Arrest in historic Sexual Assault investigation, Update, Ryan McCombe, 41, faces new charges, Police believe there may be other victims

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an arrest in an ongoing Sexual Assault investigation.

It is alleged that:

- in 2008, a then-13-year-old girl attended a private residence in the Yonge Street and Lawrence Avenue area for math tutoring

- between June 2008 and September 2008, she was sexually assaulted by her tutor

It is now further alleged that:

- between September 2012 and October 2014, a then-16-year-old girl was sexually assaulted in the Yonge Street and Lawrence Avenue area while attending a private residence

On Monday, February 1, 2016, Ryan McCombe, 41, of Toronto, was re-arrested and charged with:

1) two counts of Sexual Assault
2) Sexual Exploitation
3) Possession of Child Pornography
4) Access Child Pornography
5) Making Child Pornography

He appeared in court at 1000 Finch Avenue West, on Monday, February 1, 2016.

Police believe there may be other victims.
