The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public's assistance in the recovery of stolen property.
On Friday, January 23, 2015, at approximately 7:55 p.m., officers responded to a call for a Theft in the Fort York Boulevard and Dan Leckie Way area.
It is alleged that:
- a woman observed a man in a wheelchair get struck by a car
- she dropped her bag and ran to give the man first aid
- while she helped the man, someone stole her bag and fled
Her bag contained the following property
- Purple, Synthetic Leather Bag (LuluLemon Company)
- Silver Mac Book Pro Laptop with a white charger
- White iPhone Charger
- Stethoscope with black plastic neck with name engraved
- Reading Glasses with natural wood arms and a dark plastic frame (Jono Hennesel Company)
On Wednesday, February 11, 2015, at 6:50 a.m., Robert Robello, 58, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with:
1) Theft Under
2) Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under
At this time, Toronto Police Service 14 Division is requesting the public's assistance in locating the above noted property so it can be returned to the owner.
