The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance locating a missing Female.

Jordana Floros, 52, was last seen on Tuesday, April 16, 2019, at 10:31 p.m., in the Keele Street and Wilson Avenue area.

She is described as 5’2", with an average build, and shoulder length grey hair. She was last seen wearing a pink and grey striped hat, pink coat, red scarf, and beige pants.

Police are concerned for his safety.

Public Safety Alert, Lost/Stolen medication

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of a quantity of lost medication.

On Thursday, April 18, 2019, at 3:30 p.m., a container of Hydromorphone was lost in the Cedarbrae Mall area.

The pills/capsules could be harmful/fatal if ingested, especially to children. The drug is an opioid used to relieve moderate to severe pain and the side effects include; nausea, vomiting and severe stomach pain.

Personal Injury Fail To Remain Collision #25/2019, College Street and Spadina Avenue, Update, Julian Clarke, 26, arrested

On Sunday, April 14, 2019, at 1:51 a.m., police responded to a call for a Personal Injury Collision that occurred on College Street and Spadina Avenue.

Julian Clarke, 26, of Toronto, has been arrested. He is charged with:

1. Dangerous Driving Cause Bodily Harm
2. Leaving the Scene of an Accident Causing Bodily Harm

He will appear at Old City Hall on Friday, April 19, 2019, at 10 a.m., in room 111.

Investigators are interested in speaking to anyone who may have information about his whereabouts on Sunday, April 14, 2019, the date of the collision.

The Toronto Police Service requests the public’s assistance locating a missing man.

Adolf Buettner, 85, was last seen on Thursday, April 18, 2019, at approximately 1:30 p.m., in the Kingston Road and Brimley Road area.

He is described as 5’8”, 200 lbs., heavy build, brown eyes, with short salt and pepper hair. Last seen wearing a black jacket (leather body with wool sleeves), button up shirt, light coloured slacks with suspenders. He may be driving a silver Honda Civic, licence ATCB 748.

Police are concerned for his safety.

Man charged after attempting to steal a fire truck, Cathedral Bluffs Park

The Toronto Police Service would like to inform the public of an arrest made in an attempt theft investigation.

On Friday, April 19, 2019, at 8:18 a.m., officers responded to a call for an unknown trouble in the Cathedral Bluffs Park area.

It is alleged that:

- a man called 9-1-1 to report he was trapped on the cliffs

- emergency crews responded and began to search for him

- he climbed into an unattended fire truck and tried to operate it

Jermaine Nichols, 40, of Toronto, has been charged with:

1) Attempt Theft Over
2) Fail to Comply with Recognizance

He appeared in court at Old City Hall on Friday, April 19, 2019, at 10 a.m., in room 101.

Gregory Charczuk, 14, was last seen on Thursday, April 18, 2019, at 5 p.m., in the Roncesvalles Avenue and Fern Avenue area.

He is described as 6'0", 150 lbs., with short brown hair. He was last seen wearing black jeans, a red and black shirt and a black toque.

Police are concerned for his safety.

Missing boy located, Roncesvalles Avenue and Fern Avenue, Gregory Charczuk, 14

Uber driver arrested in two sexual assault investigations, Taneem Aziz, 36, now facing charges

The Toronto Police Service would like to inform the public of an arrest made in two sexual assault investigations.

On Thursday, September 6, 2018, at approximately 1:15 a.m., officers responded to a call for a sexual assault in the Dundas Street East and Sackville Street area.

It is alleged that:

- a 24-year-old woman was waiting for an Uber she had ordered

- she entered a black SUV believed to be her driver

- he drove away not allowing her an opportunity to leave the SUV

- he drove to a secluded spot where he sexually assaulted her

- he continued to drive around

- she was finally allowed to exit the SUV, she then called police

On Monday, April 8, 2019, at 1 p.m., officers began an investigation into a sexual assault in the Royal York Road and Evans Avenue area.

