The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an arrest in a historic Sexual Assault investigation.
It is alleged that:
- in 1995, on two separate occasions, a man sexually assaulted a then-eight-year-old girl he was babysitting
On Friday, October 16, 2015, Sabakunasingam Eliyathamby, 66, of Toronto, surrendered to police. He is charged with:
1) two counts of Sexual Interference
2) two counts of Sexual Assault
He is scheduled to appear in court at 1911 Eglinton Ave East, on Tuesday, November 24, 2015, courtroom 407.
Police believe there may be other victims.
