Man wanted for Assault with a Weapon, Yonge Street and Sheppard Avenue

The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public's assistance identifying a man wanted in an Assault with a Weapon investigation.

It is alleged that:

- on Friday, January 12, 2018, between the hours of 11 p.m. and 11:30 p.m., two men were at a restaurant near the intersection of Yonge Street and Sheppard Avenue

- one man got into a verbal dispute with a 26-year-old man and broke a bottle over his head

- the 26-year-old man was then assaulted by multiple unknown men

The man, allegedly responsible for breaking the bottle over the victim's head, is described as being in his early thirties, 5'9", 200 lbs., with a heavy build and short brown hair.

His photograph has been released.

Homicide #43/2018, Bloor Subway Station, Police appeal for witnesses

On Monday, June 18, 2018, at 10:22 a.m., police responded to a See Ambulance call on the eastbound platform of the Bloor Subway Station.

It is alleged that:

- a man caused another man to fall onto the subway tracks

- the man was hit by a train

- he was injured, taken to hospital and succumbed to his injuries

The other man was arrested at the scene and taken into custody.

A man in his 50's has been charged with:

1) First Degree Murder

He will appear in court at College Park on Tuesday, June 19, 2018, at 10 a.m., in room 501.

Investigators know there were people who witnessed this incident take place. Unfortunately they left the station before investigators could arrive. Police request anyone who saw this incident to call Detective Rob North, Homicide, at 416 808-7400.

Two men wanted in Attempt Murder investigation, McCowan Road and Alton Towers Circle area, Tarrick Rhoden, 23, and T’Quan Robertson, 23, Photographs of men released

The Toronto Police Service is requesting assistance locating two men wanted in an Attempt Murder investigation.

See previous release.

Tarrick Rhoden, 23, and T’Quan Robertson, 23, both of Toronto, are each wanted for:

1) Discharge Firearm with Intent
2) Attempt Murder
3) Two counts of Aggravated Assault

Tarrick Rhoden, 23, is described as 6'1", 181 lbs.

T’Quan Robertson, 23, is described as 5'8", 130 lbs.

Both men are considered to be armed and, if seen, should not be approached. Members of the public should call 9-1-1 immediately if they see either man.

Police would, once again, like to thank the community which has been extremely helpful with this investigation.

Investigators encourage both men to surrender themselves to police.

Homicide #41/2018, Joseph Perron, 51, Update, Raymond Moore, 42, wanted for Second-Degree Murder, Photograph of man released

On Wednesday, June 13, 2018, at approximately 8:30 p.m., Joseph Perron, 51, was murdered in the 103 West Lodge Avenue area.

Raymond Moore, 42, of Toronto, is wanted on a Canada-wide Warrant for Second-Degree Murder.

He is known to frequent the Parkdale area of Toronto. Police warn he is considered violent. If located, do not approach. Call 9-1-1 immediately.

On Tuesday, June 19, 2018, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., at the Warden Hilltop Community Centre, Deputy Chief of Police Peter Yuen will host a community conversation on the Neighbourhood Officer Program. Called Build The Block T.O., the Toronto Police Service is asking the public to share its thoughts on neighbourhood policing.

After a presentation by Deputy Yuen, members of the community will know why their neighbourhood was chosen for this program and what they can expect in the coming months.

Attendees will then be asked key questions that will help inform how the officers are selected, what training they should have and how best they can serve the public going forward as Toronto Service looks to create an enhanced Neighbourhood Officer program.

The conversation will also be available on social media. You can watch live, by clicking here or follow #BuildTheBlockTO on Twitter.

This is the third of six community conversations. The next three will take place at:

- Kennedy Park Neighbourhood on June 20, 2018
- 4020 Dundas Street West on June 25, 2018
- Chester Le Community Centre on June 26, 2018

Missing girl, Yonge Street and Finch Avenue East area, Lisa Fajardo, 14

The Toronto Police Service is requesting assistance locating a missing girl.

Lisa Fajardo, 14, was last seen on Monday, June 18, 2018, at 10 p.m., in the Yonge Street and Finch Avenue East area.

She is described as 5'4", medium build, straight black hair, wearing dark-grey sweater with black patches at the elbows, white tank top, black skinny jeans, white-and-black Jordan shoes.

Police are concerned for her safety.

Homicide #43/2018, Bloor subway station, Update, John Reszetnik, 57, charged with First-Degree Murder

On Monday, June 18, 2018, at 10:22 a.m., police responded to a See Ambulance call on the eastbound platform of Bloor subway station.

John Reszetnik, 57, of Toronto, has been charged with:

1) First-Degree Murder

Investigators know there were people who witnessed this incident and are asking anyone who saw this incident to call Detective Rob North, Homicide, at 416-808-7400.

Police have yet to identify the victim in this case. Anyone with a friend or family member who may have been at Bloor subway station on Monday, June 18, 2018, at approximately 10 a.m., and has not been heard from since, is asked to contact police at 416-808-7400.

Search warrant executed in 11 Division, Davenport Road and Symington Avenue area, Two loaded firearms seized, Two men arrested, face total of 31 charges

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of recent arrests involving the seizure of firearms.

On Saturday, June 16, 2018, at approximately 10 p.m., officers from the 11 Division Major Crime Unit executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at an address in the Davenport Road and Symington Avenue area.

Two men were arrested.

