Raphael Broillette-Szilvassy, 28, was last seen on Tuesday, August 4, 2015, at 2 p.m., in the Broadview Avenue and Dundas Street East area.

He is described as 5'8", 161 lbs., with brown short hair.

He was last seen driving a 2006 grey Ford Escort with Ontario licence plate BNKW 691.

Homicides #29/2015 and #30/2015, Muzik, 15 Saskatchewan Road, and just north of the Dufferin, Update, victims identified

In the early hours of Tuesday, August 4, 2015, officers were at Muzik, 15 Saskatchewan Road, for a large event. There was a crowd of several thousand patrons. At approximately 3:25 a.m., as the club was shutting down, multiple gunshots were fired both inside the club and outside. Officers discovered a man inside the club and a woman, just north of the Dufferin Gates, who died of apparent gunshot injuries.

The victims have now been identified as Duvel Hibbert, 23, of Brampton (Homicide #29/2015) and Ariela Navarro-Fenoy, 26, of Toronto (Homicide #30/2015).

Public assistance sought identifying two women wanted in Theft of cell phone investigation, Security camera video released

The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public's assistance identifying two women wanted in a Theft Under investigation.

It is reported that:

- on Monday, June 29, 2015, at approximately 3 p.m., a 20-year-old woman was at a restaurant in the Dundas Street West and University Avenue area

- she left her iPhone unattended on a table while at the register

- two unknown women were standing near the register when one women took the iPhone from the table and hid it in her purse

Security camera footage of the suspect and person of interest are available on YouTube.

The suspect was wearing a grey t-shirt, beige shorts and had a yellow purse.

The Person of Interest was dressed in black, wearing a baseball cap and had a purse.

Sexual Assault Alert, Police request assistance with Sexual Assault investigation, Ashtonbee Road and Pharmacy Avenue

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of a Sexual Assault investigation.

It is alleged that:

- on Wednesday, August 5, 2015, at approximately 11:15 p.m., a 17-year-old woman was walking eastbound on Ashtonbee Road and Pharmacy Avenue

- as the woman was passing the reservoir, she was approached by an unknown man who emerged from the park

- the woman was pulled into a nearby secluded area, within the park, and was sexually assaulted by the unknown man

- the assault was interrupted by the sound of a vehicle driving by

- the man fled into the park

The man is described as black, approximately 30, 6'2", medium build with short black hair. He was wearing blue jeans and a white sweater with the hood pulled up at the time of the assault.

Public assistance sought with Attempt Murder investigation, Jessy Kabanga-Muanza, 22, faces eight charges, One man still outstanding

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an ongoing Attempt Murder investigation.

On Monday, July 20, 2015, at 1:10 a.m., police responded to the sound of gunshots at 10 Boultbee Avenue.

It is alleged that:

- a man and a woman were in the vestibule of the building

- two men pulled up in a vehicle, ran towards the couple and shot the man

- the men then fled in their vehicle

One of the men has been identified as Jessy Kabanga-Muanza, 22, of no fixed address. On Friday, July 31, 2015, he was arrested. He is charged with:

1) Attempted Murder
2) Careless Storage of Firearm
3) Careless Storage of Ammunition
4) Possession of Loaded Restricted Firearm
5) Possession of Restricted Firearm Without License
6) Possession of Firearm Knowing Possession Unauthorized
7) Possession of Firearm Contrary to Prohibition Order
8) Possession of Firearm Knowing Serial Number Altered

He was scheduled to appear in court at College Park on Tuesday, August 4, 2015, courtroom 501, 10 a.m.

The second man remains outstanding. He is described as average height and weight, wearing a dark hoodie with a white logo on the front.

Homicide #28/2015, 135 Rose Avenue, Update, Curtis Gordon Dawkins, 25, charged with Second-Degree Murder

On Monday, August 3, 2015, at approximately 1:45 a.m., officers responded to an unknown trouble call at 135 Rose Avenue .

The victim has been identified as Jamie Foster, 27.

The post-mortem examination concluded the cause of death was multiple stab wounds.

