Public assistance sought with stabbing investigation, Yonge Street and Breadalbane Street

The Toronto Police Service is seeking the public's assistance with a stabbing investigation.

It is alleged that:

- on Friday, November 18, 2016, at 1:25 a.m., a group of people were in the Yonge Street and Breadalbane Street area

- a man approached and a conversation ensued

- suddenly, and without provocation, the man stabbed one of the men from the group with a knife

- the man fled, but then returned to stab another man from that group

The suspect is described as black, 20-30, with a thin build, with three lines shaved into one of his eyebrows.

Police are requesting assistance identifying the male suspect.

He is considered armed and dangerous. If located or identified, he should not be approached. Call 9-1-1 immediately.