It is alleged that the following was seized during the execution of the search warrant:

- a loaded Webley revolver
- a loaded CZ semi-automatic handgun
- 14.3 grams of marijuana
- 4.77 grams of Cocaine
- 2.76 grams of crack cocaine
- 26.09 grams of heroin
- $15,155 in Canadian currency

Majed Haj, 23, and Austin Macedo, 19, both of Toronto, were each charged with:

1) two counts of Traffic in Schedule I Substance
2) Traffic in Schedule II Substance
3) Possession of Proceeds Obtained by Crime Exceeding $5000
4) two counts of Possess Weapon Dangerous to Public Peace
5) Possess Firearm With Altered Serial Number
6) two counts of Possess Loaded Regulated Firearm
7) two counts of Possess Prohibited/Restricted Weapon or Device Knowing No Authority
8) two counts of Possess Firearm Other Than Restricted or Prohibited Firearm Without Holding a License

Austin Macedo, 19, of Toronto, was additionally charged with:

1) two counts of Possess Firearm While Prohibited
2) three counts of Breach of Probation

They both appeared in court at Old City Hall on Sunday, June 17, 2018, 10 a.m., room 101

Abdi Dirie, 27, wanted in Sexual Assault and Extortion investigation, Liberty Village area

The Toronto Police Service is requesting assistance locating a man wanted in a Sexual Assault and Extortion investigation.

It is alleged that:

- on Wednesday, April 4, 2018, a 27-year-old man and a 77-year-old man were at an address in the Liberty Village area

- the 27-year-old man sexually assaulted the 77-year-old man

- he subsequently extorted money from the victim on more than one occasion

On Wednesday, May 16, 2018, police completed a news release and identified the suspect as Abdi Dirie, 27, of Toronto. He is considered violent and dangerous.

He is wanted for the following charges in relation to this case and a previous incident:

1) Three counts of Extortion
2) Sexual Assault
3) Three counts of Fail to Comply Probation
4) Assault
5) Two counts of Fail to Comply Probation

The Toronto Police Service is requesting assistance identifying a woman who was located in the Kipling Avenue and Rexdale Boulevard area.

On Tuesday, June 19, 2018, at 8 a.m., a woman was located with no identification. She is unable to advise who she is or where she lives.

She is described as 25-30, 5’7”, 150 lbs., short hair, round face. She is wearing a white T-shirt, green pyjama pants, flip-flops.

The Toronto Police Service is requesting assistance locating a man wanted in a Sexual Assault investigation.

It is alleged that:

- on Sunday, May 13, 2018, a 32-year-old woman was in an apartment in the Keele Street and Eglinton Avenue West area with a man and another woman

- she went to sleep and the man sexually assaulted her

It is further alleged that:

- the man has been identified as Jerome Ray Mullings, 30, of Toronto

He is considered violent and dangerous. He is wanted for:

1) Sexual Assault
2) Theft Under $5,000
3) Two counts of Fail to Comply with a Recognizance

The following charges are also outstanding:

1) Assault Causing Bodily Harm
2) Possession of a Prohibited Weapon
3) Possession of a Schedule I substance
4) Possession of a Schedule II substance
5) Traffic in a Schedule I substance
6) Traffic in a Schedule II substance
7) Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
8) Obstruct Peace Officer

His photograph is released.

On Wednesday, June 20, 2018, at 6 p.m., please join Councillor Jim Hart of the Toronto Police Services Board and Chief Mark Saunders in Theatres 1 and 2 at the Toronto Police College, 70 Birmingham Street, as they congratulate 63 young people from across the city on graduating from our 2018 Youth in Policing Initiative Winter Program.

These students were assigned to various Divisions and the Mounted Unit and gained job experiences and life skills through their work with police officers and community members. They also had a chance to partake in several crime prevention initiatives, community events and training opportunities.

The Youth in Policing Initiative is part of the Government of Ontario’s Youth Opportunities Strategy. This strategy is helping to build stronger communities by establishing and expanding community programs that help youth achieve a brighter future.

The young people in this program, aged 15-18, represented neighbourhoods throughout the city: Mount Olive-Silverstone-Jamestown, Thistletown-Beaumond Heights, Elms-Old Rexdale, Victoria Village, Flemingdon Park, Thorncliffe Park, Regent Park, West Hill, Woburn, Eglington East and Scarborough Village.

The Toronto Police Service requests assistance locating a man wanted in a Threatening and Criminal Harassment investigation.

On Tuesday, June 19, 2018, at approximately 7:05 p.m., officers responded to a call for harassment in the Bathurst Street and Lake Shore Boulevard West area.

It is alleged that:

- over the past few months, a woman has been contacted by a man

- he has called and emailed over 200 times

- he has threatened her with bodily harm

- he published an intimate photo of her without her consent

Giuseppe Ferraro, 38, of Toronto, is wanted for:

1) Harassment by Repeated Communication with Person
2) Uttering Threats Bodily Harm
3) Publish Intimate Image without Consent

He is described as 5’10”, 170 lbs., short dark hair. His photograph is released.

He is to be considered violent and dangerous. If located, do not approach. Call 9-1-1 immediately.

Dennis Chow, 40, was last seen on Tuesday, June 19, 2018, at approximately 8:30 p.m., in the McCowan Road and Ellesmere Road area.

He is described as 5’8”, thin build, black hair, glasses. He was last seen wearing a white-and-black checkered shirt and dark pants.

Police are concerned for his safety.

The Toronto Police Service is requesting assistance locating a missing man.

Carleton Nandramsingh, 67, was last seen on Monday, June 18, 2018, at 10 p.m., in the Eglinton Avenue East and McCowan Road area.

He is described as 5'9", medium build, brown eyes, long dyed brown hair worn in a ponytail. He was last seen wearing a red short-sleeve shirt, red basketball shorts, blue Under Armour slip-on shoes with logo on top of the foot, black socks, silver chain with a silver cross pendant.

He has a “Forever Young” tattoo on his right forearm

He’s also known to travel via the TTC and frequent the downtown core.

Police are concerned for his safety.
