Police request assistance with Robbery and firearm investigation, Weston Road and Locust Street

The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public's assistance with a Robbery investigation involving a firearm.

It is reported that:

- on Thursday, August 14, 2014, at approximately 12:50 p.m, three men were standing near Weston Road and Locust Street

- two men exited a vehicle and produced firearms

- the first suspect approached the victim and pointed a firearm at him, while demanding his money and personal belongings

- the trigger of the firearm was pulled, however the firearm failed to discharge

- the second suspect pointed his firearm at the victims while he chased them

- both suspects fled the area in an older-model, grey or silver Honda motor vehicle

The first suspect is described as black, with a dark complexion, 6'0", with a medium bulid, 20-25, with braided black hair. He was wearing blue jeans, a white T-shirt and a black sweater.

The second suspect is described as black, with a dark complexion, 20-25, 6'2", with a slim-to-medium build. He was wearing a shiny black jacket and a black T-shirt.

Both men are considered to be armed and dangerous.