Curtis Gordon Dawkins, 25, of no fixed address, was arrested at the scene. He is charged with:

1) Second-Degree Murder

He was scheduled to appear in court at College Park on Tuesday, August 4, 2015, 10 a.m., courtroom 501.

Police would like to speak with anyone who may have known the whereabouts of Curtis Dawkins in the first days of August, up until Monday, August 3, 2015.

Man wanted in Robbery investigation, Bloor subway station, 20 Bloor Street East, Security camera images of wanted man released

The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public's assistance identifying a man wanted for Robbery.

It is reported that:

- on Monday, August 3, 2015, at approximately 4:30 p.m., a man was disturbing people on board a subway train heading to Bloor Subway Station, 20 Bloor Street East

- a 28-year-old man verbally asked the man to stop

- the man then attempted to rob the 28-year-old man of his personal property

- a struggle ensued

- the man then produced a knife and demanded his personal property

- the man exited the subway on the northbound platform without obtaining any property

He is described as 6'1", 20-30, with blonde hair, blonde stubble on face, wearing a black T-shirt with a white logo of a hand in the shape of a gun, black baseball hat with a gold colour logo "WU-TANG", two pairs of black shorts under a pair of grey pants with leather on the knees, a grey undershirt, "DC" logo on his socks, black basketball shoes, and was carrying one black and one grey backpack.

Security camera images of the man have been released.

Arrest in Arson investigation, Piotr Olszewski, 31, faces eight counts

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an arrest in an Arson investigation.

It is alleged that:

- in the early morning hours of Thursday, August 6, 2015, six separate fires were set around the Ossington Avenue and Bloor Street West area

- the damage was limited to property

On Thursday August 26, 2015, at 2:30 a.m., Piotr Olszewski, 31, of Mississauga, was arrested. He is charged with:

1) six counts of Arson
2) Possession of Incendiary Material
3) Fail to Comply with Probation Order

He was scheduled to appear in court at Old City Hall on Thursday, August 6, 2015, 10 a.m., courtroom 101.

Police request public assistance with shooting investigation

The Toronto Police Service is seeking the public's assistance with a shooting investigation.

It is reported that:

- in the early hours of Sunday, August 2, 2015, two men were at Revival Bar at 783 College Street

- while inside the bar, the two became involved in an altercation with two other men

- at approximately 1:45 a.m., all four were removed from the premises by staff

- the four engaged in a brief conversation outside when one of the men pulled out a gun and shot one of the other men

- the shooter and his friend fled eastbound into a nearby parking lot

- they then fled in a dark vehicle, southbound on Crawford Street

The shooter is described as mixed race, 26-27, approximately 250-260 lbs., with short hair. He was wearing a white shirt with a checkered pattern on the left shoulder, and khaki shorts.

Friday August 7, 2015, Toronto 2015 Parapan American Games, Events and related traffic impact for Friday, August 7, 2015 and Saturday, August 8, 2015

The preparation for the 2015 Parapan American Games road events continues today. There will be closures that will affect the area around High Park that will include:

Full road closures within High Park of Colborne Lodge Drive, Centre Road, West Road, Spring Road and High Park Boulevard from 12 a.m. on Friday August 7, 2015 to 6 p.m. on Saturday August 8, 2015.

Additional road closures will take place on Friday August 7, 2015 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. to allow athletes to familiarize themselves with the cycling road race course, including:

- Lake Shore Boulevard will be closed in both directions from Colborne Lodge Drive to Strachan Avenue.

- Bloor Street from Ellis Park Road to Parkside Drive will be reduced to one lane in each direction.

- The Queensway from Claude Drive to Ellis Avenue will be reduced to one lane in each direction.

- Ellis Avenue and Ellis Park Road will be closed.

During the closure period Lake Shore Boulevard, from Colborne Lodge Drive to Net Drive, will remain open to local traffic only to provide access for businesses and residents. Access to Ontario Place will also be maintained.

