On Tuesday, March 22, 2015, at 2:11 p.m., police received a call to attend 10 Suntract Road.
It is alleged that:
- a woman had been struck by a vehicle in the parking lot of a Leon's Furniture Store
Police and paramedics arrived and found a woman on the ground, suffering from obvious trauma.
She was pronounced at the scene.
She has been identified as Eleanor Campbell, 65, of Toronto.
It is alleged that:
- further investigation revealed that the woman had been deliberately struck by a vehicle
On Tuesday, March 22, 2016, at 9:20 p.m., Michelle Campbell, 43, of Toronto, the daughter of the deceased, was arrested. She has been charged with:
1) Second-Degree Murder
She was scheduled to appear in court at College Park on Wednesday, March 23, 2016, 10 a.m., room 507.
