The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an ongoing Theft investigation
It is reported that;
- a man, 79, was an art collector and had a number of paintings hanging in his home in the Bay Street and Bloor Street West area.
- the man, 79, entered hospital and died a short time later
- on Sunday, October 16, 2016, in the early-morning hours, several paintings were stolen
This artwork is considered very valuable and cannot be replaced. It has an estimated value of approximately $50,000.
