Police request assistance with TTC shooting investigation, Photographs of suspect re-released

On Sunday, February 26, 2012, at 7:22 p.m., police responded to a call for a shooting at Dupont subway station.

See previous release.

It was reported that:

- a suspect approached the TTC collector's booth

- the suspect fired several shots at the booth, striking the collector in the neck and shoulder

- the suspect fled empty-handed

Investigators believe the same suspect is responsible for similar robberies, at the same location, on June 11, 2011 and October 2, 2011.

The victim was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect is described as white, 35-40, with a stocky build. The suspect was last seen wearing all-black clothing and a black balaclava.

The TTC has issued a $25,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect.
