Man wanted for Assault with a Weapon, Bathurst Street and Drewry Avenue, Security camera image released

The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public's assistance identifying a man wanted for an Assault on a convenience store owner in the Bathurst Street and Drewry Avenue area.

It is reported that:

- on Saturday, August 16, 2014, at approximately 12:30 p.m., the convenience store owner was working

- a man entered the store, armed with a knife

- he had a verbal dispute with the convenience store owner

- the man swung a knife at the convenience store owner

- the convenience store owner was not struck

- the man continued to assault the convenience store owner and then left

The man is described as black, in his 30s, 5'10"-6'0", with a large muscular build, shaved head and a clean-shaven face. He was wearing a dark T-shirt and dark shorts.