On Saturday, August 8, 2015, the closures highlighted above for August 7, 2015 will be in place from 1 a.m. until 6 p.m. to accommodate the men's and women's cycling road races which will run from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

There will also be cycling detours starting Saturday August 8, 2015 at 1 a.m. until Sunday August 9, 2015 at 2 p.m.. Some sections of the Martin Goodman Trail will be closed to bicycle traffic. Signage is in place along the 2.85-kilometre detour. Detour routes include:

• Cyclists travelling east must exit the trail at British Columbia Road/Lake Shore Boulevard and then take the detour route north on British Columbia Road, east on Saskatchewan Road, south on Princes' Boulevard and following Prince Edward Island Crescent to Ontario Drive, south to Lake Shore Blvd and traveling east to rejoin the Martin Goodman Trail at New Brunswick Way.

• Cyclists traveling west must exit the trail at Remembrance Drive opposite New Brunswick Way, then travel west on Lake Shore Boulevard, north on Ontario Drive and immediately west onto Prince Edward Island Crescent, north on Princes' Boulevard to Saskatchewan Road, proceeding west on British Columbia Road to rejoin the Martin Goodman Trail at Marilyn Bell Park.

Tonight will also mark the opening ceremony for the 2015 Parapan American Games. The ceremony will take place at the CIBC Pan Am/Parapan Am Athletics Stadium (YOR) located at York University, 4700 Keele Street, Toronto. The opening ceremony will begin at 7 p.m.

The Toronto Police would like to advise drivers of expected delays on the Don Valley Parkway, northbound, and Highway 404 starting at approximately 3 p.m. There will be a large number of buses utilizing the HOV lanes to transport athletes from the Athlete’s Village to the CIBC Pan Am/Parapan Am Athletics Stadium. Drivers are asked to plan ahead for these delays by planning an alternative route, utilizing transit or re-timing their commute to avoid delays.

Man arrested in two bank Robberies, Troy Isiah Jacob, 39, facing two charges

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an arrest in financial institution robberies.

It is alleged that:

- on Tuesday, August, 4, 2015, at approximately 9:55 a.m., a man entered the Bank of Nova Scotia at 79 Queen Street East

- the man presented a note and showed a gun

- he fled and no money was obtained

It is further alleged that:

- on Tuesday, August, 4, 2015, at approximately 10:29 a.m., a man entered the Bank of Nova Scotia at 522 University Avenue

- the man presented a note and showed a gun

- after obtaining money, the man fled

On Wednesday, August, 5, 2015, the man was located and arrested. Troy Isiah Jacob, 39, of Ottawa, has been charged with:

1) two counts of Robbery with an Offensive Weapon

He appeared in court at Old City Hall on Thursday, August 6, 2015, 10 a.m., room 101.

Further investigation revealed that he is wanted by the Ottawa Police Service for another retail business robbery.

Arrest in Sexual Exploitation investigation, Paul De Pedra, 31, faces two charges, Police believe there may be other victims

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an arrest in a Sexual Exploitation investigation.

It is alleged that:

- a man actively sought out parents online and tried to persuade them to commit incest

On Thursday, August 6, 2015, investigators executed a search warrant at a home in the Eglinton Avenue West/Dufferin Street area.

Paul De Pedra, 31, of Toronto, was arrested. He is charged with:

1) two counts of Agreement or Arrangement – Sexual Offence against a Child

He was scheduled to appear in court at 1000 Finch Avenue West on Thursday, August 6, 2015, courtroom 301.

He was also known online as “porkchop83@live.com,” “porkythepig83,” “sweetporkchop77,” and “PAUL” on Skype.

Police believe there may be other victims.

Homicide #31/2015, Media Advisory, Saturday, August 8, 2015, 11:30 a.m., 463 Old Weston Road, Media Scrum

On Saturday, August 8, 2015, at 11:30 a.m., in front of 463 Old Weston Road, Homicide Detective Murray Barnes will update the media on the investigation into Homicide #31/2015.

The identity of the victim will not be released pending notification of next-of-kin.

This scrum will not be available on Bell TOC.
