Police request assistance with Sexual Assault investigation, Rosedale Valley Road and Bayview Avenue area, Update, Security camera video and images of man released

The Toronto Police Service is making the public aware of a Sexual Assault investigation.

It is reported that:

- on Sunday, July 30, 2017, at approximately 4:30 a.m., a man met a woman in the Yonge Street and Queen Street West area

- the man led the woman to St. James Cemetery

- he then forced her into a wooded area off Rosedale Valley Road and Bayview Avenue

- the man sexually assaulted the woman

The man is described as 31-35, approximately 5'9", unshaven, short dark hair, medium build, with a potbelly, wearing a dark zippered hooded sweater, grey shirt, blue jeans and dark shoes.

Missing woman, Toronto Coach Terminal, 610 Bay Street, Kimberley Brunette, 55

The Toronto Police Service is requesting assistance locating a missing woman.

Kimberley Brunette, 55, was last seen boarding a bus in North Bay, Ontario, heading to Toronto. She arrived at the Toronto Coach terminal, 610 Bay Street, at approximately 7:10 a.m. on Thursday, August 3, 2017.

She is described as 5’6”, 140 lbs., short brown hair. She was last seen wearing white jeans with studs down the sides, black hoodie, red-and-white Croc shoes. She also had a purple carry-on bag with wheels.

Police are concerned for her safety.

Kimberley Brunette, 55, was last seen boarding a bus in North Bay, Ontario, heading to Toronto. She arrived at the Toronto Coach terminal, 610 Bay Street, at approximately 7:10 a.m. on Thursday, August 3, 2017.

Damian Reyes, 39, was last seen on Tuesday, August 1, 2017, at 4:30 p.m., in the Kingston Road and Orchard Park Drive area.

He is described as 5’5”, 180 lbs., medium build, brown eyes, short black hair and goatee. He was last seen wearing a black-and-white striped T-shirt, light-coloured pants and grey shoes.

Police are concerned for his safety.

Two men, 18, arrested in shooting investigation, Cameron Street, north of Queen Street West, Face total of 24 charges

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of arrests in a shooting investigation.

It is alleged that:

- on Friday, July 28, 2017, at approximately 12:10 a.m., four men were involved in discharging a firearm multiple times in the Cameron Street, north of Queen Street West area

- a motor vehicle was struck multiple times, causing significant damage

- no one was struck with any rounds

- the suspects then fled the area

On Wednesday, August 2, 2017, Kevin Pacheco, 18, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with:

1) Discharge Firearm with Intent to Wound
2) Reckless Discharge of a Firearm
3) Possession of a Firearm Knowing its Possession is unauthorized
4) Unauthorized Possession of a Restricted Firearm
5) Possession of a Weapon Dangerous to the Public Peace
6) Point Firearm
7) Possession of a Firearm Knowing its Possession is unauthorized
9) Unauthorized possession of a Restricted firearm
10) Possession of a Loaded Firearm
11) Careless Handling of a Firearm
12) Possession of a Firearm with an Altered Serial Number
13) Possession of a Firearm Obtained by Crime
14) Possession of a weapon Dangerous to the public Peace
15) Carry Concealed Weapon

It is further alleged that:

- when he was arrested, a loaded .45 calibre semi-automatic pistol was seized

- it contained six rounds of ammunition in the magazine

- also seized was protective body armour

On Wednesday, August 2, 2017, Dravid Collis, 18, of Toronto, was arrested and is charged with:

1) Discharge Firearm with Intent to Wound
2) Reckless Discharge of a Firearm
3) Possession of a Firearm Knowing its Possession is unauthorized
4) Unauthorized Possession of a Restricted Firearm
5) Possession of a Weapon Dangerous to the Public Peace
6) Point Firearm
7) Possession of a Weapon Dangerous to the Public Peace
8) Carry Concealed Weapon
9) Possession of Prohibited Weapon

It is further alleged that:

- a spring-loaded folding knife was seized during his arrest

They were scheduled to appear in court at Old City Hall on Thursday, August 3, 2017, 2 p.m.

Rush-hour route enforcement campaign, Monday, July 31, 2017, to Friday, August 4, 2017, Results

The enforcement of the city’s rush-hour routes, and other traffic and parking offences, continues to be a priority for the Toronto Police Service.

From Monday July 31, 2017, to Friday August 4, 2017, the Service launched a heightened rush-hour route enforcement campaign that focused on traffic congestion and gridlock.

Parking Enforcement Officers and members from Traffic Services saturated the downtown core during morning and afternoon rush hours.

Rush-hour route enforcement campaign results:

Parking tickets issued: 1,714
Vehicles towed: 382
Traffic tickets issued: 80

"Rush-hour routes that are clear of parked vehicles contribute to an efficient, liveable and safe city. TPS Parking Enforcement will continue to allocate resources and enforcement to where it is needed most to reduce gridlock and congestion," said Brian Moniz of Parking Enforcement.

Daniel Alonzi, 22, was last seen on Saturday, August 5, 2017, at 12:08 p.m., in the Kipling Avenue and Bloor Street West area.

He is described as 6'0", 130 lbs., long brown curly hair possibly in a ponytail. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and black shirt.

Assistance sought identifying man wanted in Robbery investigation, King Street West and Bathurst Street area, Security camera images of wanted man released

The Toronto Police Service is requesting assistance identifying a man wanted in a Robbery investigation.

It is reported that:

- on Thursday, August 3, 2017, at approximately 10:20 p.m., a man met a 29-year-old woman inside a condo building in the King Street West and Bathurst Street area

- the man took a quantity of cash that belonged to the woman, then pushed and slapped the woman as he escaped

The man is described as late 20s, slim build, full beard, black facial hair, black hair tied in a bun. He had tattoos of wings on his back, nondescript tattoos on bicep as well as chest area and forearm. He was wearing a black shirt with abstract patterns in white, black pants, black shoes.

He may be staying in the King Street West and Portland Avenue area and possibly traveling from Detroit.

Security camera images of the man have been released.

The Toronto Police Service is requesting assistance locating a man wanted in an Attempt Murder investigation.

On Saturday, August 5, 2017, at 9:10 p.m., officers responded to the Lansdowne Avenue and Davenport Road area for a wounding call.

It is alleged that:

- a man assaulted a 49-year-old man

- he was last seen travelling southbound on Lansdowne Avenue

- the man has been identified as Whitley Hunter, 45, of Toronto.

He is wanted for:

1) Attempt Murder

He is considered armed, violent and dangerous. If located, do not approach. Call 9-1-1 immediately.

Assistance sought identifying man in road-rage incident, Lake Shore Boulevard West and Strachan Avenue, Photograph of man released

The Toronto Police Service is requesting assistance identifying a man in a road-rage incident.

It was reported that:

- on Thursday, August 4, 2017, two men became involved in a verbal altercation while driving westbound on Lake Shore Boulevard West

- when the vehicles came to a stop at the red light at the intersection of Strachan Avenue and Lake Shore Boulevard West, one of the men exited his vehicle and struck the passenger-side mirror of the other man's vehicle with a baseball bat

- the man with the baseball bat then got back into his vehicle, a white Acura. He was last seen travelling northbound on Strachan Avenue

A photograph of the man with the baseball bat is released.

Man wanted in series of commercial Break-and-Enters in North York, Security camera images of man released

The Toronto Police Service is seeking assistance identifying a man believed to be responsible for a series of commercial Break-and-Enters in North York.

It is reported that:

- between Wednesday, August 2, 2017, and Saturday, August 5, 2017, the man committed three commercial entries in the Avenue Road and Brooke Avenue and Yonge Street and Lawrence Avenue areas

- he gained entry into stores during the early-morning hours

- he was able to obtain a quantity of cell phone products from each location

He is described as 40-50, light complexion, thin-to-medium build, dark-brown hair with a receding hairline and well-trimmed beard. He was last seen wearing a white dress shirt with vertical stripes, dark pants, black shoes.

Tadeusz Daraz, 65, was last seen on Sunday, July 30, 2017, at 4 p.m., in the Humber Boulevard and Weston Road area.

He is described as 5'7", 160 lbs., slim build, brown eyes, salt-and-pepper hair, goatee/moustache, tattoo of the letter "K" on one of his calves and a tattoo of a cat's face on the ankle of the opposite leg.

He was last seen wearing a horizontal striped golf shirt, grey/brown shorts, sandals, gold chain with a cross pendant, baseball cap, prescription glasses. He speaks English and Polish.

Police are concerned for his safety.
