This is the latest instalment of 14 Division's "Fugitive Friday." We are looking for Humza Tahir, 23, of Toronto.

He is wanted on the strength of a Warrant for:

1) Assault
2) Forcible Confinement
3) Mischief Under
4) Fail To Comply Probation

He is described as 6'0", 181 lbs., black hair, brown eyes, scar on left eyebrow, birthmark on upper left arm.

He is considered violent. If located, do not approach. Call 9-1-1.

Arrests in multiple armed robberies throughout GTA, Two men face total of 46 charges

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of arrests in an investigation into multiple armed robberies.

From Saturday, May 6, 2017 to Thursday, June 22, 2017, the Toronto Police Service, with assistance from Peel Regional Police and York Regional Police Service, undertook this investigation.

It is alleged that:

- men would stalk their victims outside banks

- as the victims entered the bank vestibule area, the men would violently rob them of their belongings and money

- the men used a firearm and hatchet-style knife in the robberies

On Thursday, June 22, 2017, at 2:54 a.m., Mohamad Farah, 20, and Mohamed Ulusow, 22, both of Toronto, were arrested and charged with:

1) 12 counts of Robbery with a firearm
2) 11 counts of Robbery with an offensive weapon
3) 23 counts of Disguise with the intent to commit indictable offence

They were scheduled to appear in court at 2201 Finch Avenue West on Thursday, June 22, 2017, 10 a.m.

Police request assistance with Aggravated Assault investigation, Bloor Street West and Devonshire Place area, Two men arrested, three suspects outstanding, Update, Security camera images of three outstanding suspects released

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an ongoing Aggravated Assault investigation.

It is alleged that:

- on Saturday, June 17, 2017, at 2:24 a.m., a group of men attacked a 30-year-old man on Bloor Street West at Devonshire Place

Two men have been identified and arrested.

Police are requesting assistance identifying three suspects. Security camera images of the three suspects have been released

Pride Streetfair Friday, June 23, 2017, to Sunday, June 25, 2017, Road closures

Pride Toronto will celebrate Pride Month with a “Streetfair” in the Church/Wellesley Village community.

The road closure for this streetfair will begin at 6 p.m., Friday, June 23, 2017, and end at 6 a.m., Monday, June 26, 2017.

As of 6 p.m., Friday, June 23, 2017, Church Street will be fully closed to all vehicular traffic, from the north side of Carlton Street to the south side of Hayden Street. Wellesley Street East will also be closed from Yonge Street to Jarvis Street.

TTC buses will not have access to Wellesley subway station. All buses will be re-routed.

Vehicles in the area may experience traffic delays.

This event will proceed regardless of weather conditions.

Pride Trans March, Friday, June 23, 2017, Road closures

Pride Toronto has organized the 2017 Trans March, which will take place on Friday, June 23, 2017.

It begins at the Pride Toronto Street Festival North Stage, on Church Street, near Isabella Street, at 7 p.m. It will then proceed through the downtown core, and concludes at Allan Gardens at 8 p.m.

A rolling road closure will assist the marchers.

The rolling road closure route includes:
- Church Street, from Isabella Street to Bloor Street East
- Bloor Street East, from Church Street to Yonge Street
- Yonge Street, from Bloor Street to Carlton Street
- Carlton Street, from Yonge Street to Sherbourne Street

Motorists should expect delays along the route in the downtown core.

This event will proceed regardless of weather conditions.

Pride and Remembrance Run, Saturday, June 24, 2017, Road closures

On Saturday, June 24, 2017, at 10 a.m., the annual Pride and Remembrance Run will take place. The event will consist of a 5km road race and walk.

Road closures will take place from 8:30 a.m., to 12 p.m., as follows:

- 8:30 a.m., to 12 p.m.: Wellesley Street East will be closed from Yonge Street to Jarvis Street

- 9 a.m., to 12 p.m.: Wellesley Street East will be closed from Yonge Street to Queen's Park Crescent East, and eastbound and westbound Queen's Park Crescent will be closed from Bloor Street West to College Street

The TTC will experience minor disruptions to some surface routes.

Vehicles in the area may experience traffic delays.

This event will proceed regardless of weather conditions.

George Flowers, 48, extradited to Toronto from Jamaica, Charged with three counts of Aggravated Sexual Assault

The Toronto Police Service would like to advise the public of an arrest in an Aggravated Sexual Assault investigation.

It is alleged that:

- between 1996 and 2012, a man had unprotected sex with women

- the man did not disclose to the women he was HIV positive

On Thursday, June 22, 2017, George Flowers, 48, from Jamaica, was extradited from Jamaica and brought back to Canada. He is charged with

1) three counts of Aggravated Sexual Assault

He was scheduled to appear in court at College Park on Friday, June 23, 2017, 10 a.m., room 501.

Summer Solstice Festival, Saturday, June 24, 2017 from 12 p.m. to 12 a.m, Road closures

On Saturday, June 24, 2017, at 12 p.m., the Summer Solstice Festival will take place in the Junction area.

From Saturday, June 24, 2017, 4 a.m., to Sunday, July 25, 2017, 1 a.m., there will be a full road closure on Dundas Street West, from Keele Street to Quebec Avenue.

The Summer Solstice Festival is a one-day event that involves the following road closures:

Dundas Street West: the north and south curb lanes between Keele Street and Quebec Avenue
Mavety Street: full closure - south of Dundas Street West to first laneway
Medland Street: full closure - south of Dundas Street West to first laneway
Pacific Avenue: full closure – north of Dundas Street West to first laneway
McMurray Avenue: full closure – north of Dundas Street West to first laneway
Heintzman Street: full closure – north of Dundas Street West to first laneway

Motorists can expect delays in the area and should consider alternate methods of transportation. TTC buses may experience delays.

The festival will take place regardless of weather conditions.

Missing man, Pape Avenue/Danforth Avenue area, Ronald Carson, 62

The Toronto Police Service is requesting assistance locating a missing man.

Ronald Carson, 62, left his home on Friday, June 23, 2017, at 7 a.m., from the Danforth Avenue/Pape Avenue area. He was headed towards the Warden Avenue and St. Clair Avenue East area by public transit, but may have become confused and lost due to a closure of the station.

He is described as 5’10", approximately 215 lbs., white hair, blue eyes. He was wearing a red Roots Canada sweater with grey section on the shoulders, and brown shoes. He was carrying a small grey knapsack.

Police are concerned for his safety.

Homicide #22/2017, Dupont Street and Dufferin Street, Louis, also know as Luis, Desjardins, 18, Man, 18, charged with Second-Degree Murder

On Friday, June 23, 2017, at 12:23 a.m., police were called to Dupont Street and Dufferin Street for a stabbing.

It is alleged that:

- an altercation took place in a parking lot

- police arrived on scene and located a man with life-threatening injuries

- the man was rushed to hospital via emergency run

Louis, also know as Luis, Desjardins, 18, of Toronto, succumbed to his injuries, and was pronounced.

Homicide investigators are appealing to witnesses to contact them to assist with the investigation.

Andrew Gomes, 18, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with:

1) Second-Degree Murder

He was scheduled to appear in court at College Park, on Friday, June 23, 2017, 10 a.m., room 507.
