Public assistance sought with investigation into retirement residence Break-and-Enter, Avenue Road/Eglinton Avenue West area, Suspect posed as nurse, Police believe there may be other victims

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an ongoing Break-and-Enter investigation.

It is reported that:

- on Monday, November 2, 2015, at approximately 1:50 p.m., a woman wearing scrubs entered a retirement residence in the Avenue Road/Eglinton Avenue West area

- a 91-year-old resident returned to her apartment to find the woman inside

- the woman fled with over $1,000 in cash

The woman is described as being in her 30s, thin, with shoulder-length brown hair. She was wearing hot-pink scrubs, a white baseball cap, white shoes and a royal blue lanyard with a white name tag.

Security camera images are being released.

Police believe there may be other victims.
