She is described as, 5'4", thin build, brown shoulder-length hair. She was last seen wearing a white jacket.

Police are concerned for her safety.

Man faces 12 charges in Sexual Assault investigation, Frank Gavas, 61, Police believe there may be other victims

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an arrest in a Sexual Assault investigation.

It is alleged that:

- between September 2015 and Friday, January 15, 2016, three pre-teen children were sexually assaulted by a school bus driver

On Friday January 22, 2016, Frank Gavas, 61, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with:

1. six counts of Sexual Assault
2. six counts of Sexual Interference

He appeared in court at Old City Hall on Saturday, January 23, 2016, at 10 a.m., courtroom 101.

Police believe there may be other victims.

Frank Gavas was employed by Stock Transportation from 2006 and has driven for numerous schools in the Scarborough area, including is Georges Vanier Secondary School, Wexford Public School, George Peck Public School and Sloane Public School.

Sexual Assault Alert, Firgrove Park area, Police believe there may be other victims

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of a Sexual Assault investigation.

It is reported that:

- on Sunday, January 24, 2016, in the afternoon, a man approached two girls outside of their home in the Firgrove Park area

- the man began a conversation with the girls and then sexually assaulted them before leaving on foot

The man is described as having an olive complexion, 40, 5’7”, with black, possibly balding, hair, and yellow teeth. He wore a black turtleneck shirt, a scarf, dark pants and a black coat.

Police believe there may be other victims.

Orion Neguse, 14, was last seen on Saturday, January 23, 2016, at 10 p.m., in the McLevin Avenue and Sewells Road area.

He is described as 5'6", 121 lbs., brown eyes and has an afro hairstyle. He was last seen wearing a black winter jacket, black hoodie, black sweat pants, red-and- black Nike Air Jordan runners and carrying a light-coloured Roots backpack.

Carolyn Earp, 29, was last seen on Wednesday, January 27, 2016, at approximately 4 p.m., in the Queen Street West/Ossington Avenue area.

She is described as 5’6”, with a medium build, short dark hair, and brown eyes. She was wearing a black jacket, black jeans, black shirt, green-and-blue Nike running shoes, and a pink-and-white scarf.

She is considered a danger to herself and others. If located, do not approach. Call 9-1-1.

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of a Sexual Assault investigation.

It is reported that:

- on Tuesday, January 26, 2016, at 6:15 p.m., two teenage girls were walking up a flight of stairs to the bus bay of the Davisville subway station

- a man approached them from behind and sexually assaulted one of them

The man is described as white, 20-30, 5’9”, with a medium build, wide face, and short, brown, trimmed beard along the jawline. He was wearing dark-rimmed glasses, a burgundy toque with black horizontal stripes, a burgundy parka, black baggy pants, and carrying a black backpack.

4) Break-and-Enter With Intent
5) Breach of Recognizance
6) Criminal Harassment

Four Toronto Police Service officers have been charged.

Constable Jeffrey Tout, 41, has 17 years’ service and is assigned to 55 Division.

It is alleged that:

- he provided false court testimony

On Thursday, January 28, 2016, Constable Tout was charged with:

- two counts of Obstruct Justice
- two counts of Perjury

He is scheduled to appear in court at 2201 Finch Avenue West on Friday, March 11, 2016, 1:30 p.m., room 202


Detective Constable Benjamin Elliott, 32, has nine years’ service and is assigned to 55 Division.

It is alleged that:

- he provided false court testimony

On Thursday, January 28, 2016, Detective Constable Elliott was charged with:

- three counts of Obstruct Justice
- three counts of perjury

He is scheduled to appear in court at 2201 Finch Avenue West on Friday, March 11, 2016, 1:30 p.m., room 202


Constable Michael Taylor, 34, has 11 years’ service and is assigned to 51 Division.

It is alleged that:

- he provided false court testimony

On Thursday, January 28, 2016, Constable Taylor was arrested and charged with:

- two counts of Obstruct Justice
- Perjury

He is scheduled to appear in court at 2201 Finch Avenue West on Friday, March 11, 2016, 1:30 p.m., room 202


Detective Constable Fraser Douglas, 37, has 14 years’ service and is assigned to 55 Division.

It is alleged that:

- he provided false court testimony

On Thursday, January 28, 2016, Detective Constable Douglas was arrested and charged with:

- two counts of Obstruct Justice
- two counts of Perjury

He is scheduled to appear in court at 2201 Finch Avenue West on Friday, March 11, 2016, 1:30 p.m., room 202

The charges arise from the arrest of Nguyen Son Tran on January 15, 2014. The investigation was carried out by TPS Professional Standards.

Missing man, Queen Street West and Cowan Avenue area, Jozef Trojan, 85

Jozef Trojan, 85, was last seen on Wednesday, January 27, 2016, at 1:20 p.m., in the Queen Street West and Cowan Avenue area.

He is described as 5'5", medium build, short white hair on sides and back.

He was last seen wearing a black bomber jacket, blue jeans with the bottom of the pants rolled up two inches, black leather gloves, black shoes and a white hat.

Police are concerned for his safety.

Arrest in GO Train Robbery, Tyson Shuffler, 28

Police would like to advise the public of an arrest in a GO Train robbery.

It is alleged that:

- on Tuesday, January 26, 2016, at approximately 10:25 p.m., a 25-year-old woman was on a westbound GO Train in the Birchmount Road and Raleigh Avenue area

- a man approached the woman

- the man grabbed the woman's purse and a violent struggle ensued

- the man pulled the emergency brake, which caused the train to come to a complete stop

- the man then forced the doors open and fled on foot

On Wednesday, January 27, 2016, Tyson Shuffler, 28 of Toronto, was arrested. He is charged with:

1) Armed Robbery
2) Assault with a Weapon
3) Weapons Dangerous
4) Mischief
5) Assault Police
6) Carry Concealed Weapon
7) Weapons Dangerous
8) Fail to Comply Probation

He was scheduled to appear in court at 1911 Eglinton Avenue East, on Thursday, January 28, 2016, 10 a.m.

Police are appealing to witnesses to come forward and to contact police, if they have information regarding this robbery.

On Thursday, January 28 2016, a 16-year-old boy was arrested. He is charged with:

1) Forcible confinement
2) Sexual Assault
3) Assault

He is scheduled to appear in court at 2201 Finch Avenue West, on Thursday, January 28 2016, 2 p.m., courtroom 204.

The Young Person cannot be identified under the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

On Thursday, January 28, 2016, members of the Toronto Police Service Sex Crimes Unit, Child Exploitation Section, executed a search warrant at a home in the Eglinton Avenue West and Oakwood Avenue area.

It is alleged that:

- a man was possessing, accessing and making available child pornography over the Internet

David Reeks, 45, of Toronto, was charged with:

1) Possession Child Pornography
2) Accessing Child Pornography
3) Make Available Child Pornography

He was scheduled to appear in court at 1000 Finch Avenue West on Thursday, January, 28, 2016, 2 p.m., room 301.

Police seek assistance identifying man in Sexual Assault investigation, Wellesley subway station

The Toronto Police Service is seeking the public's assistance identifying a man involved in a Sexual Assault investigation.

It is reported that:

- on Monday, January 11, 2016, at approximately 10:40 a.m., a 36-year-old woman was seated on a southbound subway train as it approached Wellesley station

- the woman was approached by a man, who sat down beside her

- while seated next to the woman, the man sexually assaulted her

He is described as 25-26, 5'6", 150 lbs., pockmarked skin, wearing his hair in a ponytail. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, blue Abercrombie hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
