Man arrested for sexual assault on 95-year-old man, Danilo Alcala, 61, Police believe there may be other victims

The Toronto Police Service is alerting the public to a Sexual Assault investigation

It is alleged that:

- on Thursday, July 16, 2015, at 9:41 a.m., the Toronto Police Service received a call for a sexual assault in the Broadview Avenue and Mortimer Avenue area

- a man who is employed as a personal support worker, attended a client's residence

- the man sexually assaulted a 95-year-old man

On Thursday, July 16, 2015, Danilo Alcala, 61, of Toronto, was arrested. He is charged with:

1) Sexual assault

He is scheduled to appear in court at College Park, on Friday, July 17, 2015, 10 a.m., room 507.

Police believe there may be other victims.

Police would like to encourage the public to come forward and report Sexual Assault occurrences to police. Police will ensure that everyone has access to support services, regardless of their decision to proceed criminally.

Stephania Castro, 75, was last seen on Thursday, July 16, 2015, at 1:30 p.m., in the Yonge Street and Bloor Street area.

Public Safety Alert, Lost medication, Kipling Avenue and Lake Shore Boulevard West area

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of a quantity of lost medication.

On Thursday, July 14, 2015, a quantity of medication was lost on a TTC bus in the Kipling Avenue and Lake Shore Boulevard West area.

The lost medication includes Oxycodones and Percocets.

The pills could be harmful and/or fatal if ingested, especially to children.

14 Division's "Fugitive Friday," Waylon Goodwin, 37

This is the latest instalment of 14 Division's "Fugitive Friday." Police are looking for Waylon Goodwin, 37, of Toronto.

It is alleged that:

- on Sunday, January 4, 2015, a man and woman were involved in a argument in the King Street West and Spadina Avenue area

- the man grabbed the woman by her throat and held her against a wall

- a off-duty Toronto Police officer observed the assault and intervened by identifying himself as an officer and ordered the man to stop

- the man turned his attention away from the woman and lunged and attacked the officer

- the officer was able to subdue the man, until uniform officers arrived on scene

On Monday, July 13, 2015 a Bench Warrant for Waylon Goodwin, 37, of Toronto was issued.

He is wanted on the strength of a Bench Warrant for:

1) Assault
2) Assaulting Peace Officer

He is described as 5'7", 185 lbs., with brown hair and brown eyes.

Police warn that he is considered violent. If he is located do not approach. Call 9-1-1.

Police seek public assistance locating man wanted in Break-and-Enter investigation, High Park Avenue and Queen's Quay, Photograph of wanted man released

The Toronto Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance locating a man wanted in a Break-and-Enter investigation.

It is alleged that:

- on Sunday, July 5, 2015, between 4 p.m. and 11 p.m., a man entered a condominium complex on High Park Avenue and Bloor Street West

- the man managed to get a master key to the condominium

- the man then made his way into a unit inside the building

- the man removed a quantity of electronics and jewellery

It is further alleged that:

- on Wednesday, July 8, 2015, at approximately 5:30 a.m., a man entered a condominium complex on Queen's Quay and Spadina Avenue

- the man managed to get a master key to the condominium

- the man took the key and then left the condominium complex

A warrant has been issued for Phillip Wrixon, 30, of Toronto. He is wanted for:

1) Break-and-Enter & Commit
2) Theft Under $5000
3) Mischief Under $5000

He currently has no fixed address but resides in the downtown core or High Park. He is described as 5'10", 170 lbs., with short reddish hair.

Public Safety Alert, Distraction theft

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of a distraction theft that targeted a senior.

It is reported that:

- on Thursday, July 9, 2015, an 85-year-old woman was walking on Hallam Street, near Gladstone Avenue

- a man and a woman in a car pulled up to the victim

- the female passenger said, "Hi mom," reached out and grabbed the victim's hand, and removed three gold rings

- when the victim tried to stop this, with her other hand, the woman removed a fourth gold ring

- when the victim demanded her rings back, the woman slipped four rings into the victim's purse pocket, and the pair drove away

- the victim later realized the rings were not hers

The women is described as having a brown/olive complexion, in her mid-20s, with a thin build, with straight shoulder-length brown hair, wearing a pink blouse.

The man is described as having a brown/olive complexion, darker than the woman's, in his mid-20s, with a thin build, with straight, short, dark-brown hair, wearing a black shirt.

The car is described as a four-door light-blue sedan.

Sexual Assault Alert, Police request assistance with Sexual Assault investigation

The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance identifying a man wanted in a Sexual Assault investigation.

