Toronto Police Service Hold Up is seeking the public's assistance identifying a man involved in a bank robbery.
It is reported that:
- on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at 4:24 p.m., a man entered a bank branch in the Sheppard Avenue East and Victoria Park Avenue area
- the man lined up and waited for the next available teller
- he made a verbal statement to the teller indicating a robbery, and stated he had a gun in his pocket
- he was given a quantity of money and ran out of the branch
- no weapon was seen
He is described as mid-to-late 40s, 5'8"–5'10", long brown hair, and a beard. He was wearing a black baseball cap with white writing, and a black-and-white jacket.
