On Sunday, March 23, 2014, the Greek Independence Day parade will take place on Danforth Avenue.
Parade organizers expect thousands of participants and spectators.
The parade will assemble at Eastern Commerce Collegiate Institute, 16 Phin Avenue, at 11 a.m., and start at 1 p.m.
The parade will take the following route:
Assembly Area: Eastern Commerce Collegiate Institute
- north on Euston Avenue
- west on Danforth Avenue
Dispersal: Danforth Avenue, west of Jackman Avenue
Danforth Avenue will be closed between Donlands Avenue and Broadview Avenue.
Motorists are requested to take extra caution while travelling on the above route as there will be delays.