It is reported that:

- on Thursday, July 16, 2015, at approximately 6:30 p.m., a 48-year-old woman was in the Davenport Road/Laughton Avenue area

- a man, wearing a black face mask, sexually assaulted her

- the woman fought him off, and he fled westbound, on foot

The man is described as 5'9"-5'11", with a medium-to-large build. He was wearing a thick light-grey hoodie with black lettering or design on the front, with the hood pulled low around the face, and black pants. The mask was a fitted black cloth with holes for breathing, covering up to his eyes.

Arrest in Sexual Assault investigation, Richard Odeleye, 60, faces three charges, Police believe there may be other victims

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an arrest in a Sexual Assault investigation.

It is alleged that:

- from December 2013 to March 2014, a 35-year-old woman retained the services of an immigration lawyer

- she visited his office on several occasions, in the Yonge Street/Sheppard Avenue area

- on three separate occasions, he sexually assaulted her

On Wednesday, July 15, 2015, Richard Odeleye, 60, of Toronto, was arrested. He is charged with:

1) three counts of Sexual Assault

He is scheduled to appear in court at 1000 Finch Avenue West, on Thursday, August 27, 2015.

Police believe there may be more victims.

The Toronto Police Service is alerting the public to a Sexual Assault investigation.

It is alleged that:

- a 26-year-old woman attended "Needed Massage," a massage clinic at 173 Queen Street East

- a man who is the owner of, and a massage therapist at, the clinic, sexually assaulted the woman

On Friday, July 10, 2015, Abdulaziz Albekairi, also known as Aziz, 42, of Toronto, was arrested. He is charged with:

1) Sexual Assault

He is scheduled to appear in court at College Park on Monday, August 10, 2015, 2 p.m.

He has been employed as a Registered Massage Therapist since 2006, at various establishments. Police believe there may be other victims.

Arrest in series of bank robberies, William Richard Turner, 47, dubbed "The Well-Dressed Bandit," faces four charges

On Wednesday, March 4, 2015, the Canadian Bankers Association announced a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of a bank robber dubbed "the Well-Dressed Bandit."

The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public's assistance locating a man wanted in a series of bank robberies throughout the city.

On Thursday, October 23, 2014, at 10:35 a.m., a well-dressed man attended a bank branch in the Rogers Road and Keele Street area.

It is reported that:

- he approached the teller and demanded money

- he indicated he had a gun

- he opened his jacket to reveal a concealed black handgun

- he was given a quantity of money and fled

On Thursday, November 6, 2014, at 10:30 a.m., the same well-dressed man entered a bank branch in the Queens Plate Drive and Highway 27 area.

It is reported that:

- he approached the teller and showed her a hold-up note

- the note demanded money and indicated he had a gun

- other tellers took notice of the man

- he fled the bank having obtained nothing

On Monday, November 10, 2014 at 4:25 p.m., the same man entered a bank branch in the College Street and Grace Street area.

It is reported that:

- he showed the teller a robbery note demanding money

- the note indicated he had a gun

- he took a black handgun out of a carrying case he had

- the teller handed him a quantity of money and he fled

Also on Monday, November 10, 2014, at 4:55 p.m., he walked in to a bank branch in the Bloor Street West and Dovercourt Road area.

It is reported that:

- he retreated to the vestibule where he spoke on his phone

- he then approached the teller and gave her note

- the note indicated he had a gun and demanded a specific amount of money

- he threatened to kill the teller if she did not comply

- the handle of the gun was seen inside the carrying case he had

- he was given a quantity of money and fled

The man is described as white, 5'11"-6'2", 45-60, wearing sunglasses, tan gloves and a hooded jacket. In each robbery, he is carrying a tan-coloured carrying case.

Police are releasing a security camera video and images of the suspect and are requesting the public's assistance identifying him.

Police believe he is armed and dangerous. If he is located, do not approach him. Call 9-1-1.
The Canadian Bankers Association is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for these bank robberies, dubbed the 'Well-Dressed Bandit."
On Tuesday, July 14, 2015, Toronto Police Service Hold Up officers arrested William Richard Turner, 47, in Sydney, Nova Scotia.

He is charged with:

1) two counts of Armed Robbery
2) two counts of Robbery

He was scheduled to appear in court at 2201 Finch Avenue West, on Friday, July 17, 2015, courtroom 206.

The investigation remains ongoing.

Public Safety Alert, Lost medication, Main subway station

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of a quantity of lost medication.

