On Sunday, May 12, 2013, police arrested a man in connection with a shooting/firearm investigation.
It is alleged that:
- a man attended a hospital on Sunday, May 12, 2013, with a gunshot wound to his leg
- the man told police that he was the victim of a drive-by shooting
- members of 42 Division started an investigation and determined that the man had inflicted the gunshot upon himself
It is further alleged that:
- on Sunday, May 12, 2013, members of 42 Division Major Crime Unit executed a search warrant on Iangrove Terrace
- police seized a rifle, a shotgun, two handguns, a pellet rifle, along with a quantity of ammunition and a quantity of drugs
Kevin Gilhooley, 43, of Toronto, has been charged with:
1) Public Mischief
2) three counts of Unauthorized possession of a firearm
3) three counts of Possession of a firearm knowing its possession is unauthorized
4) three counts of Careless storage of a firearm
5) Careless storage of ammunition
6) three counts of Acquire Firearm without F.A.C.
7) three counts of Weapons Dangerous
8) Careless use of a firearm
9) Possession of Cannabis
10) Possession of Cannabis for the purpose of trafficking
11) Possession of Proceeds of Crime
He was scheduled to appear in court at Old City Hall, on Monday, May 13, 2013, room 103, at 10 a.m.
It is alleged that:
