Two arrested in drug investigation, Woman, 40, and man, 41, each facing eight charges

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of two arrests in a drug investigation.

It is alleged that:

- a man and a woman have been selling quantities of marijuana in various forms, specializing in edibles, to the community

- they have been operating a very sophisticated "dispensary-type" operation out of their residence

- police became aware of this operation and began an investigation

On Monday, January 30, 2017, officers from 14 Division executed a CDSA search warrant and Jennifer Dwarka, 40, and Robin Kemerer, 41, both of Toronto, were arrested.

They were both charged with:

1) Possession for the purpose schedule II substance (marihuana)
2) Possession schedule II substance (marihuana)
3) Possession for the purpose schedule III substance (psilocybin)
4) Possession schedule III substance (psilocybin)
5) Possession for the purpose schedule I substance (oxycodone)
6) Possession schedule I substance (oxycodone)
7) Possession schedule I substance (cocaine)
8) Possession of proceeds of crime

Both were scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at Old City Hall, 10 a.m., room 103.
