On Sunday, June 9, 2013, at 11 a.m., the Alliance of Portuguese Clubs and Associations of Ontario "Portuguese Day Parade" will take place.
Parade route:
Formation Area: Lansdowne Avenue, Bloor Street West to College Street, full roadway, 8 a.m.-1 p.m.
- Southbound on Lansdowne Avenue, full roadway, 8 a.m.- 1p.m.
- Eastbound on Dundas Street West, full roadway, 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
- Dispersal Area: Dundas Street West and Gore Vale Avenue
Event organizers anticipate 10,000 participants, 100 motor vehicles, 40 floats and six musical bands.
The TTC will be re-routing buses during the event.
This event will take place regardless of weather conditions. Members of the public should anticipate significant traffic delays in the area surrounding the event.
