The Toronto Police Service's 55 Division is updating the public on the arrest of a wanted man.

On Monday, March 8, 2021, Lakshman Sivayogan, 33, of Toronto, turned himself into police and is facing the following charge:

1. Assault

He is scheduled to appear in court on Friday, May 7, 2021 at 2 p.m., at College Park, 444 Yonge Street, room 505.

Sadie Ruxton, 22, was last seen on Monday, March 8, 2021, at 12:40 p.m., in the Queen Street East and Greenwood Avenue area.

She is described as 5'5", with a thin build, and dark brown/red hair. She was last seen wearing a yellow sweater and an 'Ace Valley' hat.

Police are concerned for her safety.

Shane Hickey, 36, was last seen on Monday, March 8, 2021, at 10:15 a.m., in the Lansdowne Avenue and Dundas Street West area.

He is described as 5'10", 210 lbs., with strawberry blonde unkept hair, and a bushy red beard. He was last seen wearing a blue winter coat with white patterns, old blue track pants, tan work boots. He may be wearing a toque or ball cap.

Police are concerned for his safety.

Missing girl, Weston Road and Eglinton Avenue West area, Jenesis Solari-Echegaray, 16

The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public's assistance locating a missing girl.

Jenesis Solari-Echegaray, 16, was last seen on Saturday, March 6, 2021, at 12:05 a.m., in the Weston Road and Eglinton Avenue West area.

She is described as 5'7, 154 lbs, with long straight black hair. she has a tattoo on her chest "Just God judge Me" and her name on her forearm.

Police are concerned for her safety.

Man Arrested in Retail Robbery Investigation, Front Street East and Lower Jarvis Street area, Chad Connolly, 41

The Toronto Police Service Hold Up Squad would like to advise the public of an arrest in a retail store robbery investigation.

On Saturday, October 19, 2019, a retail store robbery was committed in the Front Street East and Lower Jarvis Street area.

It is alleged that:

- a man entered a store and approached the checkout counter

- the man spoke with the cashier and made a demand for money

- the man kept his hand in his pocket suggesting that he was armed with a gun

- the man took the cash from the register before fleeing the area on foot

The Hold Up Squad conducted an investigation and were able to identify a man. The man was located with the assistance of Barrie Police Service.

On Monday, March 8, 2021, Chad Connolly, 41, of Barrie, was arrested. He is charged with:

1. Robbery

He was scheduled to appear in court at College Park on Tuesday, March 9, 2021, in room 507.

Homicide #15/2021, 36 Hearst Circle, Arturo Acuna, 70

On Tuesday, March 9, 2021, at approximately 11:23 a.m., officers responded to a radio call for a stabbing at 36 Hearst Circle.

Officers located a man suffering from significant injuries. Due to the severity of his injuries he was pronounced deceased on scene.

He has been identified as Arturo Acuna, 70, of Toronto.

Ronnie Acuna Aguirre, 33, of Toronto, was arrested at the scene. He is charged with:

1) Second Degree Murder

He will appear at Toronto West Courts on Wednesday, March 10, 2021, at 10 a.m., via video link.

Investigators do not believe there are any other suspects outstanding. This is believed to be an isolated event. There is no danger to the community.

Firearm and suspected drugs recovered, Flemington Road and Varna Drive area, Nakhari Henry-Robinson, 22, faces 17 charges

The Toronto Police Service’s 32 Division seized a firearm and suspected drugs following the arrest of a man.

On Monday, March 8, 2021 at approximately 5:31 p.m., officers responded to a damage in progress radio call in the Flemington Road and Varna Drive area.

It is alleged that:

- a man was in an apartment smashing walls and breaking items, causing his hand to bleed

- a man matching the suspect’s description was seen leaving the area in a taxi

- officers stopped the taxi to investigate

- as officers attempted to arrest the man, he began to resist

- he was safely arrested and taken to hospital for treatment for his pre-existing hand injury

- a loaded handgun and a large quantity of drugs - believed to be Carfentanil - were recovered


Nakhari Henry-Robinson, 22, of Toronto, is facing the following 17 criminal charges:

1. Mischief/Damage Property Not Exceeding $5000
2. three counts of Possess Firearm While Prohibited
3. two counts of Breach of Probation
4. Fail to Comply with Release Order
5. Carry Firearm Carelessly
6. Transport Firearm Carelessly
7. Possess Weapon Dangerous to Public Peace
8. Possess Restricted or Prohibited Firearm Knowingly Not Holding A Licence and Registration Certificate
9. Possess Prohibited Device Knowing No Authority
10. Occupy Motor Vehicle with Firearm
11. Possess Firearm Obtained by Crime
12. Possess Loaded Regulated Firearm
13. Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Schedule I Substance – Carefentanil
14. Possess Proceeds of Property or Thing Obtained by Crime Not Exceeding $5000

He attended court on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at 10 a.m., Old City Hall, 60 Queen Street West,
room 103.

Woman wanted in ATM cheque deposit fraud investigation, Downtown Toronto area, Ashley Ouellette, 33, Image released

The Toronto Police Service’s 52 Division is advising the public of a woman wanted in a fraud investigation.

Between Monday, January 25, 2021 and Thursday, February 11, 2021, officers responded to several fraud reports in the downtown core of Toronto.

It is alleged that:

- a woman would approach people seeking assistance

- the woman would explain that she lost her wallet and identification, she would then request the person to cash a cheque

- the person would then withdraw cash from their accounts to give it to the woman, only to later discover the cheque was fraudulent.

Investigators were able to identify a woman.

Ashley Ouellette, 33, of Toronto, is wanted for the following charges:

1. 23 counts of Fraud Under
2. six counts of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
3. four counts of Utter Forged Documents

She is described as 5’’3”, 115 lbs., blonde hair, and blue eyes. Her image has been released.

Investigators would like to remind people to be vigilant whenever accepting cheques from strangers.
