Child Sexual Abuse Material investigation, Man charged, Kenneth Arseneault-Lewis, 32

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an arrest made in a Child Exploitation investigation.

It is alleged that:

- in the summer of 2017, a man befriended a 13-year-old American girl online

- the man increased communication

- over time, the man asked the girl to send naked photos and videos of herself

- the man made threats in order to receive them

- the girl's parents discovered the relationship and reported it to their local police

On Wednesday, January 29, 2020, the Toronto Police Service Child Exploitation Section executed a search warrant at a home and arrested Kenneth Arseneault-Lewis, 32, of Toronto.

He is charged with :

1) Luring a child under 16
2) Luring a child under 18
3) Extortion
4) Possession of Child Pornography
5) Access Child Pornography

He is scheduled to appear in court on Friday, February 14, 2020, at College Park Courts, at 10:00 a.m.

Man wanted, Usman Oladipupo Kassim, 38, aka Olatunde Adeniyi

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of a man wanted in an assault investigation.

On Saturday, January 25, 2020, at approximately 11:30 p.m., Usman Oladipupo Kassim, 38, of Woodbridge, is alleged to have assaulted another person.

He is wanted for:

1) Assault
2) four counts of Fail to Comply with Release Order
3) Criminal Harassment

He is described as 6'4", 190 lbs., with brown eyes, a shaved head, and black goatee.

He frequents the area of Toronto and is also known as Olatunde Adeniyi. He is considered violent and dangerous.

Man wanted on Canada-wide warrant, Richard Cooper, 30

The Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (R.O.P.E.) Squad is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a man wanted on a Canada-wide warrant.

Richard Cooper, 30, is wanted for breaching the conditions of his statutory release from prison.

He is described as, 5’10”, 205 lbs., with short brown hair and blue eyes.

He has several tattoos which include a money sign skull and Jessica Rabbit on his right arm. He has five stars with rainbow-coloured brass knuckles on his left arm, an eye on his right upper arm and “COOPER” on his right forearm. He also has an anchor on his right thumb, a fairy on his right calf and a devil with a pitchfork and flames on his upper back.

He is serving a four-year and one month sentence for:

1) Sexual Interference
2) Control Movement to Compel Prostitution
3) Traffic Persons for Material Under 18 years of Age

The offender is known to frequent the Toronto area.

The Toronto Police Service is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a man who is wanted in a firearms investigation.

The man has been identified as Quorde Bowen, 20, of Toronto. He is wanted by officers for:

1) two counts of Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm in a Motor Vehicle
2) two counts of Possession of a loaded Prohibited or Restricted Firearm
3) two counts of Careless Storage of a Firearm
4) two counts of Possession of Firearm Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized
5) two counts of Unauthorized Possession of Prohibited Device or Ammunition
6) two counts of Unauthorized Storage of Prohibited Device
7) one count of Possession of a Firearm Knowing Serial Number has been Tampered
8) one count of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000.00

He is described as 5’7", 120 lbs., brown hair, and brown eyes.

He is considered violent, armed and dangerous. If located, do not approach. Call 9-1-1 immediately.

The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance locating a missing boy.

Raymond Igharo, 17, was last seen on Wednesday, February 12, 2020, at 7p.m. in the Pharmacy Avenue and Danforth Avenue area.

Raymond Igharo is described as 5’05”, 141 lbs, thin build, with short dark hair. There is not a clothing description at this time.

Police are concerned for his safety.

Family Day On-Street Parking Enforcement

The Toronto Police Service Parking Enforcement Unit will not be enforcing the following on-street parking bylaws during the Family Day public holiday on Monday, February 17, 2020:

- Pay-and-Display/Metered Areas
- Rush-Hour Routes
- Posted signs indicating Monday to Friday regulations

All other areas and parking offences will continue to be enforced.

Identity sought of man in robbery investigation, Keele Street and Sheppard Avenue West area, Updated photos

The Toronto Police Service requests the public’s assistance identifying a man as part of a robbery investigation.

On Friday, February 7, 2020, at approximately 2 p.m., officers responded to a call for a robbery in the Keele Street and Sheppard Avenue West area.

It is reported that:

- an 87-year-old woman entered the lobby of an apartment building

- she was approached by an unknown man

- she was thrown from her walker onto the ground

- she was robbed of personal items and memorabilia from her late husband

- the suspect fled through the front door


Updated images of the suspect have been captured by CCTV.

He is described as being tall, with a heavy build, wearing oval shaped glasses. He was wearing a black 'Northface' winter jacket, with the hood up, a grey 'Jordan' baseball cap, with a gold round sticker on the brim of the hat, a two-tone dark and light coloured scarf covering his face, white gloves, dark pants, and black and white running shoes.

Man arrested in Fraud investigation, Arash Mahdieh, 38, Police concerned there may be other victims

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an ongoing Fraud investigation.

It is alleged that:

- in February 2015, a man met a woman and purported himself to be an investor named "Ari Archer"

- the woman gave the man $59,000 to invest

- a short time later, the woman began to question his legitimacy and confronted the man asking for her money back

- the man continued his ruse claiming the money was tied up in the investment

In September 2019, the Toronto Police Service became involved.

On Tuesday, September 10, 2019, Arash Mahdieh, 38, of Toronto, was arrested.

He was charged with:

1) Fraud - Over ($5000)

He appeared in court on Wednesday, October 23, 2019, at Old City Hall, in courtroom 111, at 10 a.m.

Police are concerned there may be other victims.

Attempted Murder Investigation, Weston Road and Oak Street, Man Wanted, Samuel Smith, 24

The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a wanted man.

On Friday, February 14, 2020, at approximately 1:30 p.m., police responded to a violent assault in the Weston Road and Oak Street area.

It is reported that:

- a man broke into an apartment and violently attacked a woman
- after the attack, he fled the scene in an unknown direction
- the victim and the man are known to each other

The investigation remains ongoing.

Samuel Smith, 24 is wanted for:

1) Attempt Murder
2) Aggravated Assault
3) Threaten Death
4) Break and Enter
5) Unlawfully in a Dwelling-House
6) Mischief Under $5000.00
7) Fail to Comply Probation
8) Breach of Recognizance

He is described as 6’2, 160-170 lbs, short black hair, brown eyes and has a scar on his left cheek. Unknown clothing description.

If seen do not approach and call 9-1-1.

Man arrested and charged with Child Pornography, Neil Mains, 42

On Thursday, February 6, 2020, as part of an investigation into the possession of child sexual abuse material, members of the Toronto Police Service Child Exploitation Section executed a Criminal Code search warrant in the Kingston Road and Main Street area.

It is alleged that:

- a man accessed, possessed, and made available child sexual abuse material

Neil Mains, 42, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with:

1. Possession Child Pornography
2. Access Child Pornography
3. Make Available Child Pornography

He appeared in court at College Park, on Friday, February 7, 2020, at 10 a.m., room 501.