On Sunday, July 19, 2015 at 3:05 p.m., a quantity of medication was lost on the eastbound TTC train at Main subway station.

The lost medication was in a lock box and contained 6 x 60 mg bottles of methadone.

The pills could be harmful and/or fatal if ingested, especially to children.

Methadone is highly addictive and if taken may cause a life-threatening heart disorder. Methadone may also affect an individual's breathing.

- on Friday, July 17, 2015, at 7:50 p.m., a 30-year-old woman was walking in the East Liberty Street/Strachan Avenue area

- a man sexually assaulted her, then fled

The man is described as white, 30-35, 5’10”, 240 lbs., with short light-brown hair receding in the front and a big stomach. He walks with his chin down. He was wearing a white polo shirt with blue stripes and dark pants.

Trust 15 is currently running a summer leadership camp for girls.

Trust 15 currently operates out of 23 Division. It is a not-for-profit organization that provides inner-city youth in the Rexdale area with programs that promote and facilitate positive behaviour, creative expression and cooperative working skills, while in a safe and encouraging place.

Trust 15 provides at-risk kids in the community the social and educational tools to succeed in society, through mentoring and positive role-model intervention.

On Tuesday, July 21, 2015, at 2 p.m., the camp will be hosting a Tea Party at Topiary’s Steak & Seafood at 3215 Derry Road East in Mississauga.

Officers from 23 Division and the Toronto Police Service Mounted Unit will be in attendance.

Public assistance sought identifying suspects and Persons of Interest in Attempt Murder investigation, Security camera video released

The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance identifying two male Persons of Interest in an Attempted Murder investigation.

It is reported that:

- on Saturday, June 13, 2015, at approximately 1 a.m., a group of friends were at a pool hall in the Warden Avenue/Ellesmere Road area

- outside the pool hall, the group was approached by a second group, and a dispute ensued

- one man from the second group pepper-sprayed the first group

- another man from the second group stabbed one of the men from the first group

- the second group fled in a white vehicle and a light-coloured vehicle

The man sustained injuries to his back and was taken to hospital.

The suspects are described as follows:

- a brown man with short black hair, a beard, and a tattoo on his left inside forearm, wearing a blue jacket with a white symbol on the rear

- a skinny brown man with short black hair and a beard, wearing a blue Adidas jacket with white stripes on the sleeves and light-blue jeans

- a heavy brown man with black hair, a beard, and tattoos on both forearms, wearing a khaki hoodie and khaki pants,

The suspects should be considered armed and dangerous. Do not approach them. If located, call 9-1-1 immediately.

Missing man, Milan Davidovich, 86

The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance locating a missing man.

Milan Davidovich, 86, was last seen on Sunday, July 12, 2015 at 9 a.m., in the Queen Street West and Peter Street area.

He is described as 5'0", 110 lbs., slim build, short grey hair and a trimmed grey beard. He was last seen with a cane wrapped in green electrical tape.

Police are concerned for his safety.

It is alleged that:

- on Thursday, July 16, 2015, at 9:41 a.m., the Toronto Police Service received a call for a sexual assault in the Broadview Avenue and Mortimer Avenue area

On Tuesday, July 21, 2015, Danilo Alcala, 61, of Toronto, was additionally charged with:

1) three counts of Sexual assault
2) three counts of Sexual Exploitation of a Disabled Person

He was scheduled to appear in court at College Park on Tuesday, July 21, 2015, 10 a.m.

Police believe there may be other victims.

Personal injury collision #33/2015, The Queensway, east of South Kingsway, Police request assistance with investigation

On Monday, July 20, 2015, at 10:15 a.m., police responded to a call for a pedestrian-struck personal injury collision at The Queensway, east of South Kingsway.

It is reported that:

− a 38-year-old man was driving a 2005 Freightliner truck, and was reversing the truck westbound in the eastbound lanes of The Queensway

− a 58-year-old man was standing on the south boulevard of The Queensway, attempting to assist the driver as he was reversing the vehicle

− for reasons not yet determined, the man stepped off of the curb and on to the roadway where he was struck by the truck

The 58-year-old man suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital.

- on Wednesday, July 15, 2015, at 8 p.m., a 30-year old woman was standing at the TTC stop on the northeast corner of Dundas Street East and Jarvis Street

- a man sexually assaulted her, then fled

The man is described as black with a dark complexion, 29-33, 5'11", thin build, black shaved head and clean-shaven face. He was wearing a green zip-up sports-style sweater and dark jeans.
