On Friday, August 15, 2014, at 11:20 p.m., police responded to a call for a personal injury collision at Lansdowne Avenue at Dupont Street.
It is reported that:
- a 37-year-old woman was driving a 2004 Honda CRV, southbound on Lansdowne Avenue, attempting to turn left to eastbound Dupont Street
- a 35-year-old man was driving a 2002 Honda motorcycle, northbound on Lansdowne Avenue, approaching Dupont Street
- the driver of the Honda CRV made the left turn and the motorcycle struck the side of the vehicle
The 35-year-old man driving the motorcycle suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital.
