The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance locating a missing woman.

Yi Di Zhang, 22, was last seen on Saturday, April 27, 2013, at 9:50 a.m., in the Dundas Street East/Sherbourne Street area.

She is described as 5’3”, with a thin build. She was last seen wearing a black jacket, black pants, black shoes with white on the toe area and glasses.

Police are concerned for her safety.

He is described as white, with an olive complexion, 6’2”, 190 lbs., short, black hair with brown eyes. He walks slightly hunched over, with his arms out to the sides.

Police request assistance with sound-of-gunshots investigation

On Tuesday, April 23, 2013, at 3:36 a.m., police responded to a call for the sound of gunshots in the area of Bloordale Park, in the Bloor Street West/ Renforth Drive area.

Five minutes later, at 3:41 a.m., police responded to a second call for the sound of gunshots less than 500 metres away to the east

Officers located several casings on the ground at both scenes

Maria Soares, 58, was last seen on Sunday, April 28, 2013, at 1 p.m., in the Rusholme Drive/Dundas Street area.

She is described as white, 5’7", 140 lbs., short, brown hair, brown eyes and wears glasses. She was last seen wearing black shoes, black trackpants and a red sweater.

Police are concerned for her safety.

Public Safety Alert, Suspicious incident, Bathurst Street/Lake Shore Boulevard West area

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of a suspicious incident in the Bathurst Street/Lake Shore Boulevard West area.

It is reported that:

- on Saturday, April 27, 2013, at 6 p.m., a man followed a woman jogger into an apartment building, then into the elevator

- the man attempted to follow the woman into her apartment but was stopped when the door was closed quickly

The man is described as black, with a medium-to-dark complexion, 20-23, 5’11”. He was last seen wearing a dark baseball hat with the word “Obey” on the front, beige pants and a black long-sleeved shirt. The man was also wearing a light-blue-and-pink backpack with a cartoon-like character on the back.

Police request assistance with suspicious-incident investigation, Photograph of capsized vessel released

The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public's assistance identifying the owner of a capsized vessel recovered in Lake Ontario. The vessel was located near Marie Curtis Park on Sunday, April 28, 2013.

The vessel is described as a black/white, 12-foot fiberglass boat with an older 65 horsepower Evinrude outboard motor.

The key in the ignition was in the on-position with the throttle open.

The vessel also had two life preservers on board.

Demetrio "Bob" Bernardino, 83, was last seen at Toronto Pearson International Airport on Friday, April 26, 2013, when he returned to Canada on a flight from the Philippines.

He is described as 5’7", 130 lbs., with short grey/black hair.

Police are concerned for his safety.

Man and woman wanted in kidnapping investigation Constantine Caldararu, 34, and Elisa Caldararu, 34

The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public's assistance locating a man and woman in a kidnapping investigation.

It is alleged that:

- in April 2013, a man and a woman in a car approached an elderly woman walking her dog in the Eglinton Avenue West/Allen Road area

- they asked the woman for directions to the nearest hospital and, while doing so, pressured her to buy a gold necklace

- the woman offered a sum of money

- they took the money and gave her the necklace made of fake gold

- they continued to follow the woman as she walked away in an attempt to flee

- they followed the woman back to her apartment building and pressured her for more money while inside the building

- in an attempt to flee again, the woman left her building with her dog

- they continued to follow the woman and demanded that she get into their car

- they drove the woman to a bank and demanded that she withdraw cash

- they then took her cash and fled

Constantine Caldararu, 34, and Elisa Caldararu, 34, both of Toronto, are wanted for:

1) two counts of Fraud
2) Kidnapping
3) Forcible confinement
4) Robbery
5) Extortion
6) four counts of Possession of property obtained by crime
7) Possession of proceeds of crime

Constantine Caldararu is described as white, 6'2", 350 lbs., with black hair, and brown eyes. He has several large tattoos on his body and arms.

Elisa Caldararu is described as 5'8", 250 lbs., with black hair, brown eyes.

On Thursday, April 25, 2013, police executed a search warrant at a home in the Sheppard Avenue East/Markham Road area.

If is further alleged that:

- police seized $16,000 in Canadian currency, two pounds of fake gold, jewellery used in various offences and a quantity of the victims' gold

Police believe there may be other victims.

