Amanda O’Dette, 16, was last seen on Monday, November 20, 2017, in the Dundas Street West and Dovercourt Road area.

She is described as 5’6", 125 lbs., thin build, long straight dirty blonde hair, blue eyes. She was last seen wearing an olive bomber jacket with fur trim, green/black camouflage tights, black-and-red Air Jordan runners, black Blue Jays baseball cap.

Police are concerned for her safety.

Homicide #55/2017, Gennela Square and Morning View Trail area, Brandon Clarke, 30, Photograph released

The Toronto Police Service is requesting assistance with a Homicide investigation.

It is reported that:

- on Tuesday, November 21, 2017, just before midnight, police were called to the Gennela Square and Morning View Trail area for a sound of gunshots

- once on scene, police located Brandon Clarke, 30, in medical distress

- he was taken to hospital with gunshot wounds and succumbed to his injuries

- the single suspect fled the area on foot, last seen at Gennela Square and Morning View Trail

The suspect is described as 5'9"-5'10", slim build, wearing dark clothing.

Mikayla Bailey, 12, was last seen on Wednesday, November 22, 2017, at 3:15 p.m., in the Dufferin Street and Bloor Street West area.

She is described as 5’7”, brown hair with bleached tips, medium build. She was last seen wearing ripped purple jeans, white tank top, grey Nike zip-up sweater with black line across the front.

Police are concerned for her safety.

- on Wednesday, November 22, 2017, a man got into an argument with a 23-year-old man

- he then stabbed the 23-year-old man, resulting in serious injuries

He is described as 6’, 175 lbs., shoulder-length brown braided hair, brown eyes.

The Toronto Police Service requests assistance identifying a man wanted in an ongoing Sexual Assault investigation.

On Wednesday, November 1, 2017, at approximately 11:35 a.m., officers responded to a call for a Sexual Assault in the King Street West and Bathurst Street area.

It is reported that:

- a 28-year-old woman was waiting to get off a TTC bus

- she was approached by a man

- he sexually assaulted her

He is described as approximately 35-40, 5’11" - 6’0", heavy build, beard. He was wearing an unzipped navy windbreaker, white T-shirt with black writing on the front, blue jeans, black head covering, black framed glasses, and carried a black knapsack with a white Nike swoosh on the back.

Investigators believe he works, lives or frequents, the Bathurst Street and King Street West area.

On Thursday, November 23, 2017, at 6 p.m., the 10th annual Chief’s Gala for Victim Services Toronto will take place at the Beanfield Centre, Exhibition Place.

The gala is the premier fundraiser for Victim Services Toronto, raising $1.5 million over the last nine years. The funds raised go to supporting the services provided to victims of crime and sudden tragedy in Toronto. Victim Services Toronto is the only agency in the city providing immediate on-site support to victims, offering invaluable programs and helping close to 20,000 victims annually.

This year’s event, hosted by Ben Mulroney, will feature entertainment by Kayla Diamond and remarks from Mayor John Tory and, in his first public appearance since his kidney transplant, Chief Mark Saunders.

The Toronto Police Service is requesting assistance identifying a man involved in a Sexual Assault investigation.

It is reported that:

- on Monday, October 30, 2017, at approximately 12:40 p.m., a 28-year-old woman was walking in the Sherbourne Street and Gerrard Street East area

- a man approached the woman and sexually assaulted her

- the man was last seen running northbound on Sherbourne Street

The man is described as approximately 5'6", 150 lbs., 40-45, medium build. He was wearing black pants, grey hooded jacket, white head covering.

Three men wanted in shooting investigation, Queen Street West and Close Avenue area

The Toronto Police Service requests assistance with a shooting investigation.

On Tuesday, November 21, 2017, at approximately 6:37 p.m., officers responded to a call for a shooting in the Queen Street West and Close Avenue area.

It is reported that:

- two men were walking down the street

- they were approached by a third man

- the third man produced a handgun and started shooting at the two men

- the two men also produced guns but were chased by the third man

- a 17-year-old female bystander sustained a minor injury, possibly from shrapnel

The third man, who shot at the two men, is described as dark completion, 15-20, slim build, short black hair, wearing white T-shirt, black long-sleeve zip-up sweater, dark pants, black shoes. He was armed with a handgun.

The first man shot at is described as tall, darker skin, late teens to early twenties, medium build, black hooded sweater, dark baggie pants with white pattern on the right back pocket, white shoes. He may be armed with a handgun.

The second man shot at is shorter than the first, darker skin, late teens to early twenties, medium build, black hooded sweater, dark pants, black-and-white shoes.

All three men are considered armed and dangerous. If located, do not approach. Call 9-1-1 immediately.

Beaches Santa Claus Parade, Sunday, November 26, 2017, Road closures

On Sunday, November 26, 2017, Community Centre 55 and Businesses of Kingston Road Village will hold their annual Santa Claus Parade.

The road closures will take place from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m:

- westbound Kingston Road (eastbound will operate in a limited capacity) from Main Street to Victoria Park Avenue
- Walter Street will be closed from Kingston Road to Lyall Avenue
- Kimberley Avenue will be closed from Lyall Avenue to Swanwick Avenue
- Swanwick Avenue will be closed from Kimberley Avenue to Main Street as the parade ends and disperses.

Parade Route:
Formation Area: Neil McNeil High School
Northbound: Victoria Park Avenue
Westbound: Kingston Road
Northbound: Walter Street
Westbound: Lyall Avenue
Northbound: Kimberly Avenue
Dispersal: Swanwick Avenue near Centre 55.

The TTC will experience minor delays during this event.

Motorists are advised to consider the road closures when planning their travels.

Weston Santa Claus parade, Sunday, November 26, 2017, Road closures

On Sunday, November 26, 2017, the Weston Village BIA will host the 38th Annual Weston Santa Claus Parade.

From 12 p.m. until 2 p.m., staging of the parade will take place on Weston Road, between St. Phillips Road and Church Street. The parade will start at 2 p.m. and proceed southbound on Weston Road to the dispersal area at Sidney Belsey Crescent and in the parking lot of the Portage Trail School.

The parade is expected to conclude at 4:30 p.m.

Road closures will take place on Weston Road, from St. Phillips Road to Jane Street.

Motorists can expect delays in the area and should consider alternate methods of transportation.

TTC service will be adjusted. Visit www.ttc.ca for more information.

The event will take place regardless of weather conditions.
