The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of a Criminal Harassment investigation.
It is alleged that:
- on Wednesday, November 9, 2016, at approximately 2:30 p.m., a 20-year-old woman was at Victoria Park subway station
- a man, waiting on the bridge area, followed the woman and attempted to kiss her
- after the woman confronted him, he assaulted her twice
On Wednesday, November 9, 2016, Muhunthan Chambasivam, 32, was arrested. He is charged with:
1) Criminal harassment
2) Attempt sexual assault
3) two counts of assault
4) Carry concealed weapon
He is described as brown, 5'4", small build, black hair. He is known to frequent Victoria Park subway station.