Sexual Assault Alert, Eglinton Avenue East/Oswego Road area, Man wanted

The Toronto Police Service is alerting the public to a sexual assault investigation.

Early on Sunday, April 28, 2013, a 20-year-old woman reported being sexually assaulted in the Eglinton Avenue East/Oswego Road area.

It was reported that:

- as a woman left a nightclub in the Eglinton Avenue East/Oswego Road area, a man began to follow her

- the man grabbed the woman's purse and she resisted

- the man then forced her to a secluded area where he sexually assaulted her

- the man fled the area on foot

The man is described as black, 6’3", slim-to-average build, clean-shaven, short black hair, early 20s, with a large forehead.

Police request assistance with shooting investigation, Security camera image of suspect released

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of a shooting investigation.

It is reported that:

- on Friday, April 26, 2013, at 1:45 p.m., two men attended Four Winds Drive, in the Finch Avenue West/Sentinel Road area

- the two men became involved in an altercation with another man

- the man discharged a firearm injuring one of the two victims

- the suspect then fled the scene

The suspect is described as black, with a dark complexion, 18, with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a grey hooded zip-up sweater, over a lime-green hooded shirt and black jogging pants.

The suspect is considered armed and dangerous. If located, do not approach, but call 9-1-1 immediately.

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of man arrested in a sexual assault investigation.

It is alleged that:

- on Saturday, April 27, 2013, at 1 p.m., the accused was walking in the Queen Street West/Dovercourt Road area

- the accused approached several woman and sexually assaulted them

On Saturday, April 27, 2013, at 1:15 p.m., Lameck Williams, 26, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with:

1) five counts of sexual assault
2) Breach of Recognizance - Peace Bond.

He was scheduled to appear in court at Old City Hall, on Sunday, April 28, 2013, room 101, at 10 a.m.

Police believe there may be more victims.

Man wanted in shooting investigation, Adrian Scott, 18, Update, Man arrested, faces six charges in shooting investigation

On Saturday, April 27, 2013, the Toronto Police Service issued a news release regarding a man wanted in a shooting investigation.

On Saturday, April 27, 2013, at 3:20 p.m., Adrian Scott, 18, was arrested and charged with:

1) Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
2) Weapons Dangerous
3) Discharge Firearm - Endanger Life
4) Careless use of a firearm
5) Weapons Dangerous
6) Carry Concealed Weapon

He was scheduled to appear in court at Old City Hall, on Sunday, April 28, 2013, at 10 a.m., room 101.

Police have not yet identified the other man allegedly involved in the shooting, described as a black male, but are requesting the assistance of anyone who knows him.

Man faces eight additional charges in child-luring investigation, Daniel Younis, 24, Photograph of man released

On Monday, April 29, 2013, police arrested a man in connection with an ongoing child-luring investigation.

See previous release.

It is now alleged that:

- between January 2011 and February 2013, the accused engaged three boys, between 16 and 17, through cell phone and Internet chats

- two of the victims sent images of themselves to the accused using their cell phones

- two of the victims were sexually assaulted by the accused

Daniel Younis, 24, of Toronto, has been charged with:

1. three counts of Luring a Child (Under 18)
2. two counts of Attempt Make Child Pornography
3. three counts of Sexual Exploitation

The accused was scheduled to appear in court at 1000 Finch Avenue West on Monday, April 29, 2013, room 306, at 10 a.m

At the time of his first arrest, Daniel Younis was the Recruiting Coordinator and Running Back coach for the York University Lions football team.

It is alleged that:

- two of the three victims were sexually assaulted on the York University campus

- the accused met the third victim at an all-star football game in Texas

Police believe there may be more victims.

On Thursday, April 25, 2013, at 9:18 p.m., police responded to a home invasion at an apartment building on Bogert Avenue.

The victim has been identified as Dylan Palumbo, 28, of Toronto.

Police have released a security camera image of two suspects.

Police are also looking to speak with a woman, 20-25, with a tan complexion. She left the scene prior to the murder. We are asking her to contact police.

He was wearing a brown London Fog-style jacket, black sweater with grey horizontal stripes, blue checkered shirt, grey slacks and brown shoes.
