14 Division's "Fugitive Friday," Michael Steven Mitrovic, 39

This is the latest instalment of 14 Division's "Fugitive Friday." We are looking for Michael Steven Mitrovic, 39, of Toronto.

It is alleged that:

- on Tuesday, April 6, 2010, a man was at his residence in the King Street West and Jameson Avenue area

- the man met a tow truck driver who was there to repossess his vehicle

- the tow truck driver attempted to hook up the man's vehicle,

- the man entered his vehicle and fled the area

- the man, while fleeing, struck the tow truck driver

It is further alleged that:

- on Monday, September 8, 2014, a man was stopped by police for not wearing a seatbelt.

- the man refused to identify himself and attempted to leave the area on foot

- the man was arrested

- during the arrest, a concealed knife was located

A Warrant in the First Instance has been issued for Michael Steven Mitrovic, 39, of Toronto.

He is wanted on for the following:

1) Assault with a Weapon
2) Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle
3) Carry Concealed Weapon
4) Fail to Stop at Scene of an Accident
5) Fail to Attend Court
6) Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking

He is described as 6'1", 240 lbs., with brown hair, and brown eyes.

Police warn that he is considered violent. If located do not approach. Call 9-1-1.
