On Sunday, August 9, 2015 at 9:12 p.m., police responded to a call for a personal injury collision at Meadowvale Road near Sheppard Avenue East .
It is reported that:
- a 74 year-old man was driving a 2013 Toyota Corolla, southbound on Meadowvale Road approaching Sheppard Avenue East
- a 37 year-old man was attempting to cross Meadowvale Road, north of Sheppard Avenue East
- the man was struck by the Toyota
The 37 year-old man suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported to hospital for treatment. On Monday, August 10, 2015, the man succumbed to his injuries.
