On Thursday, August 15, 2013, at approximately 10 p.m., police responded to a personal injury collision at the intersection of Willowdale Avenue and Olive Avenue.
It is reported that:
- a 23-year-old man was riding a Suzuki motorcycle northbound on Willowdale Avenue at a high rate of speed
- a 66-year-old woman was driving a 2005 grey Lexus ES330 southbound on Willowdale Avenue, making a left turn onto eastbound Olive Avenue
- the motorcycle and the car collided in the intersection
The motorcycle rider was pronounced dead at the scene.
