The Victoria Day Ashbridge's Bay fireworks will take place on Monday, May 20, 2013, at 10 p.m. The fireworks display will last approximately 15 minutes, and can be seen on the Boardwalk from Coxwell Avenue to Victoria Park Avenue.
Major traffic delays can be expected and there is limited parking in the area.
In past years, heavy congestion has resulted in the closing of Lake Shore Boulevard East, between Coxwell Avenue/Woodbine Avenue.
Public transit is recommended as the TTC will be providing additional bus service to accommodate crowds.
Setting off personal fireworks in a public park is dangerous and unlawful. Fireworks brought into the area by attendees can be seized by police. Police will be patrolling and enforcing city by-laws, including the Liquor Licence Act.
