The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an arrest in an Assault with a Weapon investigation.
It is alleged that:
- on Saturday, October 31, 2015, at approximately 3:15 p.m., a three-year-old boy and his father attended the Humber Cinemas Theatre at 2442 Bloor Street West

On Wednesday, November 4, 2015, Alverna Maria Lawrence, 53, of Toronto, was arrested. She is charged with:
1. Assault Causing Bodily Harm
2. Assault with a Weapon
3. Weapons Dangerous
4. Carry Concealed Weapon
5. Administer Noxious substance
She is scheduled to appear in court at College Park on Thursday, November 5, 2015, 10 a.m., room 507.
