The Toronto Police Service is alerting the public to a break-and-enter investigation and requesting the public's assistance.
On Saturday, June 7, 2014, at approximately 1:30 a.m., the Toronto Police Service investigated a report of a break-and-enter in the Royal York Road and Evans Avenue area.
It is reported that:
- a 30-year-old woman was at home
- a man gained access to the home via the back door
- once the man was inside, the woman confronted the man
- the man fled the residence
He is described as black, with some facial hair, wearing a long-sleeved black shirt.
