The Toronto Police Service is seeking the public's assistance identifying a man and a woman wanted in a Robbery investigation.
On Wednesday, June 1, 2016, at 7:30 p.m., a 53-year-old man was standing on the sidewalk in the Yonge Street and Dundas Street area.
It is reported that:
- he was approached by a woman and man
- he was attacked by the man
- during the attack he was choked for several minutes
- the woman robbed him as he was choked
- the man and woman fled north on Yonge Street
The 53-year-old man suffered facial injuries. He was taken to hospital and treated.
The male suspect is described as white, wearing blue jeans, a brown long-sleeved shirt, and a brown poor-boy hat.
The female suspect is described as having long, straight, black hair, wearing blue jeans and a red long-sleeved shirt. She is seen smoking in the images.
