Beatrice Carmona, 13, was last seen on Saturday, July 30, 2016 at 2 p.m., in the Crawford Street and Bloor Street West area.

She is described as 5’10”, stocky build, with long brown hair and hazel/green eyes. She was last seen wearing a blue-and-green tank top and multi-coloured shorts.

Police are concerned for her safety.

Boy, 15, faces four charges in Robbery investigation, Fenside Drive and York Mills Road area

On Saturday, July 30, 2016, at 1:30 a.m., the Toronto Police Service received a call for a robbery with a gun in the Fenside Drive and York Mills Road area.

It is alleged that:

- a boy, 16, and another boy, 17, were sitting on a bench when another boy, 15, pepper-sprayed them, then pointed a firearm at them

- the boy, 15, then took the 17-year-old's wallet, cell phone, necklace and cash

On Saturday, July 30, 2016, at 2:30 a.m., the boy, 15, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with:

1) Robbery with a firearm
2) Robbery with an offensive weapon
3) Administer noxious thing with intent
4) Possession of a prohibited weapon

The boy was scheduled to appear in court at Old City Hall on Saturday, July 30, 2016, 10 a.m., room 101.

He cannot be identified under the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

Missing man, Greenwood Avenue and Dundas Avenue East area, Hin Sy, 92

The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance locating a missing man.

Hin Sy, 92, was last seen on Sunday, July 31, 2016, at approximately 12:30 p.m., in the Greenwood Avenue and Dundas Street East area.

He is described as 5’4”, bald at the top, with grey hair around the sides of his head, grey eyebrows, and is clean-shaven.

He was last seen wearing a grey short-sleeved shirt with buttons, grey-and-black shorts, a black fedora hat, and black shoes.

He does not speak English. He speaks Cantonese and he is familiar with the TTC.

Police are concerned for his safety.

Victor Hugo Armenta Paramo, 38, was last seen on Saturday, July 30, 2016, at approximately 5:30 p.m., in the Dundas Street West and Bathurst Street area.

He is described as 5’7”-5’10”, medium build, and bald. He was last seen wearing a dark-grey or black button-up shirt with blue jeans, carrying a dark-brown or tan shoulder bag. He was wearing a black shoe on his left foot and a walking cast on his right foot.

Police are concerned for his safety.

Police request assistance with shooting investigation, Bathurst Street and College Street area

The Toronto Police Service is requesting assistance with a shooting investigation.

It is reported that:

- on Monday, August 1, 2016, at approximately 3:30 a.m., a 30-year-old man and his friend were in the Bathurst Street and College Street area

- while in the area, the man was shot by an unknown person(s) and was struck once in the chest area

- he walked to a nearby hospital for treatment

- police attended the scene and located 26 shell casings

Personal injury collision #45/2016, The Queensway and Park Lawn Road

On Saturday, July 30, 2016, at 10:48 p.m., police responded to a call for a personal injury collision on The Queensway at Park Lawn Road

It is reported that:

- a 17-year-old boy was driving a 1997 Acura EL, northbound on Park Lawn Road, attempting to make a right turn to eastbound The Queensway

- for reasons not yet determined, the driver lost control of the vehicle and struck a light standard

The 17-year-old boy received life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital.

Fatal collision #48/2016, Kingston Road at Saunders Road

On Friday, July 29, 2016 at 6:25 p.m., police responded to a call for a personal injury collision on Kingston Road at Saunders Road.

It is reported that:

- a 26-year-old man was driving a 2010 GMC Terrain, northbound on Guildcrest Drive

- as the GMC proceeded through the intersection, it was struck by a westbound TTC bus

- both vehicles collided in the intersection

- after the collision, the GMC went out of control and struck two male pedestrians who were crossing Saunders Road

Both of the pedestrians were taken to hospital. A 61-year-old man received life-threatening injuries and was pronounced in hospital. The other pedestrian, a 64-year-old man, received non-life-threatening injuries.

Toronto Police Service Chief Mark Saunders and Toronto Police Services Board Chair Andy Pringle will be hosting the third community consultation session on the modernization of the Toronto Police Service, on Wednesday, August 3, 2016, from 6 - 9 p.m., at the Rexdale Hub, 21 Panorama Court.

Members of the public are encouraged to read the Transformational Task Force Interim Report, in particular the report's 24 recommendations. The report can be seen here.

The session will include remarks from the Chief and the Chair and break-out tables designed to get the public's input on the future of policing. This consultation session will also be streamed live on the Service's Facebook page.

Road closures:

- start on Friday, August 5, 2016, 11 a.m. until Monday, August, 8, 2016, 1 p.m.

Danforth Avenue (full road): Broadview Avenue to Jones Avenue

All intersections 30m north & south (full road): Broadview Avenue to Jones Avenue

Motorists are advised to consider the road closure when planning their travels.

The event will proceed regardless of weather conditions.

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of a quantity of stolen medication.

it is reported that:

- on Saturday, July 14, 2016, between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m., a quantity of narcotics, including unknown quantities of Tylenol 4 (60 mg) and Diazepam (25mg), were stolen from an apartment in the Birchmount Road and St. Clair Avenue East area.

The medication could be harmful/fatal if ingested, especially to children.

Police request assistance with Attempt Murder investigation, Yonge Street and Dundas Street East area, Alfredo Blass, 22, sought by police, Images of man released

On Sunday, July 31, 2016, at 1:20 a.m., the Toronto Police Service received a call for a shooting in the Yonge Street and Dundas Street East area.

It is alleged that:

- two men became involved in a verbal confrontation near the southeast corner of Yonge Street and Dundas Street East

- one of the men drew a firearm from his waistband and fired four shots at the other man

- one bullet fired by the suspect travelled across Yonge Street and struck a second man standing in Yonge Dundas Square

- the suspect, along with a group of people, fled the area just prior to police arrival

Both victims were treated at a nearby hospital for non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.

It is further alleged that:

- the suspect has been identified as Alfredo Blass, 22, of Toronto

He is described as 5'9", 160 lbs., medium complexion, tattoo of "Yoanis" on his left upper arm

He is wanted for:

1) two counts attempt murder
2) two counts aggravated assault
3) Discharge firearm being reckless
4) Unauthorized possession of a firearm
5) Possession of a loaded prohibited or restricted firearm
6) Carry firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunition
7) Possess firearm knowing that its possession is unauthorized

Alfredo Blass should be considered armed and dangerous. Do not approach. Call 9-1-1.

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of a quantity of stolen medication.

It is reported that:

- between Monday, July 25, 2016 and Tuesday, July 26, 2016, Hydromorphone (18mgs, 27 pills) and Dilaudid (14 Pills) were stolen somewhere between the areas of Dufferin Street and Finch Avenue West and Jane Street and St. Clair Avenue West.

The pills could be harmful and/or fatal if ingested, especially to children.