It is alleged:

- a 21-year-old woman entered a black SUV driven by a man

- The man drove her away from Toronto not allowing her to exit the SUV

- he took her to a fast food restaurant parking lot in Mississauga

- the woman tried to get assistance from a bystander

- he then drove her to a secluded side street

- he sexually assaulted her

The woman was dropped off later that morning, she then contacted police.

Taneem Aziz, 36, of Mississauga, was arrested and charged with:

1. two counts of Sexual Assault
2. Forcible Confinement
3. Extortion

He is scheduled to appear at Toronto West Court on Thursday, May 23, 2019, at 10 a.m., in room 204.

He was employed as an Uber driver.

Police believe there may be other victims.

Samuel Nsiah, 32, was last seen on Thursday, April 18, 2019, at 4 p.m., in the Kipling Avenue and Finch Avenue West area.

He is described as 6’1”, with a medium build, with short black curly hair, and a scar under his left eye and cheek. He was last seen wearing a black jacket with a fur trimmed hood, and white 'Adidas' running shoes.

Police are concerned for his safety.

Traffic Restrictions and Security Enhancements for NHL and NBA games, Sunday, April 21, 2019, Scotiabank Arena

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of additional traffic restrictions and security enhancements around the Scotiabank Arena, which will be in place for the Sunday, April 21 game at 3 p.m., between the Toronto Maple Leafs vs. the Boston Bruins as well as the 7 p.m. tailgate party for the Toronto Raptors vs. the Orlando Magic game.

Road closures and restrictions will begin at Noon and remain in effect until approximately 11 p.m.:

- York Street closed between Lake Shore Boulevard and Front Street

- Bremner Boulevard closed east of Grand Trunk Crescent

- Area for accessibility pick-up and drop-off on Bay Street near Gate 1

- Area for accessibility for residents/business located on York Street north of Lake Shore Boulevard


Area residents and businesses have been provided security passes.

Police, in partnership with the Scotiabank Arena, as well as the City of Toronto are encouraging people to use public transit or other carpool options.

The public may also notice other enhanced security measures in the surrounding area, including an increased police presence and/or the use of other public and private sector resources.

While there is no imminent threat at this time, security issues are closely monitored and changes will be implemented as required.

Two people wanted in Break and Enter investigation, Bayview Avenue and Eglinton Avenue East

The Toronto Police Service requests the public's assistance in a Break and Enter investigation.

On Friday, April 5, 2019, at 7:20 p.m., officers responded to a call for a break and enter in the Bayview Avenue and Eglinton Avenue East area.

It is reported that:

- two people approached a residential home

- they rang the doorbell to determine if anyone was home

- no one answered

- they then broke into the home through a side door

- they encountered a resident in the home

- both of them immediately fled the home

Suspect #1 is described as white, 5'11", 28 - 30, medium build, brown hair, with a brown goatee/beard. He was wearing a blue hooded sweater with white writing, black pants, and white running shoes.

Suspect #2 is described as male or female, slim build, with an unknown complexion. They were wearing a black jacket, black hat, brown leather backpack, blue pants, black/grey sneakers.

Hally Maynard, 19, and was last seen on Wednesday, April 17, 2019, at 2:40 a.m., in the Yonge Street and Eglinton Avenue area.

She is described as 5’4”, very slim build, long black hair, and brown eyes. There are no clothing descriptions at this time

Homicide #19/2019, 571 Vaughan Road

On Sunday, April 21, 2019, at 2:49 a.m., officers responded to a call for the sound of gunshots at 571 Vaughan Road.

Officers arrived to find a man suffering life-threatening injuries from gunshot wounds. He was rushed to hospital via emergency run but succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased in hospital.

The victim has been identified as Jermaine Gerard Skeete, 34, of Toronto.

A post-mortem examination has been scheduled for Tuesday, April 23, 2019.

Investigators wish to speak to anyone who may have specific information on the victim's activities in the day leading up to his death.
