual Assault with a Weapon
3) five counts of Fail to Comply with Recognizance

He is described as 5’10”, 170 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes.

If seen, he should not be approached. Call 9-1-1 immediately.

She is wanted on the strength of two Warrants in the First Instance for:

1) two counts of Robbery
2) three counts of Assault

She is described as 5'6", 130 lbs., hazel eyes and brown hair. She has the following tattoos: left arm: “HAPPINESS,” right index finger: “LOVE,” right forearm: “Feather” and back of neck: “ANISHANWABE KWE.”
