Public assistance sought with kidnapping and aggravated assault investigation, Update, Police continue to search for wanted man and woman
The Toronto Police Service is continuing to seek the public's assistance locating two people wanted in a kidnapping and aggravated-assault investigation.

1) John Brown, 44, of Pickering
2) Elanna Marki, 40, of Toronto
On Monday, April 22, 2014, police received information that Elanna Marki is currently in the area of Prince of Wales Drive and Meadowlands Drive East in the city of Ottawa.

The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public's assistance locating a missing woman.
Glory Nzeribe, 19, was last seen on Wednesday, April 23, 2014, at 8 a.m., in the Kipling Avenue/Finch Avenue West area.
She is described as black, 5'3", 130 lbs., with black shoulder-length braided hair, and brown eyes. She was wearing a grey track suit with a red shirt underneath and black boots with white dots.
Police are concerned for her safety.

Ontario Gurudwara Committee Khalsa Day Parade, Sunday, April 27, 2014, Road closures
On Sunday, April 27, 2014, the Ontario Gurudwara Committee Khalsa Day Parade will take place. The parade will assemble at the Better Living Centre, Exhibition Place, and proceed along the following route:
Parade route: (starting at 1 p.m.)
Formation Area - Better Living Centre (Exhibition Place)
Southbound - Ontario Drive (full roadway)
Eastbound - Lakeshore Boulevard (All eastbound lanes only)

Sunday, April 27, 2014, Backs in Motion 5k and 10k Run/Walk, Expected road closures
On Sunday, April 27, 2014, the "Backs in Motion 5k & 10k Run/Walk" will take place.
The event will form up at approximately 8 a.m., at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, at 6100 Leslie Street.
The Run/Walk will start in two waves: 8:45 a.m., for the 10k run and 9:15 a.m., for the 5k run. The runners will proceed southbound on Leslie Street, west on Finch Avenue, and northbound into and through the parkland and finish at the CMCC. All participants will utilize the marked curb lanes only.
5k route:
Formation - 6100 Leslie Street
South - Leslie Street (curb lane)
West - Finch Avenue (curb lane)
North - Parkland entrance, west of Pineway Blvd.
South - Leslie Street

Sexual Assault Alert, Two men and two boys arrested in Sexual Assault of a child, Police believe there may be more victims
In January 2014, the Child and Youth Advocacy Centre (CYAC) began an investigation into an allegation of child sexual abuse.
It is alleged that:
- a now seven-year-old girl was sexually assaulted, on numerous occasions between 2010 and 2012, by two men and two boys
On Thursday, April 10, 2014, the Child and Youth Advocacy Centre made the following arrests.
Raymond Savoie, 43, of Toronto, has been charged with:
1) Gang Sexual Assault
2) two counts of Sexual Assault
3) three counts of Sexual Interference
Michel Savoie, 40, of Toronto, has been charged with:
1) Gang Sexual Assault
2) Sexual Assault
3) two counts of Sexual Interference
They are scheduled to appear in court at 1911 Eglinton Avenue East, on Tuesday, June 3, 2014.
Two boys, now 18 and 17, both of Toronto, have each been charged with:
1) Sexual Assault
2) Sexual Interference
They are scheduled for their next appearance in court at 1911 Eglinton Avenue East, on Monday, May 26, 2014.

Suspicious Incident, Man wanted, 12 Division
The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public's assistance identifying a man wanted in a suspicious incident investigation.
On Tuesday, February 8, 2014, at 8:25 p.m., in a department store, located in the Lawrence Avenue West and Keele Street area, it is reported that:
- an man entered the female washroom,
- the man was seen holding a cell phone prior to and after leaving the female washroom
- several women are seen entering and exiting the washroom while the man was inside
- the man exited the washroom looking at the display of his phone as if looking at pictures
The man is described as white, 30-35 years, 5'10", medium build, unshaven wearing a black toque, dark-coloured jacket and blue jeans.

Police request public's assistance with Break and Enter investigation, 42 Division
The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public's assistance in a Break and Enter investigation.
On Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at 12 p.m., 42 Division officers observed two men who had just committed a Break and Enter in the Brimley Road and Sheppard Ave East area.
One man was arrested a short distance away. As a result of this arrest a search warrant was executed at a residence near Birchmount Road and Finch Avenue East. A Remmington 700 bolt action rifle with scope was recovered. It had been reported stolen during another Break and Enter, in York Region, in January, 2014.
The second man fled from police. He has now been identified as Tyrell Piercey, 19, of Toronto.
He is wanted for:
1) Break and Enter
A picture of him has been included. Police believe that he is dangerous and should not be approached. Please call 911 if he is seen.

On Friday, April 4, 2014, Eli Michael Lapell, 42, was last seen in the Gloucester Grove and Oakwood Avenue area.
He is described as white, 5'8", thin build, long unkempt brown hair with a beard. He has a scar beside his right eye. It is unknown what he is wearing at this time.

Missing Man Tyrell Pinnock, 21
The Toronto Police Service is seeking the publics assistance locating a missing man.
Tyrell Pinnock, 21, was last seen on Sunday, April 20, 2014, in the area of Port Union and Lawrence Avenue East.
He is described as black, 59, 140 lbs., thin build. He was last seen wearing a light blue fitted cap, a black rain-style jacket, blue jeans and red Nike running shoes.
Police are concerned for his safety.

He is described as black, 510, 170 lbs., medium build, black braided hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue cotton hat, black coat, blue jeans, and black shoes with a white stripe.
Police are concerned for his safety.

Homicide #8/2014, John MacLean, 57, Update, Rogar Bryan, 22, charged with Second Degree Murder
The Toronto Police Service would like to advise the public of developments in the investigation into Homicide #8/2014.
On Wednesday, February 12, 2014, at approximately 9 p.m., police were called to the Albion Road and Kipling Avenue area for a report of a stabbing.
It was reported that:
- police arrived on scene and located a man suffering from obvious injuries
- the man was taken to hospital via emergency run
- the man was pronounced dead at the hospital
On Wednesday, April 23, 2014, Rogar Bryan, 22, of no fixed address, was arrested. He is charged with:
1) Second Degree Murder.
He appeared in court on Thursday, April 24, 2014, at 2201 Finch Avenue West. Two women and one man have already been arrested and charged in relation to this case.

Media scrum, Saturday, April 26, 2014, at 1 p.m., Ledbury Community Centre, 146 Ledbury Street, Police warn the public about a series of break-ins
On Saturday, April 26, 2014, at 1 p.m., officers from 32 Division would like to invite the media to a scrum at the Ledbury Community Centre, at 146 Ledbury Street.
The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public's assistance solving a rash of Break-and-Enters in the area bounded by Highway 401 to Eglinton Avenue and Avenue Road to Bayview Avenue .
Officers will be providing heightened patrols in this neighbourhood. They will be handing out crime prevention pamphlets and encouraging the use of Crime Stoppers as a tool to help solve these cases.
Officers will be delivering their message door-to-door and to people walking in the neighbourhood. The community command post will be utilized and the community is invited to come by for helpful crime prevention tips.
