Police are requesting assistance with a robbery investigation in the John Street and Adelaide Street West area.
It is reported that:
- on Saturday, January 16, 2016, at 2:42 p.m., a man walked into a restaurant
- he ordered food and asked if the cashier could make change for a $100 bill
- when the cash registered was opened, the man reached over the counter and took a quantity of cash
- another employee tried to stop the man
- the man hit the other employee and ran away with the cash
Security camera images of a wanted man are released.
