Police request assistance with Robbery investigation, Superior Avenue and Lake Shore Boulevard West area, Security camera video released

On Monday, March 6, 2017, at 10 p.m., the Toronto Police Service received a call for a Robbery in the Superior Avenue and Lake Shore Boulevard West area.

It is reported that:

- a man responded to an advertisement for the sale of a laptop computer on an online classified advertising service

- he then made arrangements with the proposed sellers to meet at a building in the Superior Avenue and Lake Shore Boulevard West area so that he could make the purchase

- once at this location, he met with two men who identified themselves as the persons who were selling the laptop

- the man was then assaulted by the two men, who struck him with a handgun, stole a quantity of cash and a cellular telephone from him, and fled the area

- the man was later taken to hospital where he received treatment for his injuries

The two male suspects are described as:

1) black, early 20s, wearing a black jacket with a hood, black baseball cap, and dark pants.

2) black, with a light skin tone, early 20s, unshaven, wearing a grey, waist-length jacket, with a fur-trimmed hood, black baseball cap, with the Nike logo on front, and grey Nike running shoes
