Sexual Assault Alert, Lameck Russell Williams, 26, arrested, Police believe there may be more victims

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an arrest in an ongoing sexual assault investigation.

It is alleged that:

- on Thursday, March 20, 2014, at approximately 11:35 a.m., a 20-year-old woman was walking in the Queen Street West/Spadina Avenue area

- a man approached her from behind, sexually assaulted her, then fled

It is further alleged that:

- moments later, a 25-year-old woman was walking in the same area when the same man approached and sexually assaulted her

- the woman confronted the man, taking photos of him

Responding officers observed the man allegedly sexually assaulting an unknown woman who was standing in a line-up by 299 Queen Street West.

The man was arrested.

Lameck Russell Williams, 26, of Toronto, is charged with:

1) two counts of sexual assault

He was scheduled to appear in court at Old City Hall, in courtroom 101, on Friday, March 21, 2014, at 10 a.m.

Police believed there may be other victims,in addition to the still-unknown woman.
